創48:1（UCV）【約瑟攜二子見雅各】這事以後，有人告訴約瑟說：「你的父親病了。」他就帶著兩個兒子瑪拿西，和以法蓮同去。

創48:1（NCV）【雅各祝福以法蓮和瑪拿西】這些事以後，有人對約瑟說：「你的父親病了。」約瑟就帶著兩個兒子瑪拿西，和以法蓮同去。

創48:1（CLV）一天，有人來通知約瑟，說他的父親病了，於是，約瑟就帶著兩個兒子瑪拿西和以法蓮去探望父親。

Genesis 48:1（KJV）And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

Genesis 48:1（NIV）【Manasseh and Ephraim】Some time later Joseph was told, "Your father is ill." So he took his two sons Manasseh and Ephraim along with him.

Genesis 48:3（KJV）And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,

Genesis 48:3（NIV）Jacob said to Joseph, "God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and there he blessed me

創48:4（UCV）對我說：『我必使你生養眾多，成為多民，又要把這地賜給你的後裔，永遠為業。』

Genesis 48:4（KJV）And said unto me, Behold,I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and Iwill make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.

Genesis 48:4（NIV）and said to me, 'I am going to make you fruitful and will increase your numbers. I will make you a community of peoples, and I will give this land as an everlasting possession to your descendants after you.'

創48:5（UCV）我未到埃及見你之先，你在埃及地所生的以法蓮，和瑪拿西，這兩個兒子是我的，正如流便，和西緬是我的一樣。

Genesis 48:5（KJV）And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

Genesis 48:5（NIV）"Now then, your two sons born to you in Egypt before I came to you here will be reckoned as mine; Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine, just as Reuben and Simeon are mine.

創48:6（UCV）你在他們以後所生的，就是你的，他們可以歸於他們弟兄的名下得產業。

Genesis 48:6（KJV）And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.

創48:7（UCV）至於我，我從巴旦來的時候，拉結死在我眼前，在迦南地的路上，離以法他還有一段路程，我就把她葬在以法他的路上。（以法他就是伯利恆。）

Genesis 48:7（KJV）And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.

Genesis 48:7（NIV）As I was returning from Paddan, to my sorrow Rachel died in the land of Canaan while we were still on the way, a little distance from Ephrath. So I buried her there beside the road to Ephrath" (that is, Bethlehem).

創48:8（UCV）【雅各給約瑟祝福】以色列看見約瑟的兩個兒子，就說：「這是誰？」

Genesis 48:8（KJV）And Israel beheld Joseph's sons, and said, Who are these?

Genesis 48:8（NIV）When Israel saw the sons of Joseph, he asked, "Who are these?"

創48:9（UCV）約瑟對他父親說：「這是　神在這裡賜給我的兒子。」以色列說：「請你領他們到我跟前，我要給他們祝福。」

創48:9（NCV）約瑟回答父親：「他們是我的兒子，是　神在這裡賜給我的。」以色列說：「把他們領到我這裡來，我要給他們祝福。」

Genesis 48:9（KJV）And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

Genesis 48:9（NIV）"They are the sons God has given me here," Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said, "Bring them to me so I may bless them."

創48:10（UCV）以色列年紀老邁，眼睛昏花，不能看見。約瑟領他們到他眼前，他就和他們親嘴，抱著他們。

Genesis 48:10（KJV）Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.

Genesis 48:10（NIV）Now Israel's eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see. So Joseph brought his sons close to him, and his father kissed them and embraced them.

創48:11（UCV）以色列對約瑟說：「我想不到得見你的面，不料，　神又使我得見你的兒子。」

創48:11（NCV）以色列對約瑟說：「我想不到可以看見你的面，現在　神竟使我見到你的後裔。」

Genesis 48:11（KJV）And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.

Genesis 48:11（NIV）Israel said to Joseph, "I never expected to see your face again, and now God has allowed me to see your children too."

創48:12（UCV）約瑟把兩個兒子從以色列兩膝中領出來，自己就臉伏於地下拜。

Genesis 48:12（KJV）And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.

Genesis 48:12（NIV）Then Joseph removed them from Israel's knees and bowed down with his face to the ground.

創48:13（UCV）隨後，約瑟又拉著他們兩個，以法蓮在他的右手裡，對著以色列的左手；瑪拿西在他的左手裡，對著以色列的右手，領他們到以色列的跟前。

Genesis 48:13（KJV）And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him.

Genesis 48:13（NIV）And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel's left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel's right hand, and brought them close to him.

Genesis 48:14（KJV）And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.

