　Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

Exodus 14：2（NIV）

　"Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon.

　法老必說、以色列人在地中繞迷了、曠野把他們困住了。

　法老必論到以色列人的事，說：『他們在這地走迷了路，曠野把他們困住了。』

　法老必定以為你們走迷了路，被困在荒野裏面。

　For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

　Pharaoh will think, 'The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.'

　我要使法老的心剛硬、他要追趕他們、我便在法老和他全軍身上得榮耀、埃及人就知道我是耶和華．於是以色列人這樣行了。

　我要使法老的心剛硬，他就必追趕他們；這樣，我就可以在法老身上和他的全軍身上得到榮耀，埃及人就必知道我是耶和華。」於是以色列人就這樣行了。

　我要再一次叫法老的心剛硬，使他派兵追趕你們。我要藉著法老和埃及軍兵的遭遇彰顯我的榮耀，好叫埃及人知道我是耶和華。」於是，民眾就照樣行了。

　And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

Exodus 14：4（NIV）

　And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD." So the Israelites did this.

　有人告訴埃及王說、百姓逃跑、法老和他的臣僕就向百姓變心、說、我們容以色列人去不再服事我們、這作的是甚麼事呢。

　有人告訴埃及王說：「以色列人逃走了。」法老和他的臣僕對以色列人的心就改變了，他們說：「我們讓以色列人離開，不再服事我們，我們作了甚麼事呢﹖」

　有人向埃及王報信，說以色列民眾走了三天還沒有回埃及的打算，並且還愈走愈遠，法老和他的官員便改變了主意，說：「我們怎麼可以讓以色列人就這樣離開我們，不再服事我們呢？」

　And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

　When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, "What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!"

　法老就豫備他的車輛、帶領軍兵同去．

　耶和華使埃及王法老的心剛硬、他就追趕以色列人、因為以色列人是昂然無懼的出埃及。

因為以色列是靠著耶和華高舉的手出來的。

　耶和華使埃及王法老的心剛硬，法老就追趕以色列人；

　And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

　The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly.

　埃及人追趕他們．法老一切的馬匹、車輛、馬兵、與軍兵就在海邊上靠近比哈希錄對著巴力洗分、在他們安營的地方追上了。◎

　埃及人追趕他們，法老所有的馬匹、戰車和他的馬兵與軍隊，就在海邊，靠近比．哈希錄，對著巴力．洗分他們安營的地方追上了他們。

　因此，埃及大軍便傾巢而出，大軍浩浩蕩蕩沿著海邊猛追，終於在比哈希錄附近的巴力洗分追上了正在那裏安營的以色列人。

　But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

　Didn't we say to you in Egypt, 'Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!"

　Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt."
