雅4:1（UCV）【與世俗為友就是與　神為敵】你們中間的爭戰、鬥毆，是從那裏來的呢？不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的嗎？

雅4:1（NCV）【與世俗為友就是與　神為敵】你們中間的爭執和打鬥是從哪裏來的呢？不是從你們肢體中好鬥的私慾來的嗎？

雅4:1（CLV）你們彼此衝突，互相鬥毆的起因是甚麼呢？還不是你們自私的慾望所燃起的戰火！

James 4:1（KJV）From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

James 4:1（NIV）【Submit Yourselves to God】 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?

雅4:2（UCV）你們貪戀，還是得不著；你們殺害嫉妒，又鬥毆爭戰，也不能得。你們得不著，是因為你們不求；

雅4:2（NCV）你們放縱貪慾，如果得不到，就殺人；你們嫉妒，如果一無所得，就打鬥爭執。你們得不到，因為你們不求；

雅4:2（CLV）你們貪心，卻得不著，就去殺人；你們千方百計去爭奪，妒火攻心，就動干戈；但到頭來，仍舊一無所得。其實你們得不到，是因為你們不向上帝祈求。

James 4:2（KJV）Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

James 4:2（NIV）You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.

雅4:3（UCV）你們求也得不著，是因為你們妄求，要浪費在你們的宴樂中。

雅4:3（NCV）你們求也得不到，因為你們的動機不良，要把所得的耗費在你們的私慾上。

雅4:3（CLV）不過，有時你們求也得不到，那是因為你們存心不良，為了滿足自己的慾望，只求奢華宴樂。

James 4:3（KJV）Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

James 4:3（NIV）When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

雅4:4（UCV）你們這些淫亂的人哪〔『淫亂的人』原文作『淫婦』〕！豈不知與世俗為友就是與　神為敵嗎？所以凡想要與世俗為友的，就是與　神為敵了。

雅4:4（NCV）淫亂的人哪，你們不知道與世俗為友，就是與　神為敵嗎？所以與世俗為友的，就成了　神的仇敵。

雅4:4（CLV）你們這些對主不忠的人啊！難道還不知道貪愛世界的，就是與上帝作對嗎？所以，凡是跟世俗打交道的，都是上帝的敵人了。

James 4:4（KJV）Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

James 4:4（NIV）You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

雅4:5（UCV）你們想經上所說是徒然的嗎？　神所賜住在我們裏面的靈，是戀愛至於嫉妒嗎？

雅4:5（NCV）聖經說：「　神愛他那安置在我們裏面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步」（或譯：「　神安置在我們裏面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步」），你們想這話是徒然的嗎？

雅4:5（CLV）聖經說：「上帝賜下住在我們心裡的聖靈，深愛我們到一個地步，要我們單單屬於祂。」你們以為這是空談嗎？

James 4:5（KJV）Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

James 4:5（NIV）Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely?

雅4:6（UCV）但祂賜更多的恩典，所以經上說，『　神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。』

雅4:6（NCV）但　神所賜的恩更大；所以聖經上說：『　神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。』

雅4:6（CLV）但上帝賜下更多的恩典，幫助我們排除私慾。所以聖經又說：「上帝反對驕傲的人，施恩給謙虛的人。」

James 4:6（KJV）But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

James 4:6（NIV）But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

雅4:7（UCV）【當抵擋魔鬼親近　神】故此，你們要順服　神。務要抵擋魔鬼，魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。

雅4:7（NCV）你們應當順服　神，抵擋魔鬼，魔鬼就逃避你們。

雅4:8（UCV）你們親近　神，　神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪，要潔淨你們的手；心懷二意的人哪！要清潔你們的心。

雅4:8（NCV）你們應當親近　神，　神就親近你們。罪人啊！要潔淨你們的手；三心兩意的人哪，要清潔你們的心。

James 4:8（KJV）Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

James 4:8（NIV）Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

雅4:9（UCV）你們要愁苦，悲哀，哭泣．將喜笑變作悲哀，歡樂變作愁悶。

雅4:9（NCV）你們要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣，把歡笑變為傷痛，把快樂變為憂愁。

雅4:9（CLV）你們要為自己的罪過而悲傷、憂愁、痛哭，轉歡笑為悲哀，變歡樂為愁苦。

James 4:9（KJV）Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

雅4:11（UCV）【不可彼此批評】弟兄們，你們不可彼此批評。人若批評弟兄，論斷弟兄，就是批評律法，論斷律法。你若論斷律法，就不是遵行律法，乃是判斷人的。

雅4:11（NCV）【不可彼此批評】弟兄們，不要互相毀謗；人若毀謗弟兄，或判斷弟兄，就是毀謗律法、判斷律法了。如果你判斷律法，就不是實行律法的人，而是審判官了。

雅4:11（CLV）弟兄姊妹啊，不要彼此批評；如果批評、判斷弟兄姊妹，就等如批評、判斷上帝的律法。如果你批判律法，就是以審判者自居，並不是遵行律法的人。

James 4:11（KJV）Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

James 4:11（NIV）Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

雅4:12（UCV）設立律法和判斷人的，只有一位，就是那能救人也能滅人的。你是誰，竟敢論斷別人呢？

雅4:12（NCV）立法的，審判的，只有一位，就是那能拯救人，也能毀滅人的　神；你這判斷鄰舍的，你是誰呢？

雅4:12（CLV）設立律法的和審判人的，只有一位，就是那能拯救人，也能毀滅人的上帝。你是誰，竟敢批評別人呢？

James 4:12（KJV）There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

James 4:12（NIV）There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?

雅4:13（UCV）【知道行善不去行的就是罪】嗐！你們有話說：『今天，明天我們要往某城裏去，在那裏住一年，作買賣得利。』

雅4:13（NCV）【不可自誇自恃】你們說：「今天或明天，我們要到某城去，在那裏住一年，作生意賺錢。」

雅4:13（CLV）你們有些人說：「今天或是明天，我們要往某城某地去，在那裡逗留一年半載；做生意，賺點錢。」

James 4:13（KJV） Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

James 4:13（NIV）【Boasting About Tomorrow】Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money."

雅4:14（UCV）其實明天如何，你們還不知道。你們的生命是甚麼呢？你們原來是一片雲霧，出現少時就不見了。

雅4:14（NCV）其實明天怎樣，你們並不知道。你們的生命是甚麼呢？你們本來是過眼雲煙，轉瞬之間就消逝了。

雅4:14（CLV）其實，你們根本不知道明天的事，你們的生命是甚麼呢？只不過像一片微薄的雲霧罷了，出現片刻，就無影無蹤了。

James 4:14（KJV）Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

James 4:14（NIV）Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

雅4:15（UCV）你們只當說：『主若願意，我們就可以活著，也可以作這事，或作那事。』

雅4:15（NCV）你們倒不如說：「主若願意，我們就可以活著，作這事或作那事。」

雅4:15（CLV）你們只當說：「如果主許可，我們就可以活著，或做這事，或做那事。」

James 4:15（KJV）For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

James 4:15（NIV）Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

雅4:16（UCV）現今你們竟以張狂誇口；凡這樣誇口都是惡的。

雅4:16（NCV）但現在你們竟然張狂自誇；這一切自誇，都是邪惡的。

James 4:16（KJV）But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

James 4:16（NIV）As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil.

雅4:17（UCV）人若知道行善，卻不去行，這就是他的罪了。

雅4:17（NCV）人若知道該行善事，卻不去行，這就是他的罪了。

James 4:17（KJV）Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
