Numbers 5:2（KJV）Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

Numbers 5:2（NIV）"Command the Israelites to send away from the camp anyone who has an infectious skin disease or a discharge of any kind, or who is ceremonially unclean because of a dead body.

Numbers 5:6（KJV） Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;

Numbers 5:6（NIV）"Say to the Israelites: 'When a man or woman wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the LORD, that person is guilty

民5:7（UCV）他要承認所犯的罪，將所虧負人的，如數賠還。另外加上五分之一，也歸與所虧負的人。

Numbers 5:7（KJV）Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

Numbers 5:7（NIV）and must confess the sin he has committed. He must make full restitution for his wrong, add one fifth to it and give it all to the person he has wronged.

民5:8（UCV）那人若沒有親屬可受所賠還的，那所賠還的，就要歸與服事耶和華的祭司；至於那為他贖罪的公羊是在外。'

民5:8（NCV）如果那人沒有近親可以把所虧負的賠償給他，所虧負的，就要還給耶和華，就是歸給祭司，此外還要獻上為他贖罪的代罪公綿羊。

民5:8（CLV）如果受害人已經死了，又沒有親屬接受賠償，賠償就是屬於主的，要歸給祭司；這人還要再獻上一隻公羊，為自己贖罪。

Numbers 5:8（KJV）But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

Numbers 5:8（NIV）But if that person has no close relative to whom restitution can be made for the wrong, the restitution belongs to the LORD and must be given to the priest, along with the ram with which atonement is made for him.

Numbers 5:12（KJV）Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

Numbers 5:13（KJV）And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

Numbers 5:13（NIV）by sleeping with another man, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act),

Numbers 5:14（KJV）And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

Numbers 5:14（NIV） and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure--or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure--

民5:15（UCV）這人就要將妻送到祭司那裏，又為她帶著大麥麵伊法十分之一作供物，不可澆上油，也不可加上乳香；因為這是疑恨的素祭，是思念的素祭，使人思念罪孽。

Numbers 5:15（KJV）Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

Numbers 5:15（NIV） then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder offering to draw attention to guilt.

Numbers 5:16（KJV）And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:

Numbers 5:17（KJV）And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:

民5:18（UCV）祭司要叫那婦人蓬頭散髮，站在耶和華面前，把思念的素祭，就是疑恨的素祭，放在她手中。祭司手裏拿著致咒詛的苦水，

民5:18（NCV）祭司要使那婦人站在耶和華面前，鬆開她的頭髮，把思念的素祭，就是疑忌的素祭，放在她的手中，祭司的手裏要拿著使人招致咒詛的苦水。

民5:18（CLV）祭司要叫這婦人披散頭髮，來到主面前，把那因疑心而獻的素祭放在她手裡。祭司拿著招致咒詛的苦水，

Numbers 5:18（KJV） And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which isthe jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

Numbers 5:18（NIV）After the priest has had the woman stand before the LORD, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse.

民5:19（UCV）要叫婦人起誓，對她說：若沒有人與你行淫，也未曾背著丈夫作污穢的事，你就免受這致咒詛苦水的災。

民5:19（NCV）祭司要叫那婦人起誓，對她說：『如果沒有人與你同寢，作妻子時沒有背棄丈夫被人玷污，你就免受這使人招致咒詛的苦水。

民5:19（CLV）叫這婦人立毒誓，祭司要對她說：『如果你沒有通姦，也沒有背夫偷漢做出失德敗節的事，這招致咒詛的苦水就對你無害；但是，如果你背著丈夫，行了失德的事，與人通姦，主就必咒詛你，叫民眾都唾棄你，這招致咒詛的水進到你的腹中，就會使你腹部腫脹，大腿萎縮！』那婦人要回應說：『阿們！阿們！但願如此！』

Numbers 5:19（KJV）And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:

Numbers 5:19（NIV）Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, "If no other man has slept with you and you have not gone astrayand become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.

民5:20（UCV）你若背著丈夫，行了污穢的事，在你丈夫以外有人與你行淫，

民5:20（NCV）但是，如果你作妻子時背棄了丈夫，被人玷污了；如果你在你的丈夫以外，曾與別的男人同寢。』

Numbers 5:20（KJV）But if thou hast goneaside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:

民5:21（NCV）這樣，祭司就要叫那婦人發咒起誓，繼續對她說：『耶和華要使你的大腿消瘦，肚腹腫脹；願耶和華叫你在你的族人中成為咒詛和起誓的話柄；

Numbers 5:21（KJV）Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;

Numbers 5:21（NIV） here the priest is to put the woman under this curse of the oath--"may the LORD cause your people to curse and denounce you when he causes your thigh to waste away and your abdomen to swell.

民5:22（UCV）並且這致咒詛的水入你的腸中，要叫你的肚腹發脹，大腿消瘦。婦人要回答說、阿們、阿們！

Numbers 5:22（KJV）And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

5:23（UCV）祭司要寫這咒詛的話，將所寫的字抹在苦水裏，

Numbers 5:23（KJV）And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:

Numbers 5:23（NIV）"'The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water.

民5:24（UCV）又叫婦人喝這致咒詛的苦水；這水要進入她裏面變苦了。

Numbers 5:24（KJV）And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

Numbers 5:24（NIV）He shall have the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water will enter her and cause bitter suffering.

民5:25（UCV）祭司要從婦人的手中取那疑恨的素祭，在耶和華面前搖一搖，拿到壇前。

Numbers 5:26（KJV）And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

Numbers 5:26（NIV）The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water.

民5:27（UCV）叫她喝了以後，她若被玷污得罪了丈夫，這致咒詛的水必進入她裏面變苦了，她的肚腹就要發脹，大腿就要消瘦，那婦人便要在他民中被人咒詛。

民5:27（NCV）祭司叫她喝了這水以後，如果她被人玷污，對自己的丈夫不忠，這招致咒詛的水就必進入她裏面，引起痛苦；她的肚腹必腫脹，大腿必消瘦；那婦人就要在她的族人中成為咒詛。

Numbers 5:27（KJV）And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell,and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

Numbers 5:27（NIV）If she has defiled herself and been unfaithful to her husband, then when she is made to drink the water that brings a curse, it will go into her and cause bitter suffering; her abdomen will swell and her thigh waste away, and she will become accursed among her people.

民5:28（UCV）若婦人沒有被玷污，卻是清潔的，就要免受這災，且要懷孕。

民5:28（NCV）但是，如果這婦人沒有被玷污，而是貞潔的，就不致受害，並且要懷孕生子。

Numbers 5:28（KJV）And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

Numbers 5:28（NIV）If, however, the woman has not defiled herself and is free from impurity, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children.

民5:29（UCV）妻子背著丈夫行了污穢的事，

民5:29（NCV）這是關於疑忌的律例：妻子在自己丈夫的權下，如果背離丈夫，被人玷污了；

Numbers 5:29（KJV）This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;

Numbers 5:29（NIV）"'This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while married to her husband,

Numbers 5:30（KJV）Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

Numbers 5:30（NIV）or when feelings of jealousy come over a manbecause he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the LORD and is to apply this entire law to her.
