約7:1（UCV）【耶穌上去過住棚節】這事以後，耶穌在加利利遊行，不願在猶太遊行，因為猶太人想要殺祂。

約7:1（NCV）【耶穌的弟弟不信祂】這事以後，耶穌周遊加利利，不願在猶太往來，因為猶太人想要殺他。

約7:1（CLV）這事以後，耶穌再不願到猶太去了，因為那裏的人想要殺祂，所以祂就遍遊加利利省各村莊。

John 7:1（KJV）After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

John 7:1（NIV）【Jesus Goes to the Feast of Tabernacles】After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life.

約7:2（UCV）當時，猶太人的住棚節近了，

John 7:2（KJV）Now the Jewsfeast of tabernacles was at hand.

約7:3（UCV）耶穌的弟兄就對他說：「你離開這裏上猶太去吧，叫你的門徒也看見你所行的事。

約7:3（NCV）耶穌的弟弟就對他說：「你應當離開這裏上猶太去，好讓你的門徒也可以看見你所行的事；

約7:3（CLV）耶穌的弟弟嘲笑祂說：「到猶太去過節吧！好讓你的門徒在那裏也看見你所做的啊！

John 7:3（KJV）His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

John 7:3（NIV）Jesusbrothers said to him, "You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do.

約7:4（UCV）人要顯揚名聲，沒有在暗處行事的；你如果行這些事，就當將自己顯明給世人看。」

約7:4（NCV）因為沒有人想引人注目，卻在暗處行事的。你既然行這些事，就應該向世人顯明自己。」

約7:4（CLV）如果人要揚名，就不會偷偷摸摸，你既然可以做這些事，為甚麼不公開顯給世人看呢？」

John 7:4（KJV）For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

John 7:4（NIV）No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world."

約7:5（UCV）因為連祂的弟兄說這話，是因為不信祂。

約7:5（NCV）原來連祂的弟弟也不信祂。

約7:5（CLV）連祂的弟弟也不相信祂！

John 7:5（KJV）For neither did his brethren believe in him.

John 7:5（NIV）For even his own brothers did not believe in him.

約7:6（UCV）耶穌就對他們說：「我的時候還沒有到；你們的時候常是方便的。

約7:6（NCV）耶穌就對他們說：「我的時候還沒有到，你們的時候卻常常是方便的。

John 7:6（KJV）Then Jesus said unto them,My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

John 7:6（NIV）Therefore Jesus told them,"The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right.

約7:7（UCV）世人不能恨你們，卻是恨我，因為我指證他們所作的事是惡的。

John 7:8（KJV）Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto thisfeast: for my time is not yet full come.

約7:9（UCV）耶穌說了這話，仍就住在加利利。

約7:9（NCV）他說了這些話以後，仍然住在加利利。

John 7:9（KJV）When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

John 7:10（KJV）But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

約7:11（UCV）正在節期，猶太人尋找耶穌說：「他在那裏？」

John 7:11（KJV）Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

John 7:11（NIV）Now at the Feast the Jews were watching for him and asking, "Where is that man?"

約7:12（UCV）眾人為他紛紛議論，有的說：「他是好人。」有的說：「不然，他是迷惑眾人的。」

約7:12（NCV）群眾因祂紛紛議論，有的說：「他是好人。」有的說：「不，他是欺騙眾人的。」

John 7:12（KJV）And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

John 7:12（NIV）Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said, "He is a good man." Others replied, "No, he deceives the people."

約7:13（UCV）只是沒有人明明的講論祂，因為怕猶太人。

John 7:14（KJV）Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

John 7:14（NIV）【Jesus Teaches at the Feast】 Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach.

約7:15（UCV）猶太人就希奇說：「這個人沒有學過，怎麼明白書呢？」

約7:15（NCV）猶太人就希奇，說：「這個人沒有學過，怎會通曉經書呢﹖」

約7:15（CLV）猶太人覺得很奇怪，說：「這個沒有受過高深教育的人，怎麼會懂得這麼多的聖經呢？」

John 7:15（KJV）And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

John 7:15（NIV）The Jews were amazed and asked, "How did this man get such learning without having studied?"

