創15:1（UCV）【　神應許亞伯蘭之後裔多如眾星】這事以後，耶和華在異象中有話對亞伯蘭說： 「亞伯蘭，你不要懼怕！我是你的盾牌，必大大的賞賜你。」

創15:1（NCV）【　神與亞伯蘭立約】這些事以後，耶和華的話在異象中臨到亞伯蘭說：「亞伯蘭，你不要懼怕，我是你的盾牌；你的賞賜是很大的。」

創15:1（CLV）一切都解決了以後，主在異象中對亞伯蘭說：「亞伯蘭，你不用害怕，我是你的盾牌，我要大大地賞賜你。」

Genesis 15:1（KJV）After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying,Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Genesis 15:1（NIV）【God's Covenant With Abram】After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward."

創15:2（UCV）亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊！我既無子，你還賜我甚嗎呢？並且要承受我家業的是大馬色人以利以謝。」

創15:2（NCV）亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊！我一向都沒有孩子，你還能賜給我甚麼呢﹖這樣，承受我家業的，就是大馬士革人以利以謝了。」

創15:2（CLV）亞伯蘭說：「主上帝啊，你賜甚麼給我呢？我還沒有兒子，繼承我家業的人就是大馬士革人以利以謝。

Genesis 15:2（KJV）And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Genesis 15:2（NIV）But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?"

創15:3（UCV）亞伯蘭又說：「你沒有給我兒子；那生在我家中的人就是我的後嗣。」

創15:3（NCV）亞伯蘭又說：「你既然沒有給我後裔，那生在我家中的人，就是我的繼承人了。」

創15:3（CLV）你既然沒有賜我兒子；所以誰在我家中出生，他就是我的繼承人了。」

Genesis 15:3（KJV）And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Genesis 15:3（NIV）And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir."

創15:4（UCV）耶和華又有話對他說：「這人必不成為你的後嗣；你本身所生的才成為你的後嗣。」

創15:4（NCV）耶和華的話又臨到亞伯蘭說：「這人必不會作你的繼承人；你親生的才會是你的繼承人。」

創15:4（CLV）主回答說：「這人不會成為你的繼承人，只有你親生的兒子才是你的繼承人。」

Genesis 15:4（KJV）And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Genesis 15:4（NIV）Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."

創15:5（UCV）於是領他走到外邊，說：「你向天觀看，數算眾星，能數得過來嗎？」又對他說：「你的後裔將要如此。」

創15:5（NCV）於是領他到外面去，說：「你向天觀看，數點眾星，看你能不能把它們數得清楚。」又對他說：「你的後裔將要這樣眾多。」

創15:5（CLV）上帝把亞伯蘭帶到外面，對他說：「你舉目看看那無際的天空，嘗試數一數上面的星吧，你可以數得盡嗎？你的後代也是這樣的數不勝數。」

Genesis 15:5（KJV）Genesis And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Genesis 15:5（NIV）He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

創15:6（UCV）亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此為他的義。

創15:6（NCV）亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此算為他的義了。

創15:6（CLV）亞伯蘭信靠主；主看見他有這樣的信心，便稱他為義人。

Genesis 15:6（KJV）And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Genesis 15:6（NIV）Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

創15:7（UCV）耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為要將這地賜你為業。」

創15:7（NCV）耶和華又對亞伯蘭說：「我是耶和華，曾經把你從迦勒底的吾珥領出來，為要把這地賜給你作產業。」

創15:7（CLV）主又對他說：' 「我就是帶你離開迦勒底的吾珥來到這裡，並且把這地賜給你的主。」 '

Genesis 15:7（KJV）And he said unto him,I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

Genesis 15:7（NIV）He also said to him, "I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur ofthe Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it."

創15:8（UCV）亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊！我怎能知道必得這地為業呢？」

創15:8（NCV）亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊！我憑甚麼能知道我必得這地為業呢﹖」

創15:8（CLV）亞伯蘭回答說：「主上帝啊，我怎麼可以知道我一定會得著這地呢？」

Genesis 15:8（KJV） And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

Genesis 15:8（NIV）But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?"

創15:9（UCV）祂說：「你為我取一隻三年的母牛，一隻三年的母山羊，一隻三年的公綿羊，一隻班鳩，一隻雛鴿。」

創15:9（NCV）耶和華對他說：「你給我拿一頭三歲的母牛，一隻三歲的母山羊，一隻三歲的公綿羊，一隻班鳩和一隻雛鴿。」

創15:9（CLV）於是上帝說：「你去帶一頭三歲大的母牛、一頭三歲大的母山羊、一頭三歲大的公綿羊、一隻斑鳩和一隻雛鴿來。」

Genesis 15:9（KJV）And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

Genesis 15:9（NIV）So the LORD said to him,"Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon."

創15:10（UCV）亞伯蘭就取了這些來，每樣劈開分成兩半，一半對著一半的擺列，只有鳥沒有劈開。

創15:10（NCV）亞伯蘭就把這一切拿了來，每樣都從當中劈開，一半一半相對擺列；只是鳥卻沒有劈開。

創15:10（CLV）亞伯蘭就把這一切都帶了來，除了雀鳥以外，其餘的都切成兩半，一半對著另一半地擺列著。

Genesis 15:10（KJV）And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

Genesis 15:10（NIV）Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half.

創15:11（UCV）有騺鳥下來落在那死畜的肉上，亞伯蘭就把牠嚇飛了。

Genesis 15:11（KJV）And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

Genesis 15:11（NIV）Then birds of prey came down on the carcasses, but Abram drove them away.

創15:12（UCV）日頭正落的時候，亞伯蘭沉沉的睡了；忽然有驚人的大黑暗落在他身上。

創15:12（NCV）日落的時候，亞伯蘭沉沉地睡著了，忽然有可怕的大黑暗落在他身上。

創15:12（CLV）太陽下山了，亞伯蘭正在熟睡的時候，他周圍忽然漆黑一片，非常可怕。

Genesis 15:12（KJV）And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

Genesis 15:12（NIV）As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him.

創15:13（UCV）耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要的確知道，你的後裔必寄居別人的地，又服事那地的人；那地的人要苦待他們四百年。

創15:13（NCV）耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要確實地知道，你的後裔必在外地寄居，也必服事那地的人，那地的人苦待他們四百年。

創15:13（CLV）上帝對他說：「你的後代必會流落異鄉，遭受四百年的奴役和虐待。

Genesis 15:13（KJV）And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Genesis 15:13（NIV）Then the LORD said to him, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.

創15:14（UCV）並且他們所要服事的那國，我要懲罰。後來他們必帶著許多財物從那裡出來。

創15:14（NCV）他們所要服事的那國，我要親自懲罰。後來他們必帶著很多財物，從那裡出來。

Genesis 15:14（KJV）And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shallthey come out with great substance.

Genesis 15:14（NIV）But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.

創15:15（UCV）但你要享大壽數，平平安安地歸到你列祖那裡，被人埋葬。

Genesis 15:15（KJV）And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

Genesis 15:15（NIV）You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age.

創15:16（UCV）到了第四代，他們必回到此地，因為亞摩利人的罪孽還沒有滿盈。」

Genesis 15:16（KJV）But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

創15:17（UCV）日落天黑，不料有冒煙的爐，並燒著的火把從那些肉塊中經過。

Genesis 15:17（KJV） And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

Genesis 15:17（NIV）When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces.

創15:18（UCV）當那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔，從埃及河直到伯拉大河之地；

Genesis 15:18（KJV）In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
