賽1:1(NCV)在烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯和希西家作猶大王的時候,亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞看見異象,是關於猶大和耶路撒冷的:

賽1:4(NCV)嗐!犯罪的國,罪孽深重的子民,行惡的子孫,敗壞的兒女!他們離棄了耶和華,藐視以色列的聖者,他們轉離了他。

賽1:4(CLV)唉!好一個犯罪作惡的國家,好一個惡貫滿盈的民族啊!他們的祖先作惡多端,他們自己也多行不義。他們離棄主,藐視以色列的聖者,與祂疏遠。」

賽1:5CUV你們為甚麼屢次悖逆、還要受責打麼。你們已經滿頭疼痛、全心發昏。

賽1:11CUV耶和華說、你們所獻的許多祭物、與我何益呢.公綿羊的燔祭、和肥畜的脂油、我已經彀了.公牛的血、羊羔的血、公山羊的血、我都不喜悅。

賽1:21CUV可歎忠信的城、變為妓女.從前充滿了公平、公義居在其中、現今卻有兇手居住。

賽1:21(NCV)那忠貞的城,怎麼會變成妓女!她從前充滿公平,有公義居在其中,現在卻有兇手居住。

賽1:21(CLV)耶路撒冷本來是忠貞的妻子,現在卻竟然變為淫婦!從前這城滿有公義,現在卻住滿了殺人的狂徒;

賽1:22CUV你的銀子變為渣滓、你的酒用水攙對。

賽1:22(CLV)就像純淨的銀子變成了渣滓,美酒攙雜了水一樣。
