尼1:1（CLV）以下是哈迦利亞的兒子尼希米的記述：波斯王亞達薛西二十年九月，我在 書珊宮中的時候，

尼1:2（CUV）那時、有我一個弟兄哈拿尼、同著幾個人從猶大來．我問他們那些被擄歸回剩下逃脫的 猶大人、和耶路撒冷的光景。

尼1:4（CLV）我聽見這消息以後，便坐下來痛哭，心中難過了好幾天。我在天上的上帝面前禁食禱告，說：

尼1:5（CUV）耶和華天上的　神、大而可畏的　神阿、你向愛你、守你誡命的人、守約施慈愛．

尼1:5（NCV）說：「耶和華天上的　神，偉大可畏的　神啊，你向那些愛你，遵守你誡命的人，守約施慈愛。

尼1:5（CLV）「主天上的上帝，大而可畏的上帝啊！你對那些愛你、順服你的人，向來是守約的，你還向他們大施憐愛；

尼1:6（CUV）願你睜眼看、側耳聽、你僕人晝夜在你面前為你眾僕人以色列民的祈禱、承認我們以色列人向你所犯的罪．我與我父家都有罪了．

Neh 1:1（KJV）The words of Neh emiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,

Neh 1:1（NIV）The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: In the month of Kislev in the twentieth year, while I was in the citadel of Susa,

Neh 1:2（KJV）That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.

Neh 1:2（NIV）Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem.

Neh 1:3（KJV）And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

Neh 1:3（NIV）They said to me, "Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire."

Neh 1:6（NIV）let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father's house, have committed against you.

Neh 1:7（KJV）We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

Neh 1:7（NIV）We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.

Neh 1:8（KJV）Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:

Neh 1:9（KJV）But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Neh 1:9（NIV）but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.'

Neh 1:10（KJV）Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.

Neh 1:10（NIV）"They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand.

Neh 1:11（KJV）O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

Neh 1:11（NIV）O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man." I was cupbearer to the king.
