約8:1（UCV）【拿淫婦來質難主】於是各人都回家去了，耶穌卻往橄欖山去，

John 8:1（KJV）Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

John 8:1（NIV）But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

約8:2（UCV）清早又回到殿裏。眾百姓都到祂那裏去，祂就坐下教訓他們。

約8:2（NCV）黎明的時候，他又到聖殿去，眾人都來到他那裏，祂就坐下教導他們。

John 8:2（KJV）And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

John 8:3（KJV）And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

約8:4（UCV）就對耶穌說：「夫子，這婦人是正行淫之時被拿的。

約8:4（NCV）就對耶穌說：「先生，這婦人是正在犯姦淫的時候被抓到的。

約8:4（CLV）然後問耶穌說，「老師，這個女人是在通姦時被捉到的；

John 8:4（KJV）They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

John 8:4（NIV）and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.

約8:5（UCV）摩西在律法上吩咐我們，把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。你說該把她怎麼樣呢？」

約8:5（NCV）摩西在律法上吩咐我們把這樣的婦人用石頭打死，你怎麼說呢﹖」

約8:5（CLV）按摩西的律法，我們是要用石頭把這個女人打死，你說該怎麼辦她呢？」

John 8:5（KJV）Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

John 8:5（NIV）In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"

約8:6（UCV）他們說這話，乃試探耶穌，要得著告祂的把柄。耶穌卻彎著腰用指頭在地上畫字。

約8:6（NCV）他們說這話是要試探耶穌，要找把柄來控告祂。耶穌卻彎下身，用指頭在地上寫字。

約8:6（CLV）他們這樣問，是要使耶穌落在他們的圈套裏，可以有藉口控告祂。耶穌卻不理他們，只是彎著腰，用指頭在地上寫字。

John 8:6（KJV）This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

John 8:6（NIV）They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.

約8:7（UCV）他們還是不住的問祂，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說：「你們中間誰是沒有罪的，誰就可以先拿石頭打她。」

約8:7（NCV）他們不住地問耶穌，祂就挺起身來，說：「你們中間誰是沒有罪的，他就可以先拿起石頭打她。」

約8:7（CLV）他們不斷地追問耶穌，於是耶穌就把身體挺起來，說：「你們中間誰沒有犯過罪，就先拿石頭打她吧。」

John 8:7（KJV）So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them,He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

John 8:7（NIV）When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

約8:8（UCV）於是又彎著腰用指頭在地上畫字。

John 8:8（KJV）And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

約8:9（UCV）他們聽見這話，就從老到少一個一個的都出去了，只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。

約8:9（NCV）他們聽了這話，就從年老的開始，一個一個地都離開了，留的下只有耶穌和那個還站在那裏的婦人。

約8:9（CLV）他們聽了這句話，都覺得問心有愧，於是從老到少，一個一個默然溜走了。最後，只剩下耶穌和那個女人在那裏。

John 8:9（KJV）And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

John 8:9（NIV）At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.

約8:10（UCV）【不要再犯罪】耶穌就直起腰來，對她說：「婦人，那些人在那裏呢？沒有人定你的罪麼？」

約8:10（NCV）耶穌挺起身來，問她：「婦人，他們在哪裏﹖沒有人定你的罪嗎﹖」

約8:10（CLV）耶穌站起來，說，「他們到哪裏去了？沒有人定你的罪嗎？」

John 8:10（KJV）When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

John 8:10（NIV）Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"

約8:11（UCV）她說：「主啊，沒有。」耶穌說：「我也不定你的罪，去吧！從此不要再犯罪了。」

約8:11（NCV）　她說：「主啊！沒有。」耶穌說：「我也不定你的罪。走吧，從現在起不要再犯罪了。」

約8:11（CLV）「先生，沒有。」「我也不定你的罪，回去吧。從今以後，不要再犯罪了。」

John 8:11（KJV）She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

John 8:11（NIV）"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

約8:12（UCV）【主是世界的光】耶穌又對眾人說：「我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得著生命的光。」

約8:12（NCV）耶穌又對眾人說：「我是世界的光，跟從我的，必定不在黑暗裏走，卻要得著生命的光。」

約8:12（CLV）後來，耶穌在講道的時候對眾人說：「我是世界的光，凡跟從我的，就不會在黑暗裏面摸索；並且必得到生命的光，而他走的路也就明亮了。」

John 8:12（KJV）Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12（NIV）【The Validity of Jesus' Testimony】When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

約8:13（UCV）法利賽人對祂說：「你是為自己作見證，你的見證不真。」

約8:13（NCV）法利賽人對他說：「你為自己作證，你的見證不是真實的。」

約8:13（CLV）「你自己證明自己，哪裏可靠？哪裏有效？」法利賽人說。

John 8:13（KJV）The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.

