創17:1（UCV）【　神改亞伯蘭名為亞伯拉罕】亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說： 「我是全能的　神，你當在我面前作完全人。

創17:1（NCV）【亞伯蘭改名亞伯拉罕】亞伯蘭九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：「我是全能的　神，你要在我面前行事為人；你要作完全人。

Genesis 17:1（KJV）And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him,I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Genesis 17:1（NIV）【The Covenant of Circumcision】When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.

創17:2（UCV）我就與你立約，使你的後裔極其繁多。」

Genesis 17:3（KJV）And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

Genesis 17:3（NIV）Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,

Genesis 17:4（KJV）As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Genesis 17:5（KJV）Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Genesis 17:5（NIV）No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.

創17:6（UCV）我必使你的後裔極其繁多；國度從你而立，君王從你而出。

創17:6（NCV）我要使你極其昌盛，國度因你而立，君王必從你而出。

創17:6（CLV）我又要使你大大昌盛，許多的民族和君王都要源出於你。

Genesis 17:6（KJV）And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Genesis 17:6（NIV）I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.

創17:7（UCV）我要與你並你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，作永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的　神。

Genesis 17:7（KJV）And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Genesis 17:7（NIV）I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

創17:8（UCV）我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔，永遠為業。我也必作他們的　神。」

Genesis 17:8（KJV）And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Genesis 17:8（NIV）The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God."

創17:9（UCV）【始定割禮】　神又對亞伯拉罕說：「你和你的後裔必世世代代遵守我的約。

Genesis 17:9（KJV）And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

Genesis 17:9（NIV）Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.

創17:10（UCV）你們所有的男子都要受割禮；這就是我與你，並你的後裔所立的約，是你們所當遵守的。

創17:10（NCV）我與你和你的後裔所立的這約，是你們應當謹守的，就是你們所有的男子，都要受割禮。，是你們所當遵守的。

Genesis 17:10（KJV） This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me andyou and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Genesis 17:10（NIV）This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

創17:11（UCV）你們都要受割禮〔『受割禮』原文作『割陽皮』十四、二十三、二十四、二十五節同〕，這是我與你們立約的證據。

創17:11（NCV）你們都要割去身上的包皮，這就是我與你們立約的記號了。

她也要作多國的母，萬族的君王必從她而出。」

創17:11（CLV）你們都要割包皮，作為我們之間立約的標記。

Genesis 17:11（KJV）And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

Genesis 17:11（NIV）You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.

創17:12（UCV）你們世世代代的男子，無論是家裡生的，是在你後裔之外用銀子從外人買的，生下來第八日，都要受割禮。

創17:12（NCV）你們中間世世代代所有的男子，無論是在家裡生的，或是用銀子從不是屬你後裔的外族人買來的，生下來第八日都要受割禮。

Genesis 17:12（KJV）And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

Genesis 17:12（NIV）For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner--those who are not your offspring.

創17:13（UCV）你家裡生的，和你用銀子買的，都必須受割禮。這樣，我的約就立在你們肉體上，作永遠的約。

創17:13（NCV）在你家裡生的，和你用銀子買來的，都一定要受割禮。這樣，我的約就刻在你們身上，作永遠的約。

Genesis 17:13（KJV）He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Genesis 17:13（NIV）Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant.

創17:14（UCV）但不受割禮的男子，必從民中剪除，因他背了我的約。」 '

創17:14（NCV）但不受割禮的男子，就是沒有割去身上的包皮的，那人必從民中剪除，因為他違背了我的約。」

創17:14（CLV）你們要把那些沒有割去包皮的男子在眾人當中剷除，因為他背了約。」

Genesis 17:14（KJV） And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

Genesis 17:14（NIV）Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant."

創17:15（UCV）【　神改撒萊名為撒拉】　神又對亞伯拉罕說：「你的妻子撒萊，不可再叫撒萊，她的名要叫撒拉。

創17:15（NCV）【撒萊改名撒拉】　神又對亞伯拉罕說：「至於你的妻子撒萊，不要再叫她的名撒萊，要叫撒拉。

創17:15（CLV）上帝對亞伯拉罕說：「你妻子的名字以後不要再要叫撒萊了，你要叫她撒拉。

Genesis 17:15（KJV）And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Genesis 17:15（NIV）God also said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah.

