Genesis 33:1（KJV）And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.

Genesis 33:1（NIV）【Jacob Meets Esau】Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel and the two maidservants.

Genesis 33:5（KJV）And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

Genesis 33:5（NIV）Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. "Who are these with you?" he asked. Jacob answered, "They are the children God has graciously given your servant."

Genesis 33:7（NIV）Next, Leah and her children came and bowed down. Last of all came Joseph and Rachel, and they too bowed down.

Genesis 33:8（KJV）And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.

Genesis 33:8（NIV）Esau asked, "What do you mean by all these droves I met?" "To find favor in your eyes, my lord," he said.

創33:9（UCV）以掃說：「兄弟啊！我的已經夠了，你的仍歸你吧！」

創33:9（NCV）以掃說：「弟弟啊！我已經很富有了，你的仍歸你吧。」

Genesis 33:9（KJV）And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

Genesis 33:9（NIV）But Esau said, "I already have plenty, my brother. Keep what you have for yourself."

Genesis 33:10（KJV）And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

Genesis 33:10（NIV）"No, please!" said Jacob. "If I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have received me favorably.

創33:11（UCV）求你收下我帶來給你的禮物，因為　神恩待我，使我充足。」雅各再三的求他，他才收下了。

Genesis 33:11（KJV）Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.

Genesis 33:11（NIV）Please accept the present that was brought to you, for God has been gracious to me and I have all I need." And because Jacob insisted, Esau accepted it.

創33:12（UCV）以掃說：「我們可以起身前往，我在你前頭走。」

Genesis 33:12（KJV）And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.

Genesis 33:13（KJV）And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.

Genesis 33:13（NIV）But Jacob said to him, "My lord knows that the children are tender and that I must care for the ewes and cows that are nursing their young. If they are driven hard just one day, all the animals will die.

創33:14（UCV）求我主在僕人前頭走，我要量著在我面前群畜，和孩子的力量慢慢的前行，直走到西珥我主那。」

創33:14（NCV）請我主在僕人前頭先行；我要照著在我面前群畜，和孩子們的速度，慢慢前行，直走到西珥我主那去。」

Genesis 33:14（KJV）Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.

Genesis 33:14（NIV）So let my lord go on ahead of his servant, while I move along slowly at the pace of the droves before me and that of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir."

創33:15（UCV）以掃說：「容我把跟隨我的人留幾個在你這。」雅各說：「何必呢？只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。」

創33:15（NCV）以掃說：「讓我把跟隨我的人留幾個在你這吧。」雅各說：「為甚麼要這樣呢﹖只要我得我主的喜悅就是了。」

Genesis 33:15（KJV）And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

Genesis 33:15（NIV） Esau said, "Then let me leave some of my men with you." "But why do that?" Jacob asked. "Just let me find favor in the eyes of my lord."

Genesis 33:17（KJV）And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

Genesis 33:17（NIV）Jacob, however, went to Succoth, where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Succoth.

Genesis 33:18（KJV）And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.

Genesis 33:18（NIV）After Jacob came from Paddan Aram, he arrived safely at the city of Shechem in Canaan and camped within sight of the city.

創33:19（UCV）就用一百塊銀子向示劍的父親哈抹的子孫，買了支帳棚的那塊地，
