利13:1(CLV)主對摩西亞倫說:

利13:2(CUV)人的肉皮上若長了癤子、或長了癬、或長了火斑、在他肉皮上成了大痲瘋的災病、就要將他帶到祭司 亞倫、或亞倫作祭司的一個子孫面前.

利13:2(NCV)「如果有人在皮肉上生了瘤,或癬,或火斑,後來皮肉變成了大痲風病症〔本章病名多不能確定它們的學名。傳統翻譯作『痲風』的希伯來字,本章用來形容不同的皮膚病症〕,就要把他帶到一個作祭司的 亞倫子孫那裏。

利13:2(CLV)「倘若一個人身上長了腫瘡、癬疥或火斑,有患痲瘋的病徵,就應當將他帶到亞倫或其他的祭司那裏去,

利13:3(CUV)祭司要察看肉皮上的災病.若災病處的毛、已經變白、災病的現象、深於肉上的皮、這便是大痲瘋的災病.祭司要察看他、定他為不潔淨。

利13:3(NCV)祭司要察看皮肉上的病症;如果患處的毛已經變白〔『白』或譯:『較其他皮肉色澤顯然為深』〕,病症的現象又深透於下的肉,就是大痲風病症,祭司發現這樣,就要宣布他為不潔淨。

利13:3(CLV)祭司要察看他身上的病徵:假如患處上面的毛已變為白色,而患處也深陷的時候,這人便是患了痲瘋;祭司察看以後,就當宣佈他是不潔淨的。

利13:4(CUV)若火斑在他肉皮上是白的、現象不深於皮、其上的毛也沒有變白、祭司就要將有災病的人關鎖七天.

利13:4(NCV)火斑若是在他的皮肉上發白,但沒有深透皮膚的現象,上面的毛也沒有變白,祭司就要把患者隔離七天。

利13:4(CLV)如果他身上的火斑發白,但患處並不深陷,其上的毛也沒有轉白,祭司要把這人隔離七天。

利13:5(CUV)第七天祭司要察看他、若看災病止住了、沒有在皮上發散、祭司還要將他關鎖七天.

利13:5(NCV)到了第七天,祭司要察看他,如果看見病情止住了,皮上的患處沒有蔓延,祭司還要把他再隔離七天。

利13:5(CLV)到了第七天,再查看這人,倘若看見患處沒有甚麼改變,病患也沒有蔓延,祭司應當把這人多隔離七天。

利13:6(CUV)第七天祭司要再察看他、若災病發暗、而且沒有在皮上發散、祭司要定他為潔淨、原來是癬.那人就要洗衣服、得為潔淨。

利13:6(NCV)到了第七天,祭司要再察看他;如果看見患處色澤變淡,也沒有在皮上蔓延,祭司就要宣布他為潔淨,這不過是癬;他洗淨衣服,就得潔淨了。

利13:6(CLV)七天之後,祭司要再查看一下,假如患處色澤轉淡,病患也沒有蔓延,祭司就要宣佈這人為潔淨的;他所患的只不過是癬,他只要洗潔衣物,便可得到潔淨。

利13:7(CUV)但他為得潔淨、將身體給祭司察看以後、癬若在皮上發散開了、他要再將身體給祭司察看.

