49:1(UCV)【依仗錢財愚味之極】{可拉後裔的詩,交與伶長。}萬民哪!你們都當聽這話。世上一切的居民,

詩49:1(NCV)【富貴榮華不足倚靠】{可拉子孫的詩,交給詩班長。}萬民哪!你們要聽這話;世上的居民哪!你們要留心聽。

詩49:1(CLV)世上所有的人啊,你們不論貴賤貧富,都要來聽我的話。

Psalm 49:1(KJV)Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:

Psalm 49:1(NIV){ For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. } Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world,

詩49:2(UCV)無論上流下流,富足貧窮,都當留心聽!

詩49:2(NCV)不論地位高低,或貧或富,都要一同留心聽。

Psalm 49:2(KJV)Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

詩49:3(UCV)我口要說智慧的言語;我心要想通達的道理。

詩49:3(CLV)因為我的話充滿智慧和見識。

Psalm 49:3(KJV)My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psalm49:3(NIV)My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the utterance from my heart will give understanding.

詩49:4(UCV)我要側耳聽比喻,用琴解謎語。

詩49:4(NCV)我要留心聆聽箴言;我要彈琴解開謎語。

詩49:4(CLV)我要邊彈邊唱,用音律道出人生的一個重要問題:

Psalm 49:4(KJV)I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Psalm 49:4(NIV)I will turn my ear to a proverb; with the harp I will expound my riddle:

詩49:5(UCV)在患難的日子,奸惡隨我腳跟,四面環繞我,我何必懼怕?

詩49:5(NCV)在患難的日子,暗中逼害我的惡人圍繞我的時候,我何須懼怕呢?

詩49:5(CLV)為甚麼要懼怕苦難的來臨、仇敵四面的圍攻呢?

Psalm 49:5(KJV)Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?

Psalm 49:5(NIV)Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me(NIV)

詩49:6(UCV)那些倚仗財貨自誇錢財多的人,

詩49:6(NCV)他們倚靠財富,自誇多財。

詩49:6(CLV)為甚麼要害怕那些倚靠錢財、誇耀財富的人呢?

Psalm 49:6(KJV)They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

Psalm 49:6(NIV)those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches?

詩49:7(UCV)一個也無法贖自己的弟兄,也不能替他將贖價給 神,

詩49:7(NCV)但他們沒有一個能把他的兄弟贖回,或把他的贖價交給 神,

詩49:7(CLV)即使他們富有如君王,也不能把自己的兄弟從上帝的手中買贖出來。

Psalm 49:7(KJV)None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

Psalm 49:7(NIV) No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him--

詩49:8(UCV)叫他長遠活著,不見朽壞,因為贖他生命的價值極貴,只可永遠罷休。

詩49:8(NCV)(因為他生命的贖價非常昂貴,只好永遠放棄,)

詩49:8(CLV)生命的價值實在太高了,遠非世上財富所能買贖,就是用上世間所有的財富,也不能使一個人永遠活著,免受死亡朽壞。

Psalm 49:8(KJV)(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

Psalm 49:8(NIV)the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough--

詩49:9(UCV)*併入第8節中

詩49:9(NCV)使他永遠活著,不見朽壞。

詩49:9(CLV)*併入第8節中

Psalm 49:9(KJV)That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

Psalm 49:9(NIV)that he should live on forever and not see decay.

詩49:10(UCV)他必見智慧人死,又見愚頑人和畜類人一同滅亡,將他們的財貨留給別人。

詩49:10(NCV)他看見智慧人死去,愚昧人和愚頑人一同滅亡,把他們的財產留給別人。

詩49:10(CLV)不論是聰明的人、愚蠢的人、或是無知的人,都難免一死,積蓄來的財富,還不是要留給後人嗎?

Psalm 49:10(KJV)For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

Psalm 49:10(NIV)For all can see that wise men die; the foolish and the senseless alike perish and leave their wealth to others.

詩49:11(UCV)他們心裏思想:他們的家室必永存,住宅必留到萬代;他們以自己的名稱自己的地。

詩49:11(NCV)他們心裏想,他們的家必永存,他們的住處必留到萬代;他們以自己的名,稱自己的地方。

詩49:11(CLV)他們用自己的名字來為產業命名,以為自己能永遠擁有它,可以永遠安居其上。

Psalm 49:11(KJV)Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

Psalm 49:11(NIV)Their tombs will remain their houses forever, their dwellings for endless generations, though they had named lands after themselves.

