瑪1:2（NCV）耶和華說：「我愛你們。」你們卻說：「你怎樣愛了我們呢﹖」耶和華說：「以掃不是雅各的哥哥嗎﹖我卻愛雅各，

瑪1:2（CLV）主說：「我曾深深地愛過你們。」你們卻說：「你甚麼時候愛過我們呢？」主說：「以掃不是雅各的哥哥嗎？但我卻愛雅各，

瑪1:3（CUV）惡以掃、使他的山嶺荒涼、把他的地業交給曠野的野狗。

瑪1:6（CUV）藐視我名的祭司阿、萬軍之耶和華對你們說、兒子尊敬父親、僕人敬畏主人、我既為父親、尊敬我的在那裏呢．我既為主人、敬畏我的在那裏呢． 你們卻說、我們在何事上藐視你的名呢。

瑪1:6（NCV）萬軍之耶和華對你們說：「藐視我名的祭司啊！兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏主人。我若是父親，我該受的尊敬在哪裏呢？我若是主人，我應得的敬畏在哪裏呢？」你們卻說：「我們怎樣藐視了你的名呢？」

瑪1:6（CLV）萬軍之主對祭司說：「兒子應當尊敬父親，僕人應當敬畏主人。我是你們的父親，但你們對我的敬意在哪裏呢？我是你們的主人，但你們又何時敬畏過我呢？你們藐視我的名，卻又狡辯說： 『我們甚麼時候藐視過你的名呢？』

瑪1:7（CUV）你們將污穢的食物獻在我的壇上、且說、我們在何事上污穢你呢．因你們說、耶和華的桌子、是可藐視的。

瑪1:7（NCV）你們將污穢的食物獻在我的壇上，你們竟說：『我們怎樣污穢了你的壇呢﹖』因你們以為耶和華的桌子是可以藐視的。」

瑪1:7（CLV）你們把不潔的食物獻在我的祭壇上，還說：『我們甚麼時候獻上了不潔的祭物呢？』又說：『 輕視主的桌子又有甚麼大不了呢！』

瑪1:8（CUV）你們將瞎眼的獻為祭物、這不為惡麼．將瘸腿的有病的獻上、這不為惡麼．你獻給你的省長、他豈喜悅你、豈能看你的情面麼．這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

瑪1:8（NCV）萬軍之耶和華說：「你們把瞎眼的獻為祭，這不是惡嗎？你們把瘸腿的和有病的獻上，這不是罪嗎？你把這樣的 禮物獻給你的省長，他會喜歡你或是悅納你的禮物嗎？」

瑪1:8（CLV）你們拿瞎的、跛的和有病的來獻祭，難道這不是罪過嗎？你試試把這樣的東西送給你的省長，看他會不會高高興興地接納你的禮物！

瑪1:9（CUV）現在我勸你們懇求　神．他好施恩與我們．這妄獻的事、既由你們經手、他豈能看你們的情面麼．這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

