Exodus 19:1（KJV）In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

Exodus 19:1（NIV）【At Mount Sinai】In the third month after the Israelites left Egypt--on the very day--they came to the Desert of Sinai.

Exodus 19:2（KJV）For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

Exodus 19:3（KJV）And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

Exodus 19:3（NIV）Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain and said,"This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel:

Exodus 19:4（KJV）Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

出19:5（UCV）如今你們若實在聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。

Exodus 19:5（KJV）Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exodus 19:5（NIV）Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

出19:6（UCV）你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為聖潔的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

Exodus 19:6（KJV）And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Exodus 19:6（NIV）you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

出19:7（UCV）摩西去召了民間的長老來，將耶和華所吩咐他的話都在他們面前陳明。

出19:7（NCV）摩西去把人民的長老召了來，把耶和華吩咐他的這一切話都擺在他們面前。

出19:7（CLV）摩西召集了以色列的父老，把上帝的話轉告他們。

Exodus 19:7（KJV）And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

Exodus 19:7（NIV）So Moses went back and summoned the elders of the people and set before them all the words the LORD had commanded him to speak.

出19:8（UCV）百姓都同聲回答說：「凡耶和華所說的，我們都要遵行。」摩西就將百姓的話回覆耶和華。

出19:8（NCV）人民都一致的回答，說：「凡是耶和華吩咐的，我們都要遵行。」摩西就去把人民的話回覆耶和華。

出19:8（CLV）他們聽了以後，都齊聲回答說：「凡上帝所吩咐的，我們都願意遵從。」摩西便把他們這話回稟上帝。

Exodus 19:8（KJV）And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

Exodus 19:8（NIV）The people all responded together, "We will do everything the LORD has said." So Moses brought their answer back to the LORD.

出19:9（UCV）耶和華對摩西說：「我要在密雲中臨到你那裡，叫百姓在我與你說話的時候可以聽見，也可以永遠信你了。」於是摩西將百姓的話奏告耶和華。

出19:9（NCV）【立約前的準備】耶和華對摩西說：「看哪！我要在密雲中降臨到你那裡，為要使人民在我與你說話的時候可以聽見，也可以永遠信你。」於是，摩西把人民的話告訴了耶和華。

出19:9（CLV）上帝對摩西說：「我會在密雲之中向你說話，使民眾也可以親耳聽見我與你說話的聲音，這樣，他們就永遠信賴你了。

Exodus 19:9（KJV）And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

Exodus 19:9（NIV）The LORD said to Moses,"Iam going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you." Then Moses told the LORD what the people had said.

出19:10（UCV）耶和華又對摩西說：「你往百姓那裡去，叫他們今天、明天自潔，又叫他們洗衣服。

出19:10（NCV）耶和華對摩西說：「你到人民那裡去，要他們今天、明天分別為聖，又要他們洗淨自已的衣服；

出19:10（CLV）你現在回到他們那裡去，吩咐他們用兩天的時間來潔淨自己，使自己成為聖潔，又要洗淨衣服，

Exodus 19:10（KJV）And the LORD said unto Moses,Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

Exodus 19:10（NIV）And the LORD said to Moses,"Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes

出19:11（UCV）到第三天要預備好了，因為第三天耶和華要在眾百姓眼前降臨在西乃山上。

出19:11（NCV）第三天，他們要預備好了，因為第三天耶和華要在全體人民眼前降臨在西奈山。

出19:11（CLV）到了第三天，他們就可以親眼看見我降臨在西奈山上。

Exodus 19:11（KJV）And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:11（NIV）and be ready by the third day, because on that day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

出19:12（UCV）你要在山的四圍給百姓定界限，說：『你們當謹慎，不可上山去，也不可摸山的邊界；凡摸這山的，必要治死他。

出19:12（NCV）你要在山的四圍給人民定界限，說：『你們要謹慎，不可上山來，也不可觸摸山腳；凡是觸摸著那山的，必要把他處死。

出19:12（CLV）此外，你又要在山麓的四周劃定界線，吩咐民眾不得上山或觸到界線，違例者死。

Exodus 19:12（KJV）And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

Exodus 19:12（NIV）Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, 'Be careful that you do not goup the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.

出19:13（UCV）不可用手摸它，必用石頭打死，或用箭射透；無論是人、是牲畜，都不得活。到角聲拖長的時候，他們才可到山根來。』」

出19:13（NCV）不可用手觸摸它，必須用石頭把他打死，或用箭射透；無論是牲畜，是人，都不得生存。』當號角聲拖長的時候，你們才可以上到山根來。」

出19:13（CLV）倘若有人或牲畜犯了這命令，你們千萬不可以用手觸摸他，要把他用石塊或用箭殺死。你吩咐他們在界外靜候，直到聽見一聲很長的號角聲，才可到山麓來。」

Exodus 19:13（KJV）There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shallcome up to the mount.

Exodus 19:13（NIV）He shall surely be stoned or shot with arrows; not a hand is to be laid on him. Whether man or animal, he shall not be permitted to live.' Only when the ram's horn sounds a long blast may they go up to the mountain."

出19:14（UCV）摩西下山往百姓那裡去，叫他們自潔，他們就洗衣服。

出19:14（NCV）摩西從山上下來到人民那裡去，使人民分別為聖，他們就把自已的衣服洗淨了。

出19:14（CLV）於是，摩西再回到民眾那裡去，吩咐他們各人潔淨自己，使自己成為聖潔，並且洗滌衣服。

Exodus 19:14（KJV）And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

Exodus 19:14（NIV）After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.

