創32:1(CUV雅各仍舊行路、 神的使者遇見他。

創32:1(CLV雅各繼續前行,在途中遇見上帝的使者。

創32:2(CUV雅各看見他們就說、這是 神的軍兵.於是給那地方起名叫瑪哈念。〔就是『二軍兵』的意思〕

創32:2(NCV雅各看見他們,就說:「這是 神的軍隊。」於是給那地方起名叫瑪哈念

創32:13(CUV當夜、雅各在那裏住宿、就從他所有的物中拿禮物要送給他哥哥以掃

創32:13(NCV那天晚上,雅各在那裏過夜。然後從他所擁有的畜中,取出一部分,作為給他哥哥以掃的禮物,

創32:13(CLV那天晚上,雅各就在那裏歇宿,又預備好送給哥哥以掃的禮物:

創32:14(CUV母山羊二百隻、公山羊二十隻、母綿羊二百隻、公綿羊二十隻、

創32:18(CUV你就說、是你僕人雅各的、是送給我主以掃的禮物、他自己也在我們後邊。

創32:28(CUV那人說、你的名不要再叫雅各 、要叫以色列、因為你與 神與人較力、都得了勝。

創32:28(NCV那人說:「你的名字不要再叫雅各,要叫以色列,因為你與 神與人較力,都得了勝。」

創32:28(CLV那人說:「那麼,你以後不要再叫雅各了,你要叫以色列;因為你跟上帝和人的角力都得勝了。」

創32:29(CUV雅各問他說、請將你的名告訴我.那人說、何必問我的名.於是在那裏給雅各祝福。

Jacob WrestlesWith God(Ge 32:22-32

Genesis 32:22(KJV)And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.

Genesis 32:22(NIV)That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.

Genesis 32:23(KJV)And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.

 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon.
