申2:1（UCV）【在曠野四十年】此後，我們轉回，從紅海的路往曠野去，是照耶和華所吩咐我的。我們在西珥山繞行了許多日子。

申2:1（NCV）【曠野飄流】以後，我們照著耶和華吩咐我的，回轉過來，沿著往紅海的路起程到曠野去；我們在西珥山繞行了許多日子。

Deut 2:1（KJV）Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

Deut 2:1（NIV）【Wanderings in the Desert】Then we turned back and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea, as the LORD had directed me. For a long time we made our way around the hill country of Seir.

Deut 2:2（KJV）And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

Deut 2:2（NIV）Then the LORD said to me,

申2:3（CLV）『夠了，現在轉向北方吧！

Deut 2:3（KJV）Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Deut 2:3（NIV）"You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north.

申2:4（UCV）你吩咐百姓說：你們弟兄以掃的子孫住在西珥，你們要經過他們的境界。他們必懼怕你們，所以你們要分外謹慎。

申2:4（NCV）你要吩咐人民說：你們的兄弟以掃的子孫，住在西珥，你們現在要經過他們的境界；他們必懼怕你們，所以你們要十分謹慎。

申2:4（CLV）你去告訴眾人，他們會經過西珥，就是他們弟兄以掃的子孫所住的地方；那些以東人會十分敏感，所以要分外小心，

Deut 2:4（KJV）And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children ofEsau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

Deut 2:4（NIV）Give the people these orders: 'You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful.

申2:5（UCV）不可與他們爭戰；他們的地，連腳掌可踏之處，我都不給你們，因我已將西珥山賜給以掃為業。

申2:5（NCV）不可與他們爭執；他們的地，連腳掌那麼大的一塊，我都不給你們，因為我已經把西珥山賜給以掃作產業。

Deut 2:5（KJV）Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

Deut 2:5（NIV）Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own.

申2:6（UCV）你們要用錢向他們買糧吃，也要用錢向他們買水喝。

申2:6（NCV）你們要用銀子向他們買食物吃；也要用銀子向他們買水喝。

申2:6（CLV）你們吃的喝的，都要付錢。

Deut 2:6（KJV）Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

Deut 2:6（NIV）You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.'"

申2:7（UCV）因為耶和華你的　神，在你手裏所辦的一切事上，已賜福與你。你走這大曠野，他都知道了。這四十年，耶和華你的　神常與你同在，故此你一無所缺。

申2:7（NCV）因為耶和華你的　神，對於你手裏所作的一切事，都已經賜福給你；他也知道你怎樣走這大曠野；這四十年來，耶和華你們的　神常與你同在，使你毫無缺乏。』

申2:7（CLV）四十年來，你在荒野飄流，主你的上帝每一步都看顧你，使你一無所缺。』

Deut 2:7（KJV）For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

Deut 2:7（NIV） The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast desert. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.

申2:8（UCV）於是我們離了我們弟兄以掃子孫所住的西珥，從亞拉巴的路，經過以拉他、以旬迦別，轉向摩押曠野的路去。

申2:8（NCV）於是我們離開我們住在西珥的兄弟以掃的子孫，繼續前行；沿著亞拉巴的路，到了以拉他和以旬．迦別，然後轉向摩押曠野的路去。

申2:8（CLV）於是，我們經過我們弟兄以掃的地方西珥，走過亞拉巴的路，經過以拉他、以旬迦別，向北走往摩押荒野。

Deut 2:8（KJV）And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

Deut 2:8（NIV）So we went on past our brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We turned from the Arabah road, which comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber, and traveled along the desert road of Moab.

申2:9（UCV）耶和華吩咐我說：『不可擾害摩押人，也不可與他們爭戰。他們的地，我不賜給你為業，因我已將亞珥賜給羅得的子孫為業。

申2:9（NCV）耶和華對我說：『你不可敵視摩押人，也不可與他們爭戰；他們的地我不賜給你作產業，因為我已經把亞珥賜給了羅得的子孫作產業。

申2:9（CLV）主警告我們說：『不可攻擊摩押人，我不會把他們的土地給你們，因為我已把它賜給羅得的後裔。

Deut 2:9（KJV）And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

Deut 2:9（NIV）Then the LORD said to me, "Do not harass the Moabites or provoke them to war, for I will not give you any part of their land. I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession."

Deut 2:10（KJV）The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

Deut 2:10（NIV）(The Emites used to live there--a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites.

Deut 2:11（KJV）Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

Deut 2:12（KJV）The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

Deut 2:12（NIV）Horites used to live in Seir, but the descendants of Esau drove them out. They destroyed the Horites from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did in the land the LORD gave them as their possession.)

申2:13（UCV）『現在，起來過撒烈溪。』於是我們過了撒烈溪。

申2:13（NCV）現在你們要起來，過撒烈溪。』於是我們過了撒烈溪。

Deut 2:13（KJV）Now rise up, saidI, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

Deut 2:13（NIV）And the LORD said,"Now get up and cross the Zered Valley." So we crossed the valley.