瑪1:9（NCV）現在，你們要向　神求情，好使他恩待我們。這污穢的祭物，既是你們經手獻的，他還能悅納你們嗎？萬軍之耶和華說：

瑪1:9（CLV）你們求上帝看顧，期望得到恩惠，卻獻上這些不虔不敬的東西，祂又怎麼會垂聽你們的祈求呢？

瑪1:10（CUV）甚願你們中間有一人關上殿門、免得你們徒然在我壇上燒火。萬軍之耶和華說、我不喜悅你們、也不從你們手中收納供物。

瑪1:10（NCV）「真願你們當中有人把殿門關上，免得你們在我的壇上徒然點火。」萬軍之耶和華說： 「我不喜歡你們，也不從你們手中收納禮物。」

瑪1:10（CLV）我巴不得你們當中有人出來把殿門關上，好阻止你們獻上這些東西。因為我不喜歡你們，更不喜歡接納你們的祭物。

瑪1:11（CUV）萬軍之耶和華說、從日出之地到日落之處、我的名在外邦中、必尊為大．在各處、人必奉我的名燒香、獻潔淨的供物．因為我的名在外邦中必尊為大。●

瑪1:11（NCV）萬軍之耶和華說：「從日出到日落的地方，我的名在列國中為大；在各處都有人向我的名燒香，獻上潔淨的禮物，因為我的名在列國中為大。」●

瑪1:12（CUV）你們卻褻瀆我的名、說、耶和華的桌子是污穢的、其上的食物是可藐視的。

瑪1:12（NCV）萬軍之耶和華說：「你們卻褻瀆了我，因你們以為主的桌子是污穢的，桌上的食物也是可藐視的。

瑪1:12（CLV）可是，你們卻侮慢我的名，竟然說我的桌子是污穢的，獻上甚麼都沒有關係。

瑪1:13（CUV）你們又說、這些事何等煩瑣．並嗤之以鼻．這是萬軍之耶和華說的。你們把搶奪的、瘸腿的、有病的、拿來獻上為祭。我豈能從你們手中收納呢．這是耶和華說的。

瑪1:13（NCV）你們又說：『唉，真麻煩！』你們就嗤之以鼻。」耶和華說：「你們把搶來的、瘸腿的和有病的帶來作禮物，我怎能從你們的手中收受呢？」

瑪1:13（CLV）你們說：『事奉主，實在是太麻煩了。』主說：『 你們把搶來的、跛的和有病的獻給我，我又怎麼會接納呢？』

瑪1:14（CUV）行詭詐的在群中有公羊、他許願卻用有殘疾的獻給主、這人是可咒詛的．因為我是大君王、我的名在外邦中是可畏的．這是萬軍之耶和華說的。●

瑪1:14（NCV）萬軍之耶和華說：「凡以家畜中公的許了願，卻又詭詐地拿有殘疾的獻給主，那人當受咒詛；因為我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可敬畏的。」●

瑪1:14（CLV）凡是應許獻上公羊，卻拿了傷殘的來代替的，這些人都該受咒詛！我是大君王，就是外族人也懂得敬畏我的名啊！」這是萬軍之主說的。●

Malachi 1:2（KJV）I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

Malachi 1:2（NIV）"I have loved you," says the LORD. "But you ask, 'How have you loved us?' "Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" the LORD says."Yet I have loved Jacob,

Malachi 1:3（KJV）And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Malachi 1:3（NIV）but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals."

Malachi 1:4（KJV）Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts,They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

Malachi 1:4（NIV）Edom may say, "Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins." But this is what the LORD Almighty says: "They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD.

Malachi 1:5（KJV）And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

Blemished Sacrifices（Mal 1:6-14）

Malachi 1:6（KJV）A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Malachi 1:6（NIV）"A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?" says the LORD Almighty. "It is you, O priests, who show contempt for my name. "But you ask, 'How have we shown contempt for your name?'

Malachi 1:7（KJV）Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

Malachi 1:7（NIV）"You place defiled food on my altar. "But you ask, 'How have we defiled you?' "By saying that the LORD'S table is contemptible.

Malachi 1:8（KJV）And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 1:8（NIV）When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?" says the LORD Almighty.

Malachi 1:9（KJV）And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 1:9（NIV）"Now implore God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?"--says the LORD Almighty.

Malachi 1:10（KJV）Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Malachi 1:10（NIV）"Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you," says the LORD Almighty,"and I will accept no offering from your hands.

Malachi 1:11（KJV）For from the rising of the sun even unto thegoing down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 1:11（NIV）My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations," says the LORD Almighty.

Malachi 1:12（KJV）But ye have profaned it, in thatye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.

Malachi 1:12（NIV）"But you profane it by saying of the Lord's table, 'It is defiled,' and of its food, 'It is contemptible.'

Malachi 1:13（KJV）Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

Malachi 1:13（NIV）And you say,'What a burden!' and you sniff at it contemptuously," says the LORD Almighty. "When you bring injured, crippled or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?" says the LORD.

Malachi 1:14（KJV）But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a Malachi e, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Malachi 1:14（NIV）"Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king," says the LORD Almighty, "and my name is to be feared among the nations.