利13:7(NCV)但是祭司察看,宣布他潔淨以後,癬若是在皮上蔓延,他就要再次給祭司察看。

利13:7(CLV)但如果在祭司宣告他潔淨後,癬又繼續蔓延的話,這人必須再去見祭司。

利13:8(CUV)祭司要察看.癬若在皮上發散、就要定他為不潔淨、是大痲瘋。

利13:11(CLV)這人就是患了慢性的痲瘋病,祭司要宣佈他為不潔淨;無須再受隔離檢查,因為他已經是不潔淨的了。

利13:12(CUV)大痲瘋若在皮上四外發散、長滿了患災病人的皮、據祭司察看、從頭到腳無處不有、

利13:12(NCV)如果祭司認為痲風病已在皮上蔓延,從頭到腳遮滿了患病者全身的皮

利13:12(CLV)但如果祭司看見痲瘋不斷擴散,從頭到腳,遍佈全身,

利13:13(CUV)祭司就要察看.全身的肉、若長滿了大痲瘋、就要定那患災病的為潔淨、全身都變為白、他乃潔淨了。

利13:13(NCV)那麼祭司就要察看;如果看見痲風布滿了他的全身,祭司就要宣布那患病者為潔淨;因為全身變白,就算是潔淨。

利13:13(CLV)祭司再察看後就應當宣佈這人為潔淨的,因為他全身變白。

利13:14(CUV)但紅肉幾時顯在他的身上、就幾時不潔淨。

利13:14(NCV)但他身上甚麼時候出現紅腫的肉,他就成為不潔淨。

利13:14(CLV)但假如祭司在他身上發現了任何潰爛的肉,他便成為不潔淨,因為潰爛的肉證明這人實在是患了痲瘋。

利13:15(CUV)祭司一看那紅肉、就定他為不潔淨.紅肉本是不潔淨、是大痲瘋。

利13:15(NCV)祭司發現那紅腫的肉,就要宣布他為不潔淨;紅腫的肉原來是不潔淨的,是大痲風。

利13:16(CUV)紅肉若復原、又變白了、他就要來見祭司.

利13:16(NCV)但紅腫的肉若是再復原,又變成白,他就要到祭司那裏,

利13:17(CUV)祭司要察看.災病處若變白了、祭司就要定那患災病的為潔淨、他乃潔淨了。

利13:19(NCV)但在長瘡之處又起了白色浮腫,或是白中帶紅的火斑,他就要給祭司察看。

利13:20(CUV)祭司要察看.若現象窪於皮、其上的毛也變白了、就要定他為不潔淨、是大痲瘋的災病發在瘡中。

利13:20(NCV)祭司要察看;如果發現有深透皮膚的現象,上面的毛也變白了,祭司就要宣布他為不潔淨;這就是在瘡中發作出來的痲風病。

利13:20(CLV)祭司察看以後,如果發覺患處深陷,其上的毛又發白,祭司就當宣告他為不潔淨的,因為痲瘋從瘡裏發出來了。

利13:21(CUV)祭司若察看、其上沒有白毛、也沒有窪於皮、乃是發暗.就要將他關鎖七天.

利13:21(NCV)但如果祭司察看病情,看見上面沒有白毛,也沒有深透皮膚,只是發暗而已,祭司就要把他隔離七天;

利13:21(CLV)但倘若祭司察看後,發現其上沒有白毛,患處也沒有深陷,而且肉色已經變淡,祭司便要把他隔離七天;

利13:22(CUV)若在皮上發散開了、祭司就要定他為不潔淨、是災病。

利13:22(NCV)如果在皮膚上蔓延,祭司就要宣布他為不潔淨;這就是痲風病。

利13:22(CLV)但倘若在這期間病狀繼續蔓延,祭司就要宣佈他是患上了痲瘋,是不潔淨的。

利13:23(CUV)火斑若在原處止住、沒有發散、便是瘡的痕跡、祭司就要定他為潔淨。

利13:25(CUV)祭司就要察看.火斑中的毛若變白了、現象又深於皮、是大痲瘋在火毒中發出、就要定他為不潔淨、是大痲瘋的災病。

利13:25(NCV)祭司就要察看病情;如果發現火斑中的毛變白了,又有深透皮膚的現象,這就是從發炎發作出來的大痲風。祭司就要宣布他為不潔淨;這是痲風病。

利13:25(CLV)祭司便應當察看他的患處,倘若火斑上的毛呈現白色,患處深陷,這人便是患上了痲瘋;痲瘋已從火傷之處發散出來。祭司要宣佈這人是患上了痲瘋,是不潔淨的。

利13:26(CUV)但是祭司察看.在火斑中若沒有白毛、也沒有窪於皮、乃是發暗、就要將他關鎖七天.

利13:26(NCV)但如果祭司察看病情,看見火斑中沒有白毛,也沒有深透皮膚,只是發暗而已,祭司就要把他隔離七天。

利13:26(CLV)不過,倘若祭司看過他的傷處,上面的毛沒有轉白,患處也沒有深陷,顏色較暗,這樣,祭司應當把他隔離七天;

利13:27(CUV)到第七天祭司要察看他、火斑若在皮上發散開了、就要定他為不潔淨、是大痲瘋的災病。

利13:28(CLV)如果火斑沒有蔓延,而且顏色也變淡,這便只是燒傷所引起的腫瘡;祭司要宣佈他是潔淨的,因為這只不過是燒傷的疤痕。

利13:29(CUV)無論男女、若在頭上有災病、或是男人鬍鬚上有災病、

利13:29(NCV)無論男女,如果在頭上或是鬍鬚上受到感染,

利13:29(CLV)無論男女,倘若頭上或頰上長了瘡疾,祭司就要察看患處,假如患處深陷,上面的毛細而且呈現黃色,這樣,祭司就要宣佈這人是不潔淨的;他患的是癬疥,是頭或頰上的痲瘋。

