拉1:1（CUV）波斯王古列元年、耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話、就激動 波斯王古列的心、使他下詔通告全國說、

拉1:1（NCV）波斯王古列元年，耶和華為要應驗他藉耶利米的口所說的話，就激動 波斯王古列的心靈，使他通令全國，傳達文告說：

拉1:1（CLV）波斯王塞魯士登基的第一年，上帝為了要應驗藉耶利米所說的預言，就感動 塞魯士王的心，使他向全國頒下一項文告（他還將這項文告記在國政大事錄裏，永遠保存）：

拉1:2（CUV）波斯王古列如此說、耶和華天上的　神、已將天下萬國賜給我．又囑咐我在 猶大的耶路撒冷、為他建造殿宇。

拉1:2（NCV）「波斯王古列這樣說：『耶和華天上的　神已經把地上萬國賜給我。他指派我在 猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。

拉1:2（CLV）「波斯王塞魯士說：『那一位把這龐大帝國賜給我的主天上的神，現在命令我在 猶大境內的耶路撒冷為祂建造一座聖殿。

Cyrus Helps the Exiles to Return

（EZR 1:1-11）

Ezra 1:1（KJV）Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

Ezra 1:1（NIV）In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing:

Ezra 1:2（KJV）Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