John 8:13（NIV）The Pharisees challenged him, "Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid."

約8:14（UCV）耶穌說：「我雖然為自己作見證，我的見證還是真的，因我知道我從那裏來，往那裏去。你們卻不知道我從那裏來，往那裏去。

約8:14（NCV）耶穌回答：「即使我為自己作證，我的見證還是真實的，因為我知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去，但你們卻不知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去。

約8:14（CLV）耶穌說：「雖然我自己證明自己，仍是真實的；因為我清楚自己是從哪裏來和到哪裏去的，你們卻不知道我的來歷和去處。

John 8:14（KJV）Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.

John 8:14（NIV）Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.

約8:15（UCV）你們是以外貌〔原文作『憑肉身』〕判斷人，我卻不判斷人；

約8:15（NCV）你們按著外貌判斷人，我卻不判斷人。

約8:15（CLV）你們裁定別人，只憑外表而不根據事實，可是我卻不判斷人。

John 8:15（KJV）Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

John 8:15（NIV）You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.

約8:16（UCV）就是判斷人，我的判斷也是真的，因為不是我獨自在這裏，還有差我來的父與我同在。

約8:16（NCV）即使我判斷人，我的判斷也是正確的，因為我不是獨自一人，而是差我來的父和我在一起。

John 8:16（KJV）And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

John 8:16（NIV）But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.

約8:17（UCV）你們的律法上也記著說：『兩個人的見證是真的。』

約8:17（NCV）你們的律法上也寫著：『兩個人的見證才是真的。』

約8:17（CLV）我們的律法不是說：兩個人作的證供就有效嗎？

John 8:17（KJV）It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

John 8:17（NIV）In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid.

約8:18（UCV）我是為自己作見證，還有差我來的父也是為我作見證。」

約8:18（NCV）我為自己作證，差我來的父也為我作證。」

約8:18（CLV）現在我不單是自己證明自己，同時差我來的父親也為我作證。」

John 8:18（KJV）I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

John 8:18（NIV）I am onewho testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me."

約8:19（UCV）他們就問祂說：「你的父在那裏？」耶穌回答說：「你們不認識我，也不認識我的父；若是認識我，也就認識我的父。」

約8:19（NCV）他們問：「你的父在哪裏﹖」耶穌回答：「你們不認識我，也不認識我的父；如果你們認識我，也就認識我的父了。」

約8:19（CLV）「你的父親在哪裏？」耶穌回答說：「你們不認識我，又怎會認識我的父親呢？如果你們知道我是誰，也就知道我父親是誰了。」

John 8:19（KJV）Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father:if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

John 8:19（NIV）Then they asked him, "Where is your father?" "You do not knowme or my Father," Jesus replied. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also."

約8:20（UCV）這些話是耶穌在殿裏的庫房教訓人時所說的，也沒有人拿祂，因為祂的時候還沒有到。

約8:20（NCV）這些話是耶穌在殿裏教導人的時候，在銀庫的院中說的。當時沒有人逮捕祂，因為祂的時候還沒有到。

約8:20（CLV）耶穌在聖殿的庫房這樣教訓人的時候，竟沒有人抓祂，因為祂的時候還沒有到。

John 8:20（KJV）These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

John 8:20（NIV）He spoke these words while teaching in the temple area near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his time had not yet come.

約8:21（UCV）【不信主的必死在罪中】耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們要找我，並且你們要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你們不能到。」

約8:21（NCV）耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們要尋找我，並且要在自己的罪中死亡；我去的地方，你們不能到。」

約8:21（CLV）耶穌又對他們說：「我要走了，以後你們要找我也找不到，因為我去的地方，你們不能跟著去，而且你們要在罪中死亡。」

John 8:21（KJV）Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

John 8:21（NIV）Once more Jesus said to them,"I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come."

約8:22（UCV）猶太人說：「他說『我所去的地方，你們不能到』，難到他要自盡麼？」

約8:22（NCV）於是猶太人說：「他說『我去的地方，你們不能到』，難到他要自盡嗎﹖」

約8:22（CLV）猶太人聽了就彼此說：「為甚麼他說他去的地方我們不能去？難道他想自殺嗎？」

John 8:22（KJV）Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

John 8:22（NIV）This made the Jews ask, "Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come'?"

