Numbers 8:2（KJV）Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.

Numbers 8:2（NIV）"Speak to Aaron and sayto him, 'When you set up the seven lamps, they are to light the area in front of the lampstand.'"

Numbers 8:3（KJV）And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Numbers 8:3（NIV）Aaron did so; he set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand, just as the LORD commanded Moses.

民8:4（UCV）這燈臺的作法，是用金子錘出來的，連座帶花都是錘出來的。摩西製造燈臺，是照耶和華所指示的樣式。

Numbers 8:4（KJV）And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.

Numbers 8:4（NIV）This is how the lampstand was made: It was made of hammered gold--from its base to its blossoms. The lampstand was made exactly like the pattern the LORD had shown Moses.

Numbers 8:6（KJV）Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

民8:7（UCV）潔淨他們當這樣行：用除罪水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃頭刀刮全身，洗衣服，潔淨自己。

Numbers 8:7（KJV）And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

Numbers 8:7（NIV）To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes, and so purify themselves.

Numbers 8:8（KJV）Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.

Numbers 8:8（NIV） Have them take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; then you are to take a second young bull for a sin offering.

民8:9（UCV）將利未人奉到會幕前，招聚以色列全會眾。

Numbers 8:9（KJV）And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:

Numbers 8:9（NIV）Bring the Levites to the front of the Tent of Meeting and assemble the whole Israelite community.

Numbers 8:11（KJV）And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.

Numbers 8:11（NIV）Aaron is to present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the Israelites, so that they may be ready to do the work of the LORD.

民8:12（UCV）利未人要按手在那兩隻牛的頭上；你要將一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為利未人贖罪。

Numbers 8:15（KJV）And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.

Numbers 8:15（NIV）"After you have purified the Levites and presented them as a wave offering, they are to come to do their work at the Tent of Meeting.

Numbers 8:16（KJV） For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

Numbers 8:16（NIV） They are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to me. I have taken them as my own in place of the firstborn, the first male offspring from every Israelite woman.

民8:17（UCV）以色列人中一切頭生的，連人帶牲畜，都是我的。我在埃及地擊殺一切頭生的那天，將他們分別為聖歸我。

Numbers 8:17（KJV）For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

Numbers 8:17（NIV）Every firstborn male in Israel, whether man or animal, is mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set them apart for myself.

民8:18（UCV）我揀選利未人代替以色列人中一切頭生的。

Numbers 8:18（KJV）And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

Numbers 8:19（KJV）And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

Numbers 8:19（NIV）Of all the Israelites, I have given the Levites as gifts to Aaron and his sons to do the work at the Tent of Meeting on behalf of the Israelites and to make atonement for them so that no plague will strike the Israelites when they go near the sanctuary."

民8:20（UCV）摩西、亞倫並以色列全會眾，便向利未人如此行。凡耶和華指著利未人所吩咐摩西的，以色列人就向他們這樣行。

Numbers 8:20（KJV）And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.

Numbers 8:20（NIV）Moses, Aaron and the whole Israelite community did with the Levites just as the LORD commanded Moses.

民8:21（UCV）於是利未人潔淨自己，除了罪，洗了衣服，亞倫將他們當作搖祭，奉到耶和華面前，又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。

民8:21（NCV）於是利未人潔淨了自己，把衣服洗淨；亞倫把他們作搖祭獻在耶和華面前；亞倫又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。

Numbers 8:21（KJV）And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

Numbers 8:21（NIV）The Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes. Then Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the LORD and made atonement for them to purify them.

民8:22（UCV）然後利未人進去，在亞倫和他兒子面前，在會幕中辦事。耶和華指著利未人怎樣吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎樣向他們行了。

Numbers 8:22（KJV）And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.

Numbers 8:22（NIV）After that, the Levites came to do their work at the Tent of Meeting under the supervision of Aaron and his sons. They did with the Levites just as the LORD commanded Moses.

Numbers 8:23（KJV）And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Numbers 8:24（KJV）This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old andupward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

Numbers 8:24（NIV） "This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years old or more shall come to take part in the work at the Tent of Meeting,

民8:25（UCV）到了五十歲要停工退任，不再辦事。

Numbers 8:25（KJV）And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:

Numbers 8:25（NIV）but at the age of fifty, they must retire from their regular service and work no longer.

Numbers 8:26（KJV）But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.

Numbers 8:26（NIV）They may assist their brothers in performing their duties at the Tent of Meeting, but they themselves must not do the work. This, then, is how you are to assign the responsibilities of the Levites."
