出16:1（CLV）以色列全會眾從以琳出發，剛好在出埃及以後第二個月的第十五天，就到了以琳和西奈中間一個名叫汛的沙漠。

Exodus 16:1（KJV）And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 16:1（NIV）【Manna and Quail】The whole Israelite community set out from Elim and came to the Desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had come out of Egypt.

Exodus 16:3（KJV）And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

Exodus 16:3（NIV）The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the LORD'S hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death."

Exodus 16:4（KJV）Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

Exodus 16:4（NIV）Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are togo out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.

Exodus 16:7（KJV）And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?

Exodus 16:7（NIV）and in the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?"

出16:8（UCV）摩西又說：「耶和華晚上必給你們肉吃，早晨必給你們食物得飽；因為你們向耶和華發的怨言，祂都聽見了。我們算甚麼？你們的怨言不是向我們發的，乃是向耶和華發的。」

出16:8（NCV）摩西又說：「耶和華晚上必給你們肉吃，早晨必給你們食物吃飽，因為耶和華聽見了你們埋怨祂所說的怨言了。我們算甚麼﹖你們的怨言不是向我們發的，而是向耶和華發的。」

出16:8（CLV）今天晚上主必給你們肉吃，早晨再給你們餅吃。你們來聽聽上帝怎樣回答你們所發的怨言吧，你們的怨言與我們沒有關係，你們埋怨的只是上帝。」

Exodus 16:8（KJV）And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.

Exodus 16:8（NIV）Moses also said, "You will know that it was the LORD when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the LORD."

出16:9（UCV）摩西對亞倫說：「你告訴以色列全會眾說：『你們就近耶和華面前，因為祂已經聽見你們的怨言了。』」

Exodus 16:12（KJV）I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.

Exodus 16:12（NIV）"I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, 'At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'"

出16:13（UCV）【賜嗎哪降鵪鶉】到了晚上，有鵪鶉飛來，遮滿了營；早晨在營四圍的地上有露水。

出16:13（NCV）【鵪鶉與嗎哪】到了晚上，有鵪鶉飛上來，把營都遮蓋了；到了早晨，營的四周有一層露水。

出16:13（CLV）到了黃昏，果然有成千上萬的鵪鶉飛來，叫以色列人唾手可得。翌晨，營四圍的地上都鋪滿露水。

Exodus 16:13（KJV）And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.

Exodus 16:13（NIV）That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp.

出16:14（UCV）露水上升之後，不料，野地面上有如白霜的小圓物。

出16:14（NCV）露水上升以後，就見野地上有細小鱗狀的東西，像小白霜一樣細小的東西。

Exodus 16:14（KJV）And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.

Exodus 16:14（NIV）When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor.

出16:15（UCV）以色列人看見，不知道是甚麼，就彼此對問說：「這是甚麼呢？」摩西對他們說：「這就是耶和華給你們吃的食物。

Exodus 16:15（KJV）And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Exodus 16:15（NIV）When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, "It is the bread the LORD has given you to eat.

出16:16（UCV）耶和華所吩咐的是這樣：你們要按著各人的飯量，為帳棚裏的人，按著人數收起來，各拿一俄梅珥。」

出16:16（NCV）耶和華吩咐的話是這樣的：『你們要按著各人的食量收取，按著你們的人數為帳棚裡的人收取，一人兩公升。』」

Exodus 16:16（KJV）This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.

Exodus 16:16（NIV）This is what the LORD has commanded: 'Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.'"

出16:17（UCV）以色列人就這樣行；有多收的，有少收的。

Exodus 16:17（KJV） And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.

Exodus 16:18（KJV）And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

Exodus 16:18（NIV）And when they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gathered as much as he needed.

Exodus 16:20（KJV）Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.

Exodus 16:20（NIV）However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.

出16:21（UCV）他們每日早晨，按著各人的飯量收取，日頭一發熱，就消化了。

Exodus 16:21（KJV）And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

出16:22（UCV）到第六天，他們收了雙倍的食物，每人兩俄梅珥。會眾的官長來告訴摩西。

Exodus 16:23（KJV）And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said,To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

Exodus 16:23（NIV）He said to them, "This is what the LORD commanded: 'Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.'"

出16:24（UCV）他們就照摩西的吩咐留到早晨，也不臭，裏頭也沒有蟲子。

出16:24（NCV）他們就照著摩西吩咐的，把剩餘的留到早晨；竟然不發臭，裡頭也沒有生蟲。

Exodus 16:24（KJV）And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.

Exodus 16:24（NIV）So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it.

Exodus 16:25（NIV）"Eat it today," Moses said, "because today is a Sabbath to the LORD. You will not find any of it on the ground today.

出16:26（UCV）六天可以收取，第七天乃是安息日，那一天必沒有了。」

出16:26（NCV）六天你們可以收取，但第七天是安息日，在那一天甚麼都沒有了。」

出16:26（CLV）六天之內，你們可以收取食物，但是，第七天卻沒有，因為這是安息日。」

Exodus 16:26（KJV）Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

Exodus 16:26（NIV）Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any."

出16:27（UCV）第七天百姓中有人出去收，甚麼也找不著。

出16:27（NCV）第七天民間有人出去收取，可是甚麼也找不著。

Exodus 16:27（KJV）And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.

出16:28（UCV）耶和華對摩西說：「你們不肯守我的誡命，和律法，要到幾時呢？

出16:28（NCV）耶和華對摩西說：「你們拒絕遵守我的誡命和律法，要到幾時呢﹖

出16:28（CLV）上帝對摩西說：「他們不肯遵行我的吩咐要到甚麼時候呢？我不是已經告訴過他們，第六天收取雙倍的分量嗎？因為第七天是我賜給他們的安息日，這一天，人人都要留在營中，不許外出。」

Exodus 16:28（KJV）And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

Exodus 16:28（NIV） Then the LORD said to Moses, "How long will you refuse to keep my commands and my instructions?

出16:29（UCV）你們看！耶和華既將安息日賜給你們，所以第六天他賜給你們兩天的食物，第七天各人要住在自己的地方，不許甚麼人出去。」

Exodus 16:31（KJV）And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

Exodus 16:31（NIV）The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey.

出16:32（UCV）摩西說：「耶和華所吩咐的是這樣：要將一滿俄梅珥嗎哪留到世世代代，使後人可以看見我當日將你們領出埃及地，在曠野所給你們吃的食物。」

出16:32（NCV）摩西說：「耶和華吩咐的話是這樣：' 要把滿兩公升的嗎哪保留起來給你們的後代，好讓他們可以看見當日我把你們從埃及地領出來的時候，在曠野給你們吃的食物。」 '

出16:32（CLV）摩西又把上帝的命令頒佈下來，說：「把一俄梅珥的嗎哪存留起來，這樣，你們的子孫就可以世世代代都看見上帝帶領你們出埃及，在荒野所賜給你們的食物。」

Exodus 16:32（KJV）And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

Exodus 16:32（NIV）Moses said, "This is what the LORD has commanded: 'Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the desert when I brought you out of Egypt.'"

出16:33（UCV）摩西對亞倫說：「你拿一個罐子，盛一滿俄梅珥嗎哪，存在耶和華面前，要留到世世代代。」