利13:30(CUV)祭司就要察看、這災病現象若深於皮、其間有細黃毛、就要定他為不潔淨.這是頭疥、是頭上、或是鬍鬚上的大痲瘋。

利13:30(NCV)祭司要察看那病;如果發現有深透皮膚的現象,而且還有黃色細毛,祭司就要宣布他為不潔淨,這是癩痢,是頭上或是鬍鬚上的痲風病。

利13:30(CLV)併入第29 節中

利13:31(CUV)祭司若察看頭疥的災病、現象不深於皮、其間也沒有黑毛、就要將長頭疥災病的關鎖七天.

利13:31(NCV)祭司察看癩痢的患者;如果看見沒有深透皮膚的現象,那裏也沒有黑毛,祭司就要把那患癩痢的人隔離七天。

利13:31(CLV)但假若祭司察看癬疥的患處,發現那地方並沒有深陷,上面也沒有黃毛,祭司便應該把這患癬疥的人隔離七天。

利13:32(CUV)第七天祭司要察看災病、若頭疥沒有發散、其間也沒有黃毛、頭疥的現象不深於皮、

利13:32(NCV)到了第七天,祭司要察看患處;如果看見癩痢沒有蔓延,那裏也沒有黃毛,癩痢也沒有深透皮膚的現象,

利13:33(CUV)那人就要剃去鬚髮、但他不可剃頭疥之處、祭司要將那長頭疥的、再關鎖七天.

利13:33(NCV)那人就要剃去鬚髮,癩痢的地方卻不可剃;祭司要把那患癩痢的人再隔離七天。

利13:33(CLV)這人就應當剃去頭髮和鬍子,但卻不可剃長癬疥的那部分;祭司要把他再隔離七天。

利13:34(CUV)第七天祭司要察看頭疥、頭疥若沒有在皮上發散、現象也不深於皮、就要定他為潔淨、他要洗衣服、便成為潔淨。

利13:34(NCV)到了第七天,祭司要再察看那癩痢;如果看見癩痢在皮上沒有蔓延,也沒有深透皮膚的現象,祭司就要宣布他為潔淨;他洗淨衣服,就潔淨了。

利13:36(CLV)這樣,祭司要查看這人,假如癬疥真是在皮膚上蔓延,祭司就不必再找尋黃毛,要宣佈他是不潔淨的。

利13:37(CUV)祭司若看頭疥已經止住、其間也長了黑毛、頭疥已然痊愈、那人是潔淨了、就要定他為潔淨。

利13:42(CLV)但假如在禿頭或光禿的前額上長出紅白色的瘡來,便是痲瘋在禿頭或光禿的前額長出來了。

利13:43(CUV)祭司就要察看.他起的那災病若在頭禿處、或是頂門禿處、有白中帶紅的、像肉皮上大痲瘋的現象.

利13:43(NCV)祭司就要察看,如果發現在他頭頂禿處或是額前禿處,有白中帶紅的浮腫病症,像皮肉上痲風病的現象,

利13:43(CLV)祭司要察看這人;倘若患處的腫瘡是紅白色的,像別處患痲瘋的病徵一樣,

利13:44(CUV)那人就是長大痲瘋不潔淨的、祭司總要定他為不潔淨、他的災病是在頭上。

利13:44(NCV)那人就是患了痲風病,就不潔淨;祭司要宣布他為不潔淨,那人頭上染了痲風。

利13:44(CLV)這人便是患了痲瘋,是不潔淨的。祭司要宣佈他為不潔淨的。

利13:45(CUV)身上有長大痲瘋災病的、他的衣服要撕裂、也要蓬頭散髮、蒙上唇、喊叫說、不潔淨了、不潔淨了。

利13:45(NCV)身上患有痲風病的人,要撕裂自已的衣服,披頭散髮,遮蓋上唇喊叫:『不潔淨!不潔淨!』

利13:45(CLV)患痲瘋的人在街上走的時候,應當撕爛衣服,披散頭髮,蒙著上唇,喊叫說﹕『不潔淨的!不潔淨的!』

利13:46(CUV)災病在他身上的日子、他便是不潔淨。他既是不潔淨、就要獨居營外。

利13:46(NCV)在他患病的日子裏,他是不潔淨的;他既然不潔淨,就要獨居,住在營外。

利13:47(CUV)染了大痲瘋災病的衣服、無論是羊毛衣服、是麻布衣服、

利13:47(NCV)染了痲風病的衣服,無論是羊毛衣服,是麻布衣服;