Genesis 48:14（NIV）But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim's head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh's head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

創48:15（UCV）他就給約瑟祝福，說：「願我祖亞伯拉罕，和我父以撒所事奉的　神，就是一生牧養我，直到今日的　神，

Genesis 48:15（KJV）And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

Genesis 48:15（NIV）Then he blessed Joseph and said, "May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,

創48:16（UCV）救贖我脫離一切患難的那使者，賜福與這兩個童子。願他們歸在我的名下，和我祖亞伯拉罕、我父以撒的名下，又願他們在世界中，生養眾多。」

Genesis 48:16（KJV）The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Genesis 48:16（NIV）the Angel who has delivered me from all harm--may he bless these boys. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly upon the earth."

創48:17（UCV）約瑟見他父親把右手按在以法蓮的頭上，就不喜悅，便提起他父親的手，要從以法蓮頭上挪到瑪拿西的頭上。

創48:17（NCV）約瑟見他父親把右手按在以法蓮的頭上，心裡就不高興，於是拿住他父親的手，要從以法蓮的頭上移到瑪拿西的頭上。

創48:17（CLV）約瑟看見父親把右手放在以法蓮的頭上，就不大高興。於是，他就抓著父親的右手，從以法蓮的頭上移到瑪拿西頭上，

Genesis 48:17（KJV）And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.

Genesis 48:17（NIV）When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim's head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father's hand to move it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head.

創48:18（UCV）約瑟對他父親說：「我父，不是這樣，這本是長子，求你把右手按在他的頭上。」

創48:18（NCV）約瑟對他父親說：「爸爸啊！不是這樣，這個才是長子，請你把右手按在他的頭上。」

創48:18（CLV）對父親說：「爸爸，你弄錯了，這才是長子，你應該把右手按在他的頭上啊！」

Genesis 48:18（KJV）And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.

Genesis 48:18（NIV）Joseph said to him, "No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."

創48:19（UCV）他父親不從，說：「我知道。我兒，我知道。他也必成為一族，也必昌大，只是他的兄弟將來比他還大，他兄弟的後裔要成為多族。」

創48:19（NCV）他父親卻不肯，說：「我知道，我兒啊！我知道，他也要成為一族，也要強大；只是他弟弟比他還要強大，他的後裔要成為多族。」

創48:19（CLV）他父親卻不聽從他，說：「孩子，我知道瑪拿西要成為一個大民族的鼻祖，只是他比不上他的弟弟，因為以法蓮的後裔要成為多個強大的民族啊。」

Genesis 48:19（KJV）And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

Genesis 48:19（NIV）But his father refused and said, "I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations."

創48:20（UCV）當日，就給他們祝福，說：「以色列人要指著你們祝福，說：『願　神使你如以法蓮、瑪拿西一樣。』」於是立以法蓮在瑪拿西以上。

創48:20（NCV）那一天，以色列給他們祝福，說：「以色列人要用你的名祝福人，說：『願　神使你像以法蓮，和瑪拿西一樣。』」於是，以色列立以法蓮在瑪拿西之上。

創48:20（CLV）那一天，雅各又這樣祝福他們說：「願以色列人都引用你們的名義來祝福人，說：『願上帝使你們像以法蓮和瑪拿西一樣！』」雅各就這樣把以法蓮排在瑪拿西前面了。

Genesis 48:20（KJV）And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Genesis 48:20（NIV）He blessed them that day and said, "In your name will Israel pronounce this blessing: 'May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.'" So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh.

創48:21（UCV）以色列又對約瑟說：「我要死了，但　神必與你們同在，領你們回到你們列祖之地。

創48:21（NCV）以色列又對約瑟說：「看哪，我快要死了，但是　神必與你們同在，必領你們回到你們祖先的土地去。

Genesis 48:21（KJV）And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.

Genesis 48:21（NIV）Then Israel said to Joseph, "I am about to die, but God will be with you and take you back to the land of your fathers.

創48:22（UCV）並且我從前用弓用刀從亞摩利人手下奪的那塊地，我都賜給你，使你比眾兄弟多得一分。」

創48:22（NCV）現在我把從前用刀和弓，從亞摩利人手中奪過來的那塊山地賜給你，使你比眾兄弟多得一分。」

創48:22（CLV）從前我用刀劍親手從亞摩利人手上奪來的那塊地，我也要留給你，好讓你比其他兄弟多得一分。」

Genesis 48:22（KJV）Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

Genesis 48:22（NIV）And to you, as one who is over your brothers, I give the ridge of land I took from the Amorites with my sword and my bow."
