當以愚昧懶惰人為戒

(箴 26:1-16)

 

箴 26:1CUV

 夏天落雪、收割時下雨、都不相宜.愚昧人得尊榮、也是如此。

箴 26:1NCV

 夏天落雪,收割時下雨,都不合宜;照樣,愚昧人獲得尊榮,也不合宜。

 夏天降雪,秋收下雨,都不合時令;愚昧人獲得光榮也不合宜。

 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.

 Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool.

 

箴 26:2CUV

 麻雀往來、燕子翻飛、這樣、無故的咒詛、也必不臨到。

 麻雀怎樣飛來飛去,燕子怎樣翻飛;照樣,無故的咒詛也不會臨到人。

提防毀謗及詭詐的人

(箴 26:17-28)

 過路被事激動、管理不干己的爭競、好像人揪住狗耳。

 過路的人被激怒,去干涉與自己無關的爭執,就像人揪住狗的耳朵。

 好管閒事,把自己牽涉進紛爭裏的,就好像動手揪著狗的耳朵一樣。

 He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

 Like one who seizes a dog by the ears is a passer-by who meddles in a quarrel not his own.

 

箴 26:18CUV

 人欺凌鄰舍、卻說、我豈不是戲耍麼.他就像瘋狂的人、拋擲火把、利箭、與殺人的兵器。〔『殺人的兵器』原文作『死亡』〕

 人欺騙了鄰舍,卻說:「我不過是開玩笑罷了。」他就像瘋狂的人,投擲火把、利箭和殺人的武器。