約7:16（UCV）耶穌說：「我的教訓不是我自己的，乃是那差我來者的。

約7:16（NCV）耶穌說：「我的教訓不是我自己的，而是出於那差我來的。

約7:16（CLV）耶穌說：「我教訓你們的，不是我自己的道理，乃是那差我來者的道理。

John 7:16（KJV）Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

John 7:16（NIV） Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me.

約7:17（UCV）人若立志遵著祂的旨意行，就必曉得這教訓或是出於　神，或是我憑著自己說的。

約7:17（NCV）人若願意遵行　神的旨音，就會知道這教訓是出於　神，還是我憑著自己的意思說的。

約7:17（CLV）如果你們決心遵行上帝的旨意，就能分辨這些教訓是出於上帝還是出於我自己。

John 7:17（KJV）If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

John 7:17（NIV）If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

約7:18（UCV）人憑著自己說，是求自己的榮耀；惟有求那差他來者的榮耀，這人是真的，在他心裏沒有不義。

約7:18（NCV）那憑著自己的意思說的，是求自己的榮譽；但那尋求差祂來者的榮耀的，才是真誠的人，在他裏面沒有不義。

約7:18（CLV）憑自己意思做事的人是要誇耀自己，只有求差祂來的上帝的榮耀的人，才是真實公義。

John 7:18（KJV）He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 7:18（NIV）He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

約7:19（UCV）【不可按外貌定是非】摩西豈不是傳律法給你們麼？你們卻沒有一個人守律法。為甚麼想要殺我呢？」

約7:19（NCV）摩西不是曾經把律法傳給你們嗎﹖你們竟然沒有一個人遵行律法。你們為甚麼想要殺我呢﹖」

約7:19（CLV）摩西不是把律法傳了給你們嗎？你們竟沒有一個遵守！為甚麼想要殺我呢？」

John 7:19（KJV）Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

John 7:19（NIV）Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?"

約7:20（UCV）眾人回答說：「你是被鬼附著了，誰想要殺你？」

約7:20（NCV）眾人回答：「你是鬼附的，誰想要殺你呢﹖」

約7:20（CLV）「你一定是被鬼迷住了！誰說要殺你啊？」

John 7:20（KJV）The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

John 7:20（NIV）"You are demon-possessed," the crowd answered. "Who is trying to kill you?"

約7:21（UCV）耶穌說：「我作了一件事，你們都以為希奇。

約7:21（NCV）耶穌說：「我行了一件事，你們都以為希奇。

約7:21（CLV）耶穌說：「我在安息日醫好了一個病人，你們就覺得希奇嗎？

John 7:21（KJV）Jesus answered and said unto them,I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

John 7:21（NIV）Jesus said to them, "I did one miracle, and you are all astonished.

約7:22（UCV）摩西傳割禮給你們（其實不是從摩西起的，乃是從祖先起的），因此你們也在安息日給人行割禮。

約7:22（NCV）摩西曾經把割禮傳給你們（其實割禮不是從摩西開始的，而是從列祖開始的），因此，你們在安息日也給人行割禮。

約7:22（CLV）摩西把割禮的律法傳下來，（其實割禮不是摩西所定的，乃是在我們祖先的時候就已經有了。）

John 7:22（KJV）Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

John 7:22（NIV）Yet, because Moses gave you circumcision (though actually it did not come from Moses, but from the patriarchs), you circumcise a child on the Sabbath.

約7:23（UCV）人若在安息日受割禮，免得違背摩西的律法；我在安息日叫一個人全然好了，你們就向我生氣麼？

約7:23（NCV）如果人在安息日行割禮，為的是要遵守摩西的律法，那麼我在安息日使一個人痊愈，你們就向我生氣嗎﹖

約7:23（CLV）你們為了避免破壞摩西的律法，所以行割禮的那一天就算是安息日，還是照樣的做。

John 7:23（KJV）If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

John 7:23（NIV）Now if a child can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me for healing the whole man on the Sabbath?

