俄1（CUV）俄巴底亞得了耶和華的默示。論以東、說、我從耶和華那裏聽見信息、並有使者被差往列國去、 說、起來罷、一同起來與以東爭戰。●

俄1（NCV）俄巴底亞所見的異象。主耶和華指著以東這樣說：我們從耶和華那裏聽見了一個信息，有一位使者被派往列國去，說：「起來吧！我們起來與 以東爭戰。」●

俄1（CLV）主上帝在異象中，把以東的命運告訴俄巴底亞先知，於是他就把這事宣告出來：我從主那裏得到一個信息，就是上帝已經派遣使者到各國宣告說：「起來！我們一同進軍去毀滅以東吧！」●

俄3（CLV）你狂傲自欺，以為自己住在陡峭的山上，藏在深邃的巖穴裏，居高臨下，就可安枕無憂。你沾沾自喜地說： 『任誰也沒有本事上來把我攻下啊！』

俄4（CUV）你雖如大鷹高飛、在星宿之間搭窩、我必從那裏拉下你來．這是耶和華說的。

俄4（NCV）你雖如鷹高飛，在星宿之間搭窩，我也必從那裏把你拉下來。」這是耶和華的宣告。

俄4（CLV）我告訴你，就是你能像鷹一樣翱翔於天際，在星宿之間築巢棲身，我也可以把你拉下來！」這是主說的。

俄5（CUV）盜賊若來在你那裏、或強盜夜間而來、（你何竟被剪除）豈不偷竊直到彀了呢．摘葡萄的若來到你那裏、豈不剩下些葡萄呢。

俄5（NCV）「竊賊若來到你那裏，強盜若夜間來到，豈不會偷竊直到夠了呢？你將會怎樣被滅絕！摘葡萄的若來到你那裏，豈不只剩下幾粒 葡萄嗎？

俄10（CLV）你曾經以強暴對待同胞兄弟雅各，因此你必定淪落到羞辱纏身、萬劫不復的地步。

俄11（CUV）當外人擄掠雅各的財物、外邦人進入他的城門、為耶路撒冷拈鬮的日子、你竟站在一旁、像與他們同夥。

俄11（NCV）外地人劫掠雅各財物的日子，外族人進入他的城門，為耶路撒冷抽籤；那時你竟袖手旁觀，甚至好像他們中間的一分子！

俄11（CLV）外族人來掠奪以色列的財物，闖進耶路撒冷抽籤分配贓物的時候，你竟然袖手旁觀，像是跟他們一夥一樣。

俄17（NCV）但在錫安山上必有逃脫的人，那山必成為聖；雅各家必得回他們原有的產業。

俄17（CLV）然而，耶路撒冷必成為一個避難逃生的地方。以色列必重得自己的土地；

俄18（CUV）雅各家必成為大火．約瑟家必為火焰、以掃家必如碎秸、火必將他燒哪吞滅．以掃家必無餘剩的．這是耶和華說的。

俄18（NCV）雅各家必成為火，約瑟家必成為火燄；以掃家卻像碎秸，被它們焚燒吞滅，以掃家再沒有生還的人了。因為耶和華已經說了。

俄18（CLV）以東就像碎秸被如烈燄一樣的以色列所吞噬，一個也不能逃脫。」這些話都是主說的。

俄19（CUV）南地的人、必得以掃山．高原的人必得非利士地、也得以法蓮地、和撒瑪利亞地．便雅憫人必得基列。

Obadiah 1:1（KJV）The vision of Obadiah iah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Obadiah 1:1（NIV）The vision of Obadiah. This is what the Sovereign LORD says about Edom--We have heard a message from the LORD: An envoy was sent to the nations to say, "Rise, and let us go against her for battle"--

Obadiah 1:2（KJV）Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

Obadiah 1:2（NIV）"See, I will make you small among the nations; you will be utterly despised.

Obadiah 1:3（KJV）The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Obadiah 1:3（NIV）The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks and make your home on the heights, you who say to yourself, 'Who can bring me down to the ground?'

Obadiah 1:6（KJV）How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!

Obadiah 1:6（NIV）But how Esau will be ransacked, his hidden treasures pillaged!

Obadiah 1:7（KJV）All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

Obadiah 1:7（NIV）All your allies will force you to the border; your friends will deceive and overpower you; those who eat your bread will set a trap for you, but you will not detect it.

Obadiah 1:8（KJV）Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

Obadiah 1:8（NIV）"In that day," declares the LORD, "will I not destroy the wise men of Edom, men of understanding in the mountains of Esau?

Obadiah 1:9（KJV）And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

Obadiah 1:9（NIV）Your warriors, O Teman, will be terrified, and everyone in Esau's mountains will be cut down in the slaughter.

Obadiah 1:10（KJV）For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

Obadiah 1:10（NIV）Because of the violence against your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame; you will be destroyed forever.

Obadiah 1:11（KJV）In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

Obadiah 1:11（NIV）On the day you stood aloof while strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.

Obadiah 1:12（KJV）But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

Obadiah 1:12（NIV）You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

Obadiah 1:13（KJV）Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

Obadiah 1:13（NIV）You should not march through the gates of my people in the day of their disaster, nor look down on them in their calamity in the day of their disaster, nor seize their wealth in the day of their disaster.

Obadiah 1:14（KJV）Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

Obadiah 1:14（NIV）You should not wait at the crossroads to cut down their fugitives, nor hand over their survivors in the day of their trouble.

Obadiah 1:15（KJV）For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Obadiah 1:15（NIV）"The day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.

Obadiah 1:16（KJV）For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Obadiah 1:16（NIV）Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been.

Obadiah 1:17（KJV）But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

Obadiah 1:17（NIV）But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will possess its inheritance.

Obadiah 1:18（KJV）And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

Obadiah 1:18（NIV）The house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame; the house of Esau will be stubble, and they will set it on fire and consume it. There will be no survivors from the house of Esau." The LORD has spoken.

Obadiah 1:19（KJV）And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

Obadiah 1:19（NIV）People from the Negev will occupy the mountains of Esau, and people from the foothills will possess the land of the Philistines. They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, and Benjamin will possess Gilead.

Obadiah 1:20（KJV）And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.

Obadiah 1:20（NIV）This company of Israelite exiles who are in Canaan will possess the land as far as Zarephath; the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the towns of the Negev.

Obadiah 1:21（KJV）And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

Obadiah 1:21（NIV）Deliverers will go up on Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the LORD'S.