創17:16（UCV）我必賜福給她，也要使你從她得一個兒子。我要賜福給她，她也要作多國之母；必有百姓的君王從她而出。」

創17:16（NCV）我必賜福給她，也必使她為你生一個兒子；我要賜福給她，

創17:16（CLV）我必賜福給她，讓她為你生一個男孩，她必成為多個民族的母親，君王也要由她而出。」

Genesis 17:16（KJV）AndI will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Genesis 17:16（NIV）I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will bethe mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her."

創17:17（UCV）亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地喜笑，心裡說：「一百歲的人還能得孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生養嗎？」

創17:17（NCV）亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地，笑了起來，心裡說：「一百歲的人，還能生孩子嗎﹖撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生育嗎﹖」

創17:17（CLV）亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地上偷偷笑起來，心裡說：「一百歲的人，還可以生養孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生育孩子嗎？」

Genesis 17:17（KJV）Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

Genesis 17:17（NIV）Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, "Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?"

創17:18（UCV）亞伯拉罕對　神說：「但願以實瑪利活在你面前。」

創17:18（NCV）亞伯拉罕對　神說：「願以實瑪利能在你面前活著！」

創17:18（CLV）亞伯拉罕對上帝說：「但願以實瑪利能在你面前活著就好了。」

Genesis 17:18（KJV）And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

Genesis 17:18（NIV）And Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!"

創17:19（UCV）【應許生以撒】　神說：「不然，你妻子撒拉要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅定所立的約，作他後裔永遠的約。

創17:19（NCV）【應許生以撒】　神說：「你的妻子撒拉，真的要為你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅立我的約，作他後裔的永約。

創17:19（CLV）但是，上帝說：「不，撒拉必為你生一個兒子，你要為他取名叫以撒，我要和他確立我的約，作為給他後代永恆的約。

Genesis 17:19（KJV）And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Genesis 17:19（NIV）Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

創17:20（UCV）至於以實瑪利，我也應允你：我必賜福給他，使他昌盛，極其繁多。他必生十二個族長，我也要使他成為大國。

創17:20（NCV）至於以實瑪利，我也應允你。看哪！我已經賜福給他；我必使他昌盛，子孫極其眾多；他必生十二個族長；我也必使他成為大國。

創17:20（CLV）至於以實瑪利，我已經聽見了你的祈求，我必賜福給他，大大地興旺他，使他昌盛。他必作十二個族長的父親，他必成為大國之父。

Genesis 17:20（KJV）And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold,I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Genesis 17:20（NIV） And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.

創17:21（UCV）到明年這時節，撒拉必給你生以撒，我要與他堅定所立的約。」

創17:21（NCV）我的約是要和以撒堅立的。這以撒，就是明年這時候，撒拉要為你生的。」

創17:21（CLV）明年這個時候，撒拉必給你生以撒，我必要跟他確立我的約。」

Genesis 17:21（KJV） But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Genesis 17:21（NIV）But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year."

創17:22（UCV）【始受割禮】　神和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。

創17:22（NCV）【首次受割禮】　神和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。

創17:22（CLV）說完了以後，上帝便離開亞伯拉罕升上去了。

Genesis 17:22（KJV）And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

Genesis 17:22（NIV）When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.

創17:23（UCV）正當那日，亞伯拉罕遵著　神的命，給他的兒子以實瑪利和家裡的一切男子，無論是在家裡生的，是用銀子買的，都行了割禮。

創17:23（NCV）就在那一天，亞伯拉罕照著　神吩咐他的，給他兒子以實瑪利，和他家裡所有的男子，無論是在家裡生的，或是用銀子買來的，都割去了他們身上的包皮。

Genesis 17:23（KJV）And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.

Genesis 17:23（NIV）On that very day Abraham took his son Ishmael and all those born in his household or bought with his money, every male in his household, and circumcised them, as God told him.