約7:24（UCV）不可按外貌斷定是非，總要按公平斷定是非。」

約7:24（NCV）不要按外貌判斷人，總要公公平平地判斷人。」

約7:24（CLV）我在安息日醫好一個病人，你們為甚麼責怪我呢？不要根據外表來斷定是非，只要按事實，公道地判斷才是。」

John 7:24（KJV）Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

John 7:24（NIV）Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment."

約7:25（UCV）耶路撒冷人中有的說：「這不是他們想要殺的人麼？

約7:25（NCV）當時，有些耶路撒冷人說：「這不是他們想要殺的人嗎﹖

約7:25（CLV）有些住在耶路撒冷的人說：「這不是他們要殺的那個人嗎？

John 7:25（KJV）Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

John 7:25（NIV）【Is Jesus the Christ?】 At that point some of the people of Jerusalem began to ask, "Isn't this the man they are trying to kill?

約7:26（UCV）你看他還明明的講道，他們也不向他說甚麼，難道官長真知道這是基督麼？

約7:26（NCV）你看，他還在公開地講話，竟然沒有人對他說甚麼，難道官長們真的認為這個人就是基督嗎﹖

約7:26（CLV）你看祂居然這樣公開地講道。可是現在還沒有人採取行動，難道長官也改變了主意，認為祂真是基督嗎？

John 7:26（KJV）

　But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

John 7:26（NIV）Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Christ?

約7:27（UCV）然而我們知道這個人從那裏來；只是基督來的時候，沒有人知道他從那裏來。」

約7:27（NCV）可是我們知道這個人是從哪裏來的，只是基督來的時候，沒有人知道他是從哪裏來的！」

約7:27（CLV）這是絕對不可能的。基督來的時候，根本就沒有人知道祂從哪裏來，我們卻知道這個人是從哪裏來的。」

John 7:27（KJV）Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

John 7:27（NIV）But we know where this man is from; when the Christ comes, no one will know where he is from."

約7:28（UCV）那時耶穌在殿裏教訓人，大聲說：「你們也知道我，也知道我從那裏來；我來並不是由於自己，但那差我來的是真的。你們不認識祂，

約7:28（NCV）當時耶穌在殿裏教導人，大聲說：「你們以為認識我，也知道我從哪裏來，其實我不是憑著自己的意思來的，但那差我來的是真實的，你們卻不認識他。

約7:28（CLV）於是耶穌就在聖殿裏高聲教訓人說：「你們都很清楚我的來歷，其實不是我自己來的，乃是那真誠可靠的上帝差我到你們這裏來的；你們卻不認識祂，

John 7:28（KJV）Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

John 7:28（NIV）Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts, cried out,"Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him,

約7:29（UCV）我卻認識祂，因為我是從祂來的，祂也是差了我來。」

約7:29（NCV）然而我認識祂，因為我從祂那裏來，也是他差我來的。」

約7:29（CLV）只有我才認識祂，因為我本來和祂在一起，差我來的就是祂。」

John 7:29（KJV）But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

約7:30（UCV）【打發差役捉拿耶穌】他們就想要捉拿耶穌，只是沒有人下手，因為祂的時候還沒有到。

約7:30（NCV）於是他們想逮捕祂，只是沒有人下手，因為祂的時候還沒有到。

約7:30（CLV）猶太人的領袖聽了，就想抓耶穌。奇怪的是竟沒有人下手，這是因為上帝所定的時候還沒有到。

John 7:30（KJV）Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

John 7:30（NIV）At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his time had not yet come.

