Genesis 19:1（KJV）And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

Genesis 19:1（NIV）【Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed】The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.

Genesis 19:2（KJV）And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said,Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

Genesis 19:2（NIV）"My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning." "No," they answered,"we will spend the night in the square."

創19:3（UCV）羅得切切地請祂們，祂們這才進去到他屋裡。羅得為祂們預備筵席，烤無酵餅，祂們就吃了。

Genesis 19:3（KJV）And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Genesis 19:4（KJV）But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

Genesis 19:4（NIV）Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house.

創19:5（UCV）呼叫羅得，說：「今日晚上到你這裡來的人在那裡呢？把他們帶出來，任我們所為。」

Genesis 19:5（NIV）They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

Genesis 19:7（KJV）And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

Genesis 19:7（NIV）and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing.

創19:8（NCV）看哪！我有兩個女兒，是還沒有和男人同房的，讓我把她們帶出來，你們高興怎樣待她們，就怎樣行吧！只是這兩個人，因為祂們是到舍下來的，你們不可向祂們作甚麼。」

創19:8（CLV）我有兩個女兒，還是處女，我願意把她們交出來任憑你們處置，只是請你們不要侮辱這兩個人，因為他們是我的客人啊！」

Genesis 19:8（KJV）Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

Genesis 19:8（NIV）Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof."

創19:9（UCV）眾人說：「退去吧！」又說：「這個人來寄居，還想要作官哪！現在我們要害你比害他們更甚。」眾人就向前擁擠羅得，要攻破房門。

創19:9（NCV）眾人卻說：「滾開！」又說：「一個來這裡寄居的人，竟作起審判官來；現在我們要害你，比害他們還要厲害。」眾人就向羅得極力擁擠，他們衝前要打破房門。

創19:9（CLV）他們喝令羅得站在一旁，怒沖沖地說：「這個寄居的人竟當起審判官來啦！現在我們要用比對付這兩個人更毒辣的手段來對付你。」說完便蜂擁地衝向羅得，想要撞破大門。

Genesis 19:9（KJV）And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

Genesis 19:9（NIV）"Get out of our way," they replied. And they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.

Genesis 19:10（KJV）But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

Genesis 19:12（KJV）And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

Genesis 19:12（NIV）The two men said to Lot, "Do you have anyone else here--sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,

創19:13（UCV）我們要毀滅這地方，因為城內罪惡的聲音，在耶和華面前甚大，耶和華差我們來，要毀滅這地方。」

Genesis 19:13（KJV）For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

Genesis 19:13（NIV）because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it."

創19:14（UCV）羅得就出去，告訴娶了他女兒的女婿們〔『娶了』或作『將要娶』〕，說：「你們起來離開這地方，因為耶和華要毀滅這城。」他女婿們卻以為他說的是戲言。

創19:14（NCV）於是羅得出去，告訴娶了他女兒的女婿，說：「你們起來離開這地方；因為耶和華就要毀滅這城。」但是他的女婿以為他在開玩笑。

創19:14（CLV）羅得聽了天使的話便急忙出去通知他的女婿說：「快走吧！上帝要毀滅這城了！」可是，他們卻誤會他是在開玩笑。

Genesis 19:14（KJV）And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Genesis 19:14（NIV）So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters. He said, "Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!" But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

創19:15（UCV）【天使引領羅得逃過災禍】天明了，天使催逼羅得說：「起來！帶著你的妻子，和你在這裡的兩個女兒出去，免得你因這城裡的罪惡同被剿滅。」

創19:15（NCV）【天使救羅得離開所多瑪】天快亮的時候，兩位天使催促羅得說：「起來，帶你的妻子，和你這裡的兩個女兒出去，免得你因這城的罪孽被除滅。」

Genesis 19:15（KJV）And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

Genesis 19:15（NIV）With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying,"Hurry! Take your wife and yourtwo daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished."

創19:16（UCV）但羅得遲延不走。二人因為耶和華憐恤羅得，就拉著他的手，和他妻子的手，並他兩個女兒的手，把他們領出來，安置在城外。

Genesis 19:16（KJV）And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Genesis 19:16（NIV）When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them.

創19:17（UCV）領他們出來以後，就說：「逃命吧！不可回頭看，也不可在平原站住。要往山上逃跑，免得你被剿滅。」

創19:17（NCV）二人把他們帶出來以後，其中一位說：「逃命吧！不要回頭看，也不可留在這片平原上，要逃到山上去，免得你被除滅。」

創19:17（CLV）其中一位天使說：「快逃命吧！不要回頭看，也不要留在平原，往山上逃吧！不然的話，你們就會遭殃了。」

Genesis 19:17（KJV） And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Genesis 19:17（NIV）As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!"

創19:18（UCV）羅得對祂們說：「我主啊！不要如此。

Genesis 19:18（KJV）And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my LORD:

Genesis 19:18（NIV）But Lot said to them, "No, my lords, please!

創19:19（UCV）你僕人已經在你眼前蒙恩；你又向我顯出莫大的慈愛，救我的性命。我不能逃到山上去，恐怕這災禍臨到我，我便死了。

創19:19（NCV）看哪！你僕人既然在你眼前蒙恩，你又向我大施慈愛，救活我的性命；可是我還逃不到山上，恐怕這災禍就追上了我，我就死了。

Genesis 19:19（KJV）Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

Genesis 19:19（NIV）Your servant has found favor in your eyes, and you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can't flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I'll die.

創19:20（UCV）看哪！這座城又小，又近，容易逃到，這不是一個小的嗎？求你容我逃到那裡，我的性命就得存活。」

創19:20（NCV）看哪！這座城很近，可以逃到那裡，那只是一座小城，請讓我逃到那裡去。那不是一座小城嗎﹖這樣我就可以活命了。」

創19:20（CLV）你們看，前面這座城離這裡不遠，而且又是個小城，求你們就讓我逃到那裡去吧！」

Genesis 19:20（KJV）Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

Genesis 19:20（NIV）Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it--it is very small, isn't it? Then my life will be spared."

創19:21（UCV）天使對他說：「這事我也應允你；我不傾覆你所說的這城。」

創19:21（NCV）有一位天使對他說：「這事我也答應你，你所說的這城，我必不傾覆。

創19:21（CLV）天使回答說：「好，我就答應你的請求，不毀滅那小城。你們趕快跑到那裡去吧，你沒有到達那裡，我是不能動手的。」從此那城便叫瑣珥，瑣珥是小城的意思。

Genesis 19:21（KJV）And he said unto him,See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

Genesis 19:21（NIV）He said to him, "Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrowthe town you speak of.

創19:22（UCV）你要速速地逃到那城；因為你還沒有到那裡，我不能作甚麼。」因此那城名叫瑣珥〔『瑣珥』就是『小』的意思〕。

Genesis 19:22（KJV）Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Genesis 19:22（NIV）But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it." (That is why the town was called Zoar.)

Genesis 19:29（KJV）And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

Genesis 19:29（NIV）So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.

Genesis 19:31（NIV）One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth.

創19:33（UCV）於是那夜她們叫父親喝酒，大女兒就進去和他父親同寢；她幾時躺下，幾時起來，父親都不知道。

Genesis 19:33（KJV）And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Genesis 19:33（NIV）That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

創19:34（UCV）第二天，大女兒對小女兒說：「我昨夜與父親同寢。今夜我們再叫他喝酒，你可以進去與他同寢。這樣，我們好從父親存留後裔。」

Genesis 19:34（KJV）And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