詩49:12(UCV)但人居尊貴中不能長久,如同死亡的畜類一樣。

詩49:12(NCV)但是人不能長享富貴;他們就像要滅亡的牲畜一樣。

詩49:12(CLV)儘管人有許多可誇的東西,也總要像走獸一樣死去。

Psalm 49:12(KJV)Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

Psalm 49:12(NIV)But man, despite his riches, does not endure; he is like the beasts that perish.

詩49:13(UCV)他們行的這道,本為自己的愚昧,但他們以後的人還佩服他們的話語。《細拉》

詩49:13(NCV)這就是愚昧人的道路;但在他們以後的人,還欣賞他們的話。《細拉》

詩49:13(CLV)愚昧人的命運就是這樣,認同他們愚昧的也是一樣!

Psalm 49:13(KJV)This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

Psalm 49:13(NIV)This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah

詩49:14(UCV)他們如同羊群派定下陰間,死亡必作他們的牧者。到了早晨,正直人必管轄他們。他們的美容必被陰間所滅,以致無處可存。

詩49:14(NCV)他們好像羊群被派定下陰間;死亡必作他們的牧人。到了早晨,正直人要管轄他們;他們的形體必被陰間消滅,他們再沒有住處。

詩49:14(CLV)死亡就是他們的牧者;到了早晨,惡人就要成為正直人的奴僕,他們死後的軀體就被陰間吞噬,再也無處容身了。

Psalm 49:14(KJV)Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

Psalm 49:14(NIV)Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

Psalm 49:15(NIV)But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself. Selah

詩49:15(UCV)只是 神必救贖我的靈魂脫離陰間的權柄,因祂必收納我。《細拉》

詩49:15(NCV)只 神必救贖我的靈魂脫離陰間的權勢,因為他必把我接去。《細拉》

詩49:15(CLV)至於我,上帝會將我的生命從死亡的權勢中買贖出來,祂必會接待我。

Psalm 49:15(KJV)But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

詩49:16(UCV)見人發財、家室增榮的時候,你不要懼怕,

詩49:16(NCV)別人發財,家室增榮的時候,你不要懼怕。

詩49:16(CLV)因此,他人雖然日益富有,家中堆滿財寶,我也不會沮喪;

Psalm 49:16(KJV)Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

Psalm 49:16(NIV)Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases;

詩49:17(UCV)因為他死的時候,甚麼也不能帶去,他的榮耀不能隨他下去。

詩49:17(NCV)因為他死的時候,甚麼也不能帶走;他的榮華也不能隨他下去。

詩49:17(CLV)因為他們死後,甚麼也不能帶走,榮譽也不能追隨他們。

Psalm 49:17(KJV)For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

Psalm 49:17(NIV)for he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with him.

詩49:18(UCV)他活著的時候,雖然自誇為有福(你若利己,人必誇獎你),

詩49:18(NCV)他在世的時候,雖然自稱是有福的,並且說:「你只要富足,人就稱讚你。」

詩49:18(CLV)儘管一個人慶幸自己終生快樂,舉世也同聲讚揚他的成就。

Psalm 49:18(KJV)Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

Psalm 49:18(NIV)Though while he lived he counted himself blessed-and men praise you when you prosper--

詩49:19(UCV)他仍必歸到他歷代的祖宗那裏,永不見光!

詩49:19(NCV)他還要歸到他歷代的祖宗那裏去,永不再見光明。

詩49:19(CLV)到頭來他還是要死去,再也看不見亮光。

Psalm 49:19(KJV)He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

Psalm 49:19(NIV)he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of life.

詩49:20(UCV)人在尊貴中而不醒悟,就如死亡的畜類一樣。

詩49:20(NCV)人享富貴而不聰明,就要像滅亡的牲畜一樣。

詩49:20(CLV)因為儘管人擁有許多可誇的東西,他仍要像所有的走獸一樣死去。

Psalm 49:20(KJV)Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.

Psalm 49:20(NIV)A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts that perish.