約7:31（UCV）但眾人中間有好些信祂的，說：「基督來的時候，他所行的神蹟豈能比這人所行的更多麼？」

約7:31（NCV）群眾中有許多人信了祂。他們說：「基督來的時候，他所行的神蹟，能比這人所行的更多嗎﹖」

約7:31（CLV）在群眾裏有許多信耶穌的人紛紛說：「基督來的時候，所行的神蹟難道會比這個人更多嗎？」

John 7:31（KJV）And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

John 7:31（NIV）Still, many in the crowd put their faith in him. They said, "When the Christ comes, will he do more miraculous signs than this man?"

約7:32（UCV）於是耶穌說：「我還有不多的時候和你們同在，以後就回到差我來的那裏去。

約7:32（NCV）法利賽人聽見群眾紛紛議論這些關於耶穌的事，祭司長和法利賽人就派差役去逮捕耶穌。

約7:32（CLV）祭司長和法利賽人聽見群眾這樣議論耶穌，就派人去抓祂。

John 7:32（KJV）The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

John 7:32（NIV）The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about him. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him.

約7:33（UCV）於是耶穌說、我還有不多的時候和你們同在，以後就回到差我來的那裏去。

約7:33（NCV）於是耶穌說：「我跟你們在一起的時候不多了，我要回到那差我來的那裏去。

約7:33（CLV）耶穌對眾人說：「我暫時還會跟你們在一起，不久卻要回到那差我來的上帝那裏去。

John 7:33（KJV）Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

John 7:33（NIV）Jesus said,"I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me.

約7:34（UCV）你們要找我，卻找不著；我所在的地方，你們不能到。」

約7:34（NCV）你們要尋找我，卻找不著；我所在的地方，你們是不能去的。」

約7:34（CLV）那時你們要找我，卻找不到，而且我所在的地方，你們也不能到。」

John 7:34（KJV）Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

John 7:34（NIV）You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come."

約7:35（UCV）猶太人就彼此對問說：「這人要往那裏去，叫我們找不著呢？難道他要往散住希利尼中的猶太人那裏去教訓希利尼人麼？

約7:35（NCV）猶太人彼此說：「這個人要到哪裏去，使我們找不著他呢﹖難道他要到散居在希臘人中的猶太人那裏，去教導希臘人嗎﹖

約7:35（CLV）猶太人不明白這句話，就彼此說：「祂要到哪裏去呢？甚麼地方是我們不能去的？難道祂要到外國去教訓希臘人嗎？

John 7:35（KJV）Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

John 7:35（NIV）The Jews said to one another, "Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

約7:36（UCV）他說『你們要找我，卻找不著，我所在的地方，你們不能到』，這話是甚麼意思呢？」

約7:36（NCV）他說『你們要尋找我，卻找不著；我所在的地方，你們是不能去的』這話，是甚麼意思呢﹖」

約7:36（CLV）祂說我們找不到祂，又不能到那個地方去，是甚麼意思？」

John 7:36（KJV）What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

John 7:36（NIV）What did he mean when he said, 'You will look for me, but you will not find me,' and'Where I am, you cannot come'?"

約7:37（UCV）【活水的江河】節期的末日，就是最大之日，耶穌站著高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裏來喝。

約7:37（NCV）節期的最後一天，就是最隆重的那一天，耶穌站著高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裏來喝！

約7:37（CLV）節期最後的一天，也是整個節期的高潮，耶穌高聲對群眾說：「誰口渴，可以到我這裏來喝。

John 7:37（KJV）In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

John 7:37（NIV）On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.

約7:38（UCV）信我的人，就如經上所說，從他腹中要流出活水的江河來。」

約7:38（NCV）信我的人，就像聖經所說的，從他的腹中要湧流出活水的江河來。」

約7:38（CLV）相信我的人，要像聖經所說的：『從祂裏面要流出活水的江河來。』」

John 7:38（KJV）He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 7:38（NIV）Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

約7:39（UCV）耶穌這話是指著信祂之人要受聖靈說的；那時還沒有賜下聖靈來，因為耶穌尚未得著榮耀。

John 7:39（NIV）By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

約7:40（UCV）眾人聽見這話，有的說：「這真是那先知。」

John 7:40（KJV）Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

John 7:41（KJV）Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

John 7:41（NIV）Others said, "He is the Christ." Still others asked, "How can the Christ come from Galilee?