申2:14（UCV）自從離開加低斯巴尼亞，到過了撒烈溪的時候，共有三十八年。等那世代的兵丁都從營中滅盡，正如耶和華向他們所起的誓。

Deut 2:14（KJV）And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

Deut 2:14（NIV）Thirty-eight years passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the LORD had sworn to them.

申2:15（UCV）耶和華的手也攻擊他們，將他們從營中除滅，直到滅盡。

Deut 2:15（KJV）For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

Deut 2:16（KJV）So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

Deut 2:17（KJV）That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

申2:18（CLV）『今天你們可以走過摩押的邊境亞珥，

Deut 2:18（KJV）Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

Deut 2:18（NIV）"Today you are to pass by the region of Moab at Ar.

申2:19（UCV）走近亞捫人之地，不可擾害他們，也不可與他們爭戰。亞捫人的地，我不賜給你們為業，因我已將那地賜給羅得的子孫為業。』

申2:19（NCV）你走近亞捫人面前的時候，不可敵視他們，也不可與他們爭執；亞捫人的地我不賜給你們作產業，因為我已經把那地賜給了羅得的子孫作產業。

申2:19（CLV）進入亞捫人的地方；但你們切不可攻擊他們，我不會把他們的土地給你的，因為我已經把地交給羅得的子孫。』

Deut 2:19（KJV） And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

Deut 2:19（NIV）When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot."

申2:20（UCV）（那地也算為利乏音人之地，先前，利乏音人住在那裏，亞捫人稱他們為散送冥。

Deut 2:20（KJV）(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

Deut 2:20（NIV）(That too was considered a land of the Rephaites, who used to live there; but the Ammonites called them Zamzummites.

申2:21（UCV）那民眾多，身體高大，像亞衲人一樣。但耶和華從亞捫人面前除滅他們，亞捫人就得了他們的地，接著居住。

Deut 2:21（KJV）A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

Deut 2:21（NIV）They were a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. The LORD destroyed them from before the Ammonites, who drove them out and settled in their place.

申2:22（UCV）正如耶和華從前為住西珥的以掃子孫，將何利人從他們面前除滅；他們得了何利人的地，接著居住一樣，直到今日。

申2:22（NCV）好像耶和華從前為住在西珥的以掃的子孫所作的一樣，就是把何利人從他們面前消滅，他們就佔領了他們的地業，住在他們那裏，直到今日。

Deut 2:22（KJV） As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

Deut 2:22（NIV）The LORD had done the same for the descendants of Esau, who lived in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them. They drove them out and have lived in theirplace to this day.

申2:23（UCV）從迦斐託出來的迦斐託人，將先前住在鄉村直到迦薩的亞衛人除滅，接著居住。）

Deut 2:23（KJV）And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

Deut 2:23（NIV）And as for the Avvites who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorites coming out from Caphtor destroyed them and settled in their place.)

申2:24（UCV）『你們起來前往，過亞嫩谷；我已將亞摩利人希實本王西宏和他的地，交在你手中。你要與他爭戰，得他的地為業。

申2:24（NCV）現在你要起來，出發，過亞嫩谷；看哪，我已經把亞摩利人希實本王西宏和他的土地，交在你的手裏了；你要開始佔領那地作產業，與他爭戰。

申2:24（CLV）主說：『起來走過亞嫩谷，攻打亞摩利人希實本王西宏，奪取他的土地；

Deut 2:24（KJV）Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

Deut 2:24（NIV）【Defeat of Sihon King of Heshbon】"Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle.

申2:25（UCV）從今日起，我要使天下萬民聽見你的名聲都驚恐懼怕，且因你發顫傷慟。』

申2:25（NCV）就在今天，我要使天下萬民聽見你的消息都驚慌懼怕，而且因你的緣故發抖疼痛。』

申2:25（CLV）從今天開始，我要使天下的人都要因你而害怕顫抖。』

Deut 2:25（KJV） This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

Deut 2:25（NIV）This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear ofyou on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you."

申2:26（UCV）【打敗希實本王西宏】我從基底莫的曠野差遣使者去見希實本王西宏。用和睦的話說：

申2:26（NCV）【擊敗希實本王西宏（民21:21-30）】我從基底莫的曠野，派使者到希實本王西宏那裏去，用和平的話說：

申2:26（CLV）於是，我派使者從基底莫荒野去見希實本王西宏，請求和平，說：

Deut 2:26（KJV）And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

Deut 2:26（NIV） From the desert of Kedemoth I sent messengers to Sihon king of Heshbon offering peace and saying,

申2:27（UCV）『求你容我從你的地經過，只走大道，不偏左右。

申2:27（NCV）『求你讓我從你的地經過；我只走大道，不偏左也不偏右。

申2:27（CLV）『請讓我從你的國土經過，我只走大路，不會偏向左右。

Deut 2:27（KJV）Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

Deut 2:27（NIV） "Let us pass through your country. We will stay on the main road; we will not turn aside to the right or to the left.

