申 17:1--國語和合本

 凡有殘疾、或有甚麼惡病的牛羊、你都不可獻給耶和華你的 神、因為這是耶和華你 神所憎惡的。◎

申 17:1--中文新譯本

 有殘疾,或有甚麼缺點的牛羊,都不可獻給耶和華你的 神,因為這是耶和華你的 神所憎惡的。

 「不要把有病或殘疾的牛羊獻給主你的上帝,這是祂所厭惡的。

 Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

申 17:8--國語和合本

 你城中若起了爭訟的事、或因流血、或因爭競、或因毆打、是你難斷的案件、你就當起來、往耶和華你 神所選擇的地方、

 在你的城裏如果有甚麼爭訟的事:或因流血,或是訴訟,或是毆打,是你很難處決的案件,你就要起來,上到耶和華你的 神選擇的地方,

 倘若案件過於複雜,你不懂得怎樣處理,例如謀殺、訴訟、攻擊他人身體等,你就當把案件帶到主你上帝的聖所去,

 倘若被告人不肯接受主所委派的祭司或審判官的決定,就應把他處死;這樣的罪人是應當剷除的。

The King

申 17:14--國語和合本

 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