出19:15（UCV）他對百姓說：「到第三天要預備好了，不可親近女人。」

耶和華召摩西上山頂，摩西就上去。

出19:15（NCV）他對人民說：「第三天，你們要預備好了；不可親近女人。」

出19:15（CLV）又吩咐他們說：「你們還有兩天的時間可以預備，兩天之內，你們都不得與妻子發生性行為。」

Exodus 19:15（KJV）And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

出19:16（NCV）【　神在西奈山顯現】到了第三天早晨的時候，山上有雷聲、閃電，和密雲，並且角聲非常強大，以致所有在營中的人民都顫抖。

出19:16（CLV）到了第三天早晨，山上雷電大作，滿佈烏雲，又有非常嘹亮的角聲，民眾盡都心驚膽跳。

Exodus 19:16（KJV）And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

Exodus 19:16（NIV）On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled.

Exodus 19:17（KJV）And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

Exodus 19:17（NIV）Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

出19:18（UCV）西乃全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降於山上，山的煙氣上騰，如燒窯一般，遍山大大的震動。

出19:18（NCV）西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨到山上；山的煙向上升，好像火窯的煙一樣。全山猛烈震動。

出19:18（CLV）這時候，整個西奈山都冒著濃煙，因為上帝在火中降臨山上。火煙往天上直冒，好像一個燒著的大火窯，整座山都震動起來。

Exodus 19:18（KJV）And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Exodus 19:18（NIV）Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, the whole mountain trembled violently,

出19:19（UCV）角聲漸漸地高而又高，摩西就說話，　神有聲音答應他。

出19:19（NCV）角聲越來越大，大到極點的時候，摩西就說話，　神用雷聲回答摩西。

出19:19（CLV）號角的聲音愈來愈嘹亮。摩西就開聲與上帝說話，上帝用好像雷鳴一樣的聲音回答摩西。

Exodus 19:19（KJV）And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

Exodus 19:19（NIV）and the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder. Then Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.

出19:20（UCV）耶和華降臨在西乃山頂上，

出19:20（NCV）耶和華降臨在西奈山上，就是降臨到山頂上；耶和華呼召摩西上山頂，他就上去了。

出19:20（CLV）以上就是上帝降臨西奈山的情形。上帝呼喚摩西，摩西就到山上去了。

Exodus 19:20（KJV）And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

Exodus 19:20（NIV）The LORD descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So Moses went up

出19:21（UCV）耶和華對摩西說：「你下去囑咐百姓，不可闖過來到我面前觀看，恐怕他們有多人死亡；

出19:21（NCV）耶和華對摩西說：「你下去警告人民，不可闖過來，到我這裡觀看，免得他們中間有很多人滅亡。

出19:21（CLV）上帝對摩西說：「你先下去囑咐民眾，叫他們不可因為好奇而闖過界線來觀看我，不然，他們都要死亡。

Exodus 19:21（KJV）And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

Exodus 19:21（NIV）and the LORD said to him,"Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the LORD and many of them perish.

出19:22（UCV）又叫親近我的祭司自潔，恐怕我忽然出來擊殺他們。」

出19:22（NCV）又叫那些親近耶和華的祭司分別為聖，恐怕耶和華忽然擊殺他們。」

出19:22（CLV）你又要吩咐接近我的祭司要潔淨自己，使自己成為聖潔。不然，我會忽然出來擊殺他們。」

Exodus 19:22（KJV）And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

Exodus 19:22（NIV）Even the priests, who approach the LORD, must consecrate themselves, or the LORD will break out against them."

出19:23（UCV）摩西對耶和華說：「百姓不能上西乃山，因為你已經囑咐我們說： 『要在山的四圍定界限，叫山成聖。』」

出19:23（NCV）摩西對耶和華說：「人民不能上西奈山，因為你曾經警告我們，說： 『要給山定界限，也要把山分別為聖。』」

出19:23（CLV）摩西說：「我已經依照你的話囑咐他們，不可闖進山麓周圍所定的界線，使這山分別出來歸給你了。」

Exodus 19:23（KJV）And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

Exodus 19:23（NIV）Moses said to the LORD, "The people cannot come up Mount Sinai, because you yourself warned us, 'Put limits around the mountain and set it apart as holy.'"

出19:24（UCV）耶和華對他說：「下去吧！你要和亞倫一同上來；只是祭司，和百姓不可闖過來上到我面前，恐怕我忽然出來擊殺他們。」

出19:24（NCV）耶和華對他說：「下去吧，你要和亞倫一起再上來，只是祭司，和人民都不可闖過來，上到我這裡，恐怕我忽然擊殺他們。」

出19:24（CLV）上帝對他說：「你還是再下去一次吧，回來的時候，把亞倫也一起帶來；然而，祭司和民眾仍要留在原來的地方，不得亂闖，免得我殺死他們。」

Exodus 19:24（KJV）And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

Exodus 19:24（NIV）The LORD replied,"Go down and bring Aaron up with you. But the priests and the people must not force their way through to come up to the LORD, or he will break out against them."

出19:25（UCV）於是摩西下到百姓那裡告訴他們。
