創4:1（UCV）【生該隱與亞伯】有一日，那人和他妻子夏娃同房，夏娃就懷孕，生了該隱〔就是『得』的意思〕，便說：「耶和華使我得了一個男子。」

創4:1（NCV）【該隱和亞伯】亞當和他的妻子夏娃同房，夏娃就懷孕，生了該隱，就說：「藉著耶和華的幫助，我得了一個男兒。」

Genesis 4:1（KJV）And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Genesis 4:1（NIV）【Cain and Abel】Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man."

Genesis 4:4（KJV）And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Genesis 4:5（KJV）But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Genesis 4:5（NIV）but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.

創4:6（UCV）耶和華對該隱說：「你為甚麼發怒呢？你為甚麼變了臉色呢？

Genesis 4:6（KJV）And the LORD said unto Cain,Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

Genesis 4:6（NIV）Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?

創4:7（UCV）你若行得好，豈不蒙悅納？你若行得不好，罪就伏在門前。它必戀慕你，你卻要制伏它。」

創4:7（NCV）你若行得好，豈不可以抬起頭來嗎﹖你若行得不好，罪就伏在門口了；它要纏住你，你卻要制伏它。」

創4:7（CLV）如果你做的是對的，我一定會接受，但倘若你做錯了，罪就要逼近你，死纏著你，要把你吞滅，你卻要克勝罪惡。」

Genesis 4:7（KJV）If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall behis desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Genesis 4:7（NIV） If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."

創4:8（UCV）【該隱殺兄弟】該隱與他兄弟亞伯說話；二人正在田間。該隱起來打他兄弟亞伯，把他殺了。

創4:8（NCV）該隱對他的弟弟亞伯說：「我們到田間去吧。」他們正在田間的時候，該隱就起來襲擊他的弟弟亞伯，把他殺了。

Genesis 4:8（KJV）And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Genesis 4:8（NIV）Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.

Genesis 4:9（NIV）Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"

Genesis 4:14（KJV）Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