利13:47(CLV)假如衣物上有沾染過痲瘋病的跡象,不論衣服是毛質或是麻質,是皮革或是任何用皮革製成的物品,若在其上發現有綠色或紅色的跡象,便很可能是痲瘋菌,應當拿給祭司看看。

利13:48(CUV)無論是在經上、在緯上、是麻布的、是羊毛的、是在皮子上、或在皮子作的甚麼物件上、

利13:48(NCV)無論是在編結的或紡織的;是麻布的或是羊毛的;是皮子或是皮子做成的任何物件;

利13:48(CLV)併入第47 節中

利13:49(CUV)或在衣服上、皮子上、經上、緯上、或在皮子作的甚麼物件上、這災病若是發綠、或是發紅、是大痳瘋的災病、要給祭司察看。

利13:49(NCV)病症若是衣服或皮子、編結物或紡織物,或任何皮子做成的器具上發綠或發紅,那就是發霉〔『 發霉』與『惡性皮膚病是同一希伯來字〕的現象,要給祭司察看。

利13:51(NCV)到了第七天,祭司要察看那病症;如果那病症在衣服、編結物、紡織、皮子,或是任何皮子做成的物件上蔓延,這就是頑惡的霉,那件物件就不潔淨了。

利13:51(CLV)第七天,他要察看那斑漬,倘若斑漬在衣物上蔓延開來,就是惡性痲瘋的現象,是不潔淨的。

 

利13:52(CUV)那染了災病的衣服、或是經上、緯上、羊毛上、痲衣上、或是皮子作的甚麼物件上、他都要焚燒.因為這是蠶食的大痲瘋、必在火中焚燒。

利13:52(NCV)染了病症的衣服,無論是編結的或是紡織的,是羊毛或是痲布,或任何皮子做的物件,都要燒掉。因為那是頑惡的霉,所以要用火燒掉。

利13:52(CLV)不論衣物是編成的,是織成,是羊毛造的,是麻造的,或有任何的皮製物品,倘若發現有這種跡象,一定要把它用火燒掉,因為它有惡性的痲瘋菌。

利13:53(CUV)祭司要察看、若災病在衣服上、經上、緯上、或是皮子作的甚麼物件上、沒有發散.

利13:53(NCV)但如果祭司察看病症,在衣服、編結物、紡織物,或是皮子做的任何物件上,沒有蔓延,

利13:53(CLV)倘若祭司察看衣物,不論是編成的或是織成的,或是任何皮具,發覺那斑漬沒有散開,

利13:54(CUV)祭司就要吩咐他們、把染了災病的物件洗了、再關鎖七天.

利13:54(NCV)祭司就要吩咐人把它洗淨,然後再隔離七天。

利13:54(CLV)這樣,祭司就要吩咐他們洗滌染有斑漬的物件,也要把它們多隔離七天。

利13:55(CUV)洗過以後、祭司要察看.那物件若沒有變色、災病也沒有消散、那物件就不潔淨、是透重的災病、無論正面、反面、都要在火中焚燒。

利13:55(NCV)洗淨以後,祭司要察看;如果看見那病症沒有轉變,雖然沒有蔓延,那物件仍是不潔淨;要用火把它燒掉,因為裏外都腐蝕了。

利13:55(CLV)物件洗過以後,祭司要再次察看,倘若那斑漬沒有變色,雖然沒有蔓延,這物件也是不潔淨的;你們應該把它燒掉,因為這物件裏裏外外都被侵蝕了;

利13:56(CUV)洗過以後、祭司要察看.若見那災病發暗、他就要把那災病從衣服上、皮子上、經上、緯上、都撕去。

Lev 13:1(KJV)And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

Lev 13:2(KJV)When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or untoone of his sons the priests:

Lev 13:2(NIV)"When anyone has a swelling or a rash or a bright spot on his skin that may become an infectious skin disease, he must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons who is a priest.

Lev 13:3(KJV)And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

Lev 13:12(KJV)And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

Lev 13:14(KJV)But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

Lev 13:14(NIV)But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he will be unclean.

Lev 13:15(KJV)And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

Lev 13:15(NIV)When the priest sees the raw flesh, he shall pronounce him unclean. The raw flesh is unclean; he has an infectious disease.

