Exodus 1:19(NIV) The midwives answered Pharaoh, "Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive." |
Exodus 1:20(KJV) Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. |

Exodus 1:21(KJV) And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. |
