創12:1（UCV）【應許亞伯蘭萬族因他得福】耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要離開本地、本族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。

Genesis 12:1（KJV）Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Genesis 12:1（NIV）【The Call of Abram】The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.

創12:2（UCV）我必叫你成為大國。我必賜福給你，叫你的名為大；你也要叫別人得福。

Genesis 12:3（KJV）And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

創12:4（UCV）亞伯蘭就照著耶和華的吩咐去了；羅得也和他同去。亞伯蘭出哈蘭的時候年七十五歲。

Genesis 12:4（KJV）So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Genesis 12:5（KJV）And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Genesis 12:5（NIV）He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.

創12:6（UCV）亞伯蘭經過那地，到了示劍地方、摩利橡樹那裡，那時迦南人住在那地。

Genesis 12:6（KJV）And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

Genesis 12:6（NIV）Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land.

創12:7（UCV）耶和華向亞伯蘭顯現，說：「我要把這地賜給你的後裔。」亞伯蘭就在那裡為向他顯現的耶和華築了一座壇。

Genesis 12:7（KJV）And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

Genesis 12:7（NIV）The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altarthere to the LORD, who had appeared to him.

創12:8（UCV）從那裡他又遷到伯特利東邊的山，支搭帳棚；西邊是伯特利，東邊是艾。他在那裡又為耶和華築了一座壇，求告耶和華的名。

Genesis 12:8（KJV）And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.

Genesis 12:8（NIV）From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD.

創12:9（UCV）後來亞伯蘭又漸漸遷往南地去。

Genesis 12:9（KJV）And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

Genesis 12:10（KJV）And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

Genesis 12:10（NIV）【Abram in Egypt】Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe.

創12:11（UCV）將近埃及，就對他妻子撒萊說：「我知道你是容貌俊美的婦人。

Genesis 12:11（KJV）And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:

Genesis 12:11（NIV）As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, "I know what a beautiful woman you are.

創12:12（UCV）埃及人看見你，必說：『這是他的妻子』，他們就要殺我，卻叫你存活。

Genesis 12:12（KJV）Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

Genesis 12:14（KJV）And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

Genesis 12:14（NIV）When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that she was a very beautiful woman.

創12:15（UCV）法老的臣宰看見了她，就在法老面前誇獎她。那婦人就被帶進法老的宮去。

創12:15（NCV）法老的一些大臣看見了撒萊，就在法老面前稱讚她；於是那女人被帶進法老的宮裡去。

Genesis 12:15（KJV）The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

Genesis 12:15（NIV）And when Pharaoh's officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace.

創12:16（UCV）法老因這婦人就厚待亞伯蘭，亞伯蘭得了許多牛羊、駱駝、公驢、母驢、僕婢。

創12:16（NCV）亞伯蘭因這女人的緣故就被優待，得了許多牛羊、公驢、母驢、僕婢和駱駝。

Genesis 12:16（KJV）And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

Genesis 12:16（NIV）He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, menservants and maidservants, and camels.

創12:17（UCV）【法老責備亞伯蘭】耶和華因亞伯蘭妻子撒萊的緣故，降大災與法老和他的全家。

創12:17（NCV）耶和華因為亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊的緣故，就用嚴重的災病打擊法老，和他的全家。

創12:17（CLV）可是，主卻因亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊的緣故，用大災難打擊法老和王室。

Genesis 12:17（KJV）And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

創12:18（UCV）法老就召了亞伯蘭來，說：「你這向我作的是甚麼事呢？為甚麼沒有告訴我，她是你的妻子？

創12:18（NCV）於是，法老把亞伯蘭召了來，對他說：「你向我作的是甚麼﹖你為甚麼不告訴我她是你的妻子呢﹖

創12:18（CLV）法老知道了真相以後，便召見亞伯蘭，責怪他說：「你為甚麼說謊，把妻子認作妹妹？我以為她沒有丈夫，幾乎娶她為妻呢。現在，我把你的妻子交還給你，你帶她走吧！」

Genesis 12:18（KJV）And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?

Genesis 12:17（NIV）But the LORD inflicted serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household because of Abram's wife Sarai.

創12:19（UCV）為甚麼說她是你的妹子，以致我把她取來要作我的妻子？現在你的妻子在這裡？可以帶她走吧！」

創12:19（NCV）你為甚麼說她是你的妹妹，以致我娶了她作妻子呢﹖現在，你的妻子在這裡，帶她走吧！」

Genesis 12:19（KJV）Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

Genesis 12:18（NIV）So Pharaoh summoned Abram. "What have you done to me?" he said. "Why didn't you tell me she was your wife?

Genesis 12:19（NIV）Why did you say, 'She is my sister,' so that I took her to be my wife? Now then, here is your wife. Take her and go!"

創12:20（UCV）於是法老吩咐人將亞伯蘭和他妻子，並他所有的都送走了。

Genesis 12:20（KJV）And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

Genesis 12:20（NIV）Then Pharaoh gave orders about Abram to his men, and they sent him on his way, with his wife and everything he had.
