出13:1(CUV)耶和華曉諭 摩西說、

出13:1(NCV)耶和華告訴 摩西說:

出13:1(CLV)上帝吩咐 摩西向民眾頒佈以下的訓令:

出13:2(CUV)以色列 中凡頭生的、無論是人是牲畜、都是我的、要分別為聖歸我。

出13:2(NCV)「在 以色列人中,你要把所有頭生的都分別為聖歸我;無論是人或是牲畜,凡是頭生的都是我的。」

出13:2(CLV) 以色列中凡是最先出生的,不論是人或是牲畜,都是屬於我的,因此要分別出來歸給我。」

 

 

不可以吃帶酵的食物

(出13:3-10

出13:3(CUV)摩西 對百姓說、你們要記念從埃及為奴之家出來的這日、因為耶和華用大能的手將你們從這地方領出來.有酵的餅都不可喫。

出13:3(NCV)摩西 對人民說:「你們要記念這一天,就是從埃及為奴之家出來的這一天,因為耶和華用大能的手把你們從這裏領出來;所以有酵之物都不可以吃。

出13:3(CLV)摩西 對民眾說:「你們要記住離開埃及的這一天,因為上帝用大能的神蹟把你們從為奴之地領出來。你們也要緊記不可以吃帶酵的食物。

進迦南地以後的教導

出13:11(NCV)「日後,耶和華照著他向你和你的列祖所起的誓,將你領進迦南人之地,把這地賜給你之後,

出13:11(CLV)當上帝實現向你們祖先所許下的承諾,把你們領進迦南地以後,

出13:12(CUV)那時你要將一切頭生的、並牲畜中頭生的、歸給耶和華.公的都要屬耶和華。

出13:12(NCV)你要把所有頭生的奉獻給耶和華,也要把你一切牲畜中所有頭生的小牲口奉獻給耶和華;公的都屬耶和華。

出13:12(CLV)你們就要把所有最先出生的男孩和雄性的牲畜,都歸給上帝,這一切本來就是祂的。

出13:13(CUV)凡頭生的驢、你要用羊羔代贖、若不代贖、就要打折他的頸項.凡你兒子中頭生的都要贖出來。

出13:13(NCV)凡是頭生的驢,你要用羊羔代贖;如果你不代贖,就要打斷牠的頸項;凡是你兒子中頭生的人,你都要代贖。

出13:13(CLV)所有最先出生的驢,必須用羊羔贖回,不然的話,就要把牠殺掉;然而,最先出生的男嬰,卻一定要用錢贖回。

出13:14(CUV)日後、你的兒子問你說、這是甚麼意思。你就說、耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及為奴之家領出來。

出13:14(NCV)日後你的兒子若是問你們:『這是甚麼意思﹖』你就要回答他:『耶和華曾經用大能的手把我們從 埃及為奴之家領出來。

出13:15(CUV)那時法老幾乎不容我們去、耶和華就把埃及地所有頭生的、無論是人是牲畜、都殺了、因此我把一切頭生的公牲畜獻給耶和華為祭、但將頭生的兒子都贖出來。

出13:15(NCV)那時法老心裏鋼硬,不讓我們離開,耶和華就把埃及地所有頭生的,無論是人或是牲畜都殺了;所以,我把所有頭生的公牲口都獻給耶和華為祭;但我所有頭生的兒子,卻都要代贖回來。

出13:15(CLV)法老不肯釋放我們,所以上帝就把埃及所有最先出生的,不論人或是牲畜,全都殺掉,卻保存了我們長子的性命。因此,我們把所有最先出生的雄性牲畜當作祭牲獻給上帝,但長子我們卻要贖回來。』

出13:17(CUV)法老容百姓去的時候、非利士地的道路雖近、 神卻不領他們從那裏走、因為 神說、恐怕百姓遇見打仗後悔、就回埃及去。

出13:17(NCV)法老讓人民離開的時候,雖然非利士的路很近, 神卻不領他們從那裏走,因為 神說:「恐怕百姓看見戰爭而後悔,就回埃及去。」

出13:17(CLV)以色列人出了埃及以後,原本可以越過非利士迦南去,這是捷徑,可是上帝卻不領他們走這條路,因為恐怕他們遇上敵人就懼怕,要折返埃及去。

8出13:18(CUV)所以 神領百姓繞道而行、走海曠野的路.以色列人出埃及地、都帶著兵器上去。

Consecration of the Firstborn

Ex 13:1-16

Exodus 13:1(KJV)And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Exodus 13:2(KJV)Sanctifyunto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

Exodus 13:2(NIV)"Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal."

Exodus 13:3(KJV)And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

Exodus 13:3(NIV)Then Moses said to the people, "Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the LORD brought you out of it with a mighty hand. Eat nothing containing yeast.

Exodus 13:4(KJV)This day came ye out in the month Abib.

Exodus 13:4(NIV)Today, in the month of Abib, you are leaving.

Exodus 13:5(KJV)And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

Exodus 13:5(NIV)When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites--the land he swore to your forefathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey--you are to observe this ceremony in this month:

Exodus 13:6(KJV)Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

Exodus 13:6(NIV)For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival to the LORD.

Exodus 13:7(KJV)Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

Exodus 13:7(NIV)Eat unleavened bread during those seven days; nothing with yeast in it is to be seen among you, nor shall any yeast be seen anywhere within your borders.

Exodus 13:8(KJV)And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

Exodus 13:8(NIV)On that day tell your son, 'I do this because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.'

Exodus 13:9(KJV)And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

Exodus 13:9(NIV)This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.

Exodus 13:10(KJV)Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

Exodus 13:10(NIV)You must keep this ordinance at the appointed time year after year.

Exodus 13:11(KJV)And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,

Exodus 13:11(NIV)"After the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites and gives it to you, as he promised on oath to you and your forefathers,

Exodus 13:12(KJV)That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD's.

Exodus 13:12(NIV)you are to give over to the LORD the first offspring of every womb. All the firstborn males of your livestock belong to the LORD.

Exodus 13:13(KJV)And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.

Exodus 13:13(NIV)Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem every firstborn among your sons.

Exodus 13:14(KJV)And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

Exodus 13:14(NIV)"In days to come, when your son asks you, 'What does this mean?' say to him, 'With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Exodus 13:15(KJV)And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

Exodus 13:15(NIV)When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed every firstborn in Egypt, both man and animal. This is why I sacrifice to the LORD the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons.'

Exodus 13:16(KJV)And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

Exodus 13:16(NIV)And it will be like a sign on your hand and a symbol on your forehead that the LORD brought us out of Egypt with his mighty hand."

 

Crossing the Sea(Ex 13:17-22

Exodus 13:17(KJV)And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said,Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

Exodus 13:17(NIV)When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt."

Exodus 13:18(KJV)But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 13:18(NIV)So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle.

Exodus 13:19(KJV)And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.

Exodus 13:19(NIV)Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the sons of Israel swear an oath. He had said, "God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place."

Exodus 13:20(KJV)And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

Exodus 13:20(NIV)After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert.

 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.