Lev 13:16(KJV)Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

Lev 13:17(KJV)And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

Lev 13:18(KJV)The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

Lev 13:20(KJV)And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

Lev 13:20(NIV)The priest is to examine it, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an infectious skin disease that has broken out where the boil was.

Lev 13:21(KJV)But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no whitehairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

Lev 13:30(NIV)the priest is to examine the sore, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it is yellow and thin, the priest shall pronounce that person unclean; it is an itch, an infectious disease of the head or chin.

Lev 13:31(KJV)And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin,and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

Lev 13:36(NIV)the priest is to examine him, and if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest does not need to look for yellow hair; the person is unclean.

Lev 13:37(KJV)But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

Lev 13:37(NIV)If, however, in his judgment it is unchanged and black hair has grown in it, the itch is healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

Lev 13:38(KJV)If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

Lev 13:38(NIV)"When a man or woman has white spots on the skin,

Lev 13:39(KJV)Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

Lev 13:39(NIV)the priest is to examine them, and if the spots are dull white, it is a harmless rash that has broken out on the skin; that person is clean.

Lev 13:40(KJV)And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

Lev 13:40(NIV)"When a man has lost his hair and is bald, he is clean.

Lev 13:41(KJV)And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

Lev 13:41(NIV)If he has lost his hair from the front of his scalp and has a bald forehead, he is clean.

Lev 13:42(KJV)And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

Lev 13:42(NIV)But if he has a reddish-white sore on his bald head or forehead, it is an infectious disease breaking out on his head or forehead.

Lev 13:43(KJV)Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising ofthe sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

Lev 13:43(NIV)The priest is to examine him, and if the swollen sore on his head or forehead is reddish-white like an infectious skin disease,

Lev 13:44(KJV)He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

Lev 13:44(NIV)the man is diseased and is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean because of the sore on his head.

Lev 13:45(KJV)And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

Lev 13:45(NIV)"The person with such an infectious disease must wear torn clothes, let his hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of his face and cry out, 'Unclean! Unclean!'

Lev 13:46(KJV)All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

Lev 13:46(NIV)As long as he has the infection he remains unclean. He must live alone; he must live outside the camp.

 

Regulations About Mildew

Lev 13:47-59)

Lev 13:47(KJV)The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

Lev 13:47(NIV)"If any clothing is contaminated with mildew--any woolen or linen clothing,

Lev 13:48(KJV)Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

Lev 13:48(NIV)anywoven or knitted material of linen or wool, any leather or anything made of leather--

Lev 13:49(KJV)And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:

Lev 13:49(NIV)and if the contamination in the clothing, or leather, or woven or knitted material, or any leather article, is greenish or reddish, it is a spreading mildew and must be shown to the priest.

Lev 13:50(KJV)And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

Lev 13:50(NIV)The priest is to examine the mildew and isolate the affected article for seven days.

Lev 13:51(KJV)And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

Lev 13:51(NIV)On the seventh day he is to examine it, and if the mildew has spread in the clothing, or the woven or knitted material, or the leather, whatever its use, it is a destructive mildew; the article is unclean.

Lev 13:52(KJV)He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

Lev 13:52(NIV)He must burn up the clothing, or the woven or knitted material of wool or linen, or any leather article that has the contamination in it, becausethe mildew is destructive; the article must be burned up.

Lev 13:53(KJV)And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

Lev 13:53(NIV)"But if, when the priest examines it, the mildew has not spread in the clothing, or the woven or knitted material, or the leather article,

Lev 13:55(KJV)And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

Lev 13:55(NIV)After the affected article has been washed, the priest is to examine it, and if the mildew has not changed its appearance, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. Burn it with fire, whether the mildew has affected one side or the other.

Lev 13:56(KJV)And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

Lev 13:56(NIV)If, when the priest examines it, the mildew has faded after the article has been washed, he is to tear the contaminated part out of the clothing, or the leather, or the woven or knitted material.

Lev 13:57(KJV)And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

Lev 13:57(NIV)But if it reappears in the clothing, or in the woven or knitted material, or in the leather article, it is spreading, and whatever has the mildew must be burned with fire.

Lev 13:58(NIV)The clothing, or the woven or knitted material, or any leather article that has been washed and is rid of the mildew, must be washed again, and it will be clean."

Lev 13:59(KJV)This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

Lev 13:59(NIV)These are the regulations concerning contamination by mildew in woolen or linen clothing, woven or knitted material, or any leather article, for pronouncing them clean or unclean.
