該1:1（NCV）大利烏王第二年六月一日，耶和華的話藉著哈該先知臨到撒拉鐵的兒子、 猶大省長所羅巴伯，和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞，說：

該1:1（CLV）以下是主在大利烏二年六月一日，藉著哈該先知向撒拉鐵的兒子， 猶大省長所羅巴伯，和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞所說的話。

該1:8（CUV）你們要上山取木料、建造這殿．我就因此喜樂、且得榮耀．這是耶和華說的。

該1:8（CLV）你們要上山伐木，重建聖殿，好叫我心裡歡喜，並且得著榮耀。

A Call to Build the House of the LORD

（Hag 1:1-15）

Haggai 1:1（KJV）In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai gai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

Haggai 1:1（NIV）In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest:

Haggai 1:2（KJV）Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying,This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.

Haggai 1:2（NIV）This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD'S house to be built.'"

Haggai 1:6（NIV）You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."

Haggai 1:7（KJV）Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

Haggai 1:7（NIV）This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

Haggai 1:8（KJV）Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

Haggai 1:8（NIV）Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.

Haggai 1:9（KJV）Ye looked for much, and lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts.Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

Haggai 1:9（NIV）"You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.

Haggai 1:10（KJV）Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

Haggai 1:10（NIV）Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.

Haggai 1:11（KJV）And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