約7:42（UCV）上豈不是說，基督是大衛的後裔，從大衛本鄉伯利恆出來的麼？」

約7:42（NCV）聖經不是說基督是大衛的後裔，是從大衛本鄉伯利恆出來的嗎﹖」

John 7:42（KJV）Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

John 7:42（NIV）Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?"

約7:45（UCV）【愚頑的猶太領袖】差役回到祭司長和法利賽人那裏，他們對差役說：「你們為甚麼沒有帶他來呢？」

約7:45（NCV）差役回到祭司長和法利賽人那裏。他們就問差役：「你們為甚麼沒有把他帶來﹖」

約7:45（CLV）祭司長和法利賽人看見差役空手回來，就問：「你們為甚麼不把祂逮捕回來呢？」

John 7:45（KJV）Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?

John 7:45（NIV）【Unbelief of the Jewish Leaders】Finally the temple guards went back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, "Why didn't you bring him in?"

約7:46（UCV）差役回答說：「從來沒有像他這樣說話的。」

約7:46（CLV）「我們從未聽過像祂這樣教訓人的。」

John 7:46（KJV）The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

John 7:46（NIV）"No one ever spoke the way this man does," the guards declared.

約7:47（UCV）法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑麼？

約7:47（NCV）法利賽人說：「連你們也受了欺騙嗎﹖

約7:47（CLV）「難道你們也被祂迷惑了嗎？

John 7:47（KJV）Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?

John 7:47（NIV）"You mean he has deceived you also?" the Pharisees retorted.

約7:48（UCV）官長或是法利賽人豈有信他的呢？

約7:48（NCV）官長或法利賽人中間有誰是信他的呢﹖

約7:48（CLV）我們猶太人的領袖和法利賽人哪裏有相信他是救主基督的呢？

John 7:48（KJV）Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

John 7:48（NIV）"Has any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed in him?

約7:49（UCV）但這些不明白律法的百姓是被咒詛的。」

約7:49（NCV）至於這群不明白律法的人，他們是可咒詛的。」

約7:49（CLV）只有那不明白律法的民眾才會信祂。他們都是該死的！」法利賽人憤怒地說。

John 7:49（KJV）But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.

John 7:49（NIV）No! But this mob that knows nothing of the law--there is a curse on them."

約7:50（UCV）內中有尼哥底母，就是從前去見耶穌的，對他們說：

約7:50（NCV）他們當中有一個人，就是以前來見耶穌的尼哥德慕，對他們說：

約7:50（CLV）曾經夜訪耶穌的尼哥德慕當時也在場，他是猶太人的領袖，對大家說：

John 7:50（KJV）Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

John 7:50（NIV）Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus earlier and who was one of their own number, asked,

約7:51（UCV）「不先聽本人的口供，不知道他所作的事，難道我們的律法還定他的罪麼？」

約7:51（NCV）「如果不先聽取人的口供，查明他所作的事，我們的律法怎能把他定罪呢﹖」

約7:51（CLV）「難道我們的律法是不容許被告申辯，不查明事實的真相就定罪的嗎？」

John 7:51（KJV）Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

John 7:51（NIV）"Does our law condemn anyone without first hearing him to find out what he is doing?"

約7:52-53（UCV）他們回答說：「你也是出於加利利麼？你且去查考，就可知道加利利沒有出過先知。」

約7:52（NCV）他們回答：「你也是從加利利出來的嗎﹖你去考查一下，就知道先知是不會從加利利興起的。」

約7:52（CLV）他們聽了，就罵他說：「難道你也是加利利人嗎？你去查查看，就會知道加利利從來沒有出過甚麼先知啊！」

John 7:52（KJV）They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

John 7:52（NIV）They replied, "Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee." The earliest and most reliable manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have.
