詩40:1（UCV）【蒙主救拔脫離苦難】｛大衛的詩，交與伶長。｝我曾耐性等候耶和華，祂垂聽我的呼求。

詩40:4（UCV）那倚靠耶和華，不理會狂傲和偏向虛假之輩的，這人便為有福！

詩40:4（CLV）信靠主的人一定蒙福，他們沒有誤信驕傲自大、信靠假神的人。

Psalm 40:4（KJV）Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

詩40:5（UCV）耶和華我的　神啊！你所行的奇事，並你向我們所懷的意念甚多，不能向你陳明；若要陳明，其事不可勝數。

Psalm 40:5（KJV）Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psalm 40:5（NIV）Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.
