Genesis 27:1（KJV）And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.

Genesis 27:33（NIV）Isaac trembled violently and said, "Who was it, then, that hunted game and brought it to me? I ate it just before you came and I blessed him--and indeed he will be blessed!"

Genesis 27:36（NIV）Esau said, "Isn't he rightly named Jacob? He has deceived me these two times: He took my birthright, and now he's taken my blessing!" Then he asked, "Haven't you reserved any blessing for me?"

Genesis 27:37（KJV）And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?

Genesis 27:37（NIV）Isaac answered Esau, "I have made him lord over you and have made all his relatives his servants, and I have sustained him with grain and new wine. So what can I possibly do for you, my son?"

創27:38（UCV）以掃對他父親說：「父啊！你只有一樣可祝的福麼？我父啊！求你也為我祝福。」以掃就放聲而哭。

創27:38（NCV）以掃問他的父親：「我父啊！你只有一個祝福嗎﹖我父阿！求你也給我祝福。」以掃就放聲大哭。

Genesis 27:38（KJV）And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Genesis 27:38（NIV）Esau said to his father, "Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father!" Then Esau wept aloud.

Genesis 27:39（NIV）His father Isaac answered him, "Your dwelling will be away from the earth's richness, away from the dew of heaven above.

創27:40（UCV）你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必事奉你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。」

Genesis 27:40（KJV）And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

Genesis 27:40（NIV）You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother. But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck."

創27:41（UCV）【以掃怨恨雅各】以掃因他父親給雅各祝的福，就怨恨雅各，心裡說：「為我父親居喪的日子近了，到那時候，我要殺我的兄弟雅各。」

創27:41（NCV）【以掃恨雅各】以掃因為他父親給雅各所祝的福，就懷恨雅各；以掃心裡想：「為我父親守喪的時候近了，到時我必殺我的弟弟雅各。」

創27:41（CLV）從那天開始，以掃就因為雅各奪了他的祝福，對雅各懷恨在心，暗自思量說：「爸爸已經不久人世，他死了，我就把雅各幹掉！」

Genesis 27:41（KJV）And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

Genesis 27:41（NIV）< Jacob Flees to Laban > Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, "The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob."

Genesis 27:42（KJV）And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

Genesis 27:42（NIV）When Rebekah was told what her older son Esau had said, she sent for her younger son Jacob and said to him, "Your brother Esau is consoling himself with the thought of killing you.

創27:43（UCV）現在，我兒，你要聽我的話：起來，逃往哈蘭我哥哥拉班那裡去，

創27:43（NCV）我兒啊！現在你要聽我的話；起來，逃到哈蘭我哥哥拉班那裡去吧。

Genesis 27:43（KJV）Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

Genesis 27:43（NIV）Now then, my son, do what I say: Flee at once to my brother Laban in Haran.

創27:44（UCV）同他住些日子，直等你哥哥的怒氣消了。

Genesis 27:45（KJV）Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?

Genesis 27:45（NIV）When your brother is no longer angry with you and forgets what you did to him, I'll send word for you to come back from there. Why should I lose both of you in one day?"

創27:46（NCV）利百加對以撒說：「我因為這些赫人女子，連性命都厭惡了。如果雅各也從這地的女子中，娶了像這樣的赫人女子為妻，那我活著還有甚麼意思呢﹖」

創27:46（CLV）跟著，利百加就對以撒說：「我被這些赫人女子煩死了。如果雅各也像以掃一樣娶那些赫人女子為妻，我活著還有甚麼意思呢？」

Genesis 27:46（KJV）And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?

Genesis 27:46（NIV）Then Rebekah said to Isaac, "I'm disgusted with living because of these Hittite women. If Jacob takes a wife from among the women of this land, from Hittite women like these, my life will not be worth living."