申2:28（UCV）你可以賣糧給我吃吃，也可以賣水給我喝，只要容我步行過去，

申2:28（NCV）你可以按著價錢把食物賣給我吃，也可以按著價錢把水賣給我喝；只要讓我步行過去就是了；

申2:28（CLV）我所吃所喝的，都會付錢；只求你批准我經過；

Deut 2:28（KJV）Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

Deut 2:28（NIV）Sell us food to eat and water to drink for their price in silver. Only let us pass through on foot--

申2:29（UCV）就如住西珥的以掃子孫，和住亞珥的摩押人待我一樣。等我過了約但河，好進入耶和華我們　神所賜給我們的地。

申2:29（NCV）好像住在西珥的以掃子孫，和住在西珥的摩押人待我一樣，等我過約旦河，進到耶和華我們的　神賜給我們的地去。』

申2:29（CLV）就像西珥的以東人和亞珥的摩押人准我走過他們的國境一樣。我的目的只是要過約旦河，到主我們的上帝給我們的地方去。』

Deut 2:29（KJV）(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

Deut 2:29（NIV）as the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir, and the Moabites, who live in Ar, did for us（NIV）until we cross the Jordan into the land the LORD our God is giving us."

申2:30（UCV）但希實本王西宏不容我們從他那裏經過。因為耶和華你的　神使他心中剛硬、性情頑梗，為要將他交在你手中，像今日一樣。

申2:30（NCV）但是希實本王西宏不肯讓我們從他那裏經過，因為耶和華我們的　神使他的心意頑固，使他的心剛硬，為要把他交在你的手裏，像今日一樣。

申2:30（CLV）西宏王卻拒絕我們的要求，因為主你們的上帝使他剛愎頑固，好使祂能藉以色列人的手毀滅西宏，正像今天一樣。

Deut 2:30（KJV）But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

Deut 2:30（NIV）But Sihon king of Heshbon refused to let us pass through. For the LORD your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as he has now done.

申2:31（UCV）耶和華對我說：『從此起首，我要將西宏和他的地交給你，你要得他的地為業。』

申2:31（NCV）耶和華對我說：『看哪，我已經把西宏和他的地交給你了，你可以佔領他的地作產業。』

申2:31（CLV）主又對我說：『我已經把西宏王的土地交給你了，去佔領它，使它永遠歸屬以色列。』」

Deut 2:31（KJV）And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

Deut 2:31（NIV）The LORD said to me, "See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land."

申2:32（UCV）那時，西宏和他的眾民出來攻擊我們，在雅雜與我們交戰。

申2:32（NCV）那時西宏和他所有的人民都出來，攻擊我們，在雅雜與我們作戰。

申2:32（CLV）西宏王出動所有軍隊在雅雜跟我們打仗；

Deut 2:32（KJV）Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

Deut 2:32（NIV）When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz,

申2:33（UCV）耶和華我們的　神將他交給我們，我們就把他和他的兒子，並他的眾民，都擊殺了。

申2:33（NCV）耶和華我們的　神把他交給了我們，我們就把他、他的兒子們，和他所有的人民都擊殺了。

申2:33（CLV）但主我們的上帝擊打他們，於是我們征服了西宏所有的城鎮，把所有人都殺掉，婦女和嬰孩也一個不留。

Deut 2:33（KJV）And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

Deut 2:33（NIV）the LORD our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army.

申2:34（UCV）我們奪了他的一切城邑，將有人煙的各城，連女人帶孩子，盡都毀滅，沒有留下一個。

申2:34（NCV）那時我們奪取了他所有的城邑，把每一座城，連男帶女，以及小孩子都全部毀滅，沒有留下一個存活的；

Deut 2:34（KJV）And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

申2:35（UCV）惟有牲畜，和所奪的各城，並其中的財物，都取為自己的掠物。

Deut 2:35（KJV）Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

Deut 2:35（NIV）But the livestock and the plunder from the towns we had captured we carried off for ourselves.

申2:36（UCV）從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥和谷中的城，直到基列，耶和華我們的　神都交給我們了，沒有一座城高得使我們不能攻取的。

Deut 2:36（KJV） From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

Deut 2:36（NIV）From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead, not one town was too strong for us. The LORD our God gave us all of them.

申2:37（UCV）惟有亞捫人之地，凡靠近雅博河的地，並山地的城邑，與耶和華我們　神所禁止我們去的地方，都沒有挨近。

申2:37（NCV）只有亞捫人之地，雅博河一帶的地方，和山地的城市，以及耶和華我們的　神吩咐我們不可去的地方，我們都沒有走近。

申2:37（CLV）但我們沒有侵犯亞捫人，也沒有走近雅博河和山區的城鎮，並主我們的上帝禁止我們到的地方。」

Deut 2:37（KJV）Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.

Deut 2:37（NIV）But in accordance with the command of the LORD our God, you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites, neither the land along the course of the Jabbok nor that around the towns in the hills.