約8:23（UCV）耶穌對他們說：「你們是從下頭來的；我是從上頭來的。你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。

約8:23（NCV）耶穌說：「你們是從地上來的，我是從天上來的；你們屬這世界，我卻不屬這世界，

約8:23（CLV）耶穌解釋說：「你們是從下面上來，是屬於這個世界的；而我是從上面下來，是屬於天的。

John 8:23（KJV）And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 8:23（NIV）But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

約8:24（UCV）所以我對你們說，你們要死在罪中；你們若不信我是基督，必要死在罪中。」

約8:24（NCV）所以我對你們說，你們要在自己的罪中死亡；你們若不信我就是『那一位』，就要在自己的罪中死亡。」

約8:24（CLV）所以我說你們要死在罪中，除非你們相信我就是救主基督，不然，你們一定會死在自己的罪中。」

John 8:24（KJV）I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 8:24（NIV）I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

約8:25（UCV）他們就問祂說：「你是誰？」耶穌對他們說：「就是我從起初所告訴你們的。

約8:25（NCV）他們就問：「你是誰﹖」耶穌說：「我不是從起初就告訴你們嗎﹖

約8:25（CLV）「你到底是誰啊？」耶穌回答說：「我不是早就告訴了你們嗎？

John 8:25（KJV）Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them,Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

John 8:25（NIV）"Who are you?" they asked."Just what I have been claiming all along," Jesus replied.

約8:26（UCV）我有許多事講論你們，判斷你們，但那差我來的是真的，我在祂那裏所聽見的，我就傳給世人。」

約8:26（NCV）關於你們，我有許多事要說，要判斷；但那差我來的是真實的，我在祂那裏聽見的，就告訴世人。」

約8:26（CLV）有許多事情我要教訓你們，也有許多事情我要定你們的罪，但我沒有這樣做。我只是照著差我來的那一位的吩咐去做，因祂是誠信可靠的。」

John 8:26（KJV）I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

John 8:26（NIV）"I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is reliable, and what I have heard from him I tell the world."

約8:27（UCV）他們不明白耶穌是指著父說的。

約8:27（NCV）他們不明白耶穌是對他們講論父的事。

約8:27（CLV）他們仍然不明白耶穌是指著上帝說的。

John 8:27（KJV）They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

John 8:27（NIV）They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father.

約8:28（UCV）所以耶穌說：「你們舉起人子以後，必知道我是基督，並且知道我沒有一件事是憑著自己作的；我說這些話，乃是照著父所教訓我的。

約8:28（NCV）所以耶穌說：「你們舉起了人子以後，必定知道我就是『那一位』，並且知道我不憑著自己作甚麼事；我說的這些話，是照著父所教導我的。

約8:28（CLV）耶穌再解釋說：「當我被你們舉起了以後，你們就知道我是救主基督，並且知道我沒有一件事是照著我自己的意思去做的，而是全都照著我父親的吩咐去做的。

John 8:28（KJV）Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 8:28（NIV）So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.

約8:29（UCV）那差我來的，是與我同在；祂沒有撇下我獨自在這裏，因為我常作祂所喜悅的事。」

約8:29（NCV）那差我來的和我同在，他沒有留下我獨自一人，因為我常作祂喜悅的事。」

約8:29（CLV）差我來的父親跟我在一起，祂沒有撇下我，因為我做的都是祂所歡喜的。」

John 8:29（KJV）And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 8:29（NIV）The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him."

約8:30（UCV）耶穌說這話的時候，就有許多人信祂。

約8:30（NCV）耶穌說這些話的時候，就有許多人信了祂。

約8:30（CLV）許多人因著這番話，就信了祂。

John 8:30（KJV）As he spake these words, many believed on him.

John 8:30（NIV）Even as he spoke, many put their faith in him.

約8:31（UCV）【真理叫人自由】耶穌對信祂的猶太人說：「你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒。

約8:31（NCV）於是耶穌對信了他的猶太人說：「你們若持守我的道，就真是我的門徒了；

約8:31（CLV）耶穌對信祂的猶太人說：「你們照著我的教訓去做，就真的是我的門徒了。

John 8:31（KJV）Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

John 8:31（NIV）【The Children of Abraham】To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

約8:32（UCV）你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。」

約8:32（NCV）你們必定認識真理，真理必定使你們自由。」

約8:32（CLV）這樣你們必明白真理，真理也必叫你們得著自由。」

John 8:32（KJV）And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:32（NIV）Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

約8:33（UCV）他們回答說：「我們是亞伯拉罕的後裔，從來沒有作過誰的奴僕．你怎麼說『你們必得以自由』呢？」

約8:33（NCV）他們說：「我們是亞伯拉罕的後裔，從來沒有被誰奴役過，你怎麼說『你們必得自由』呢﹖」

約8:33（CLV）「我們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，從來沒有作過奴隸，你為甚麼說我們可以得著自由呢？」

John 8:33（KJV）They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

John 8:33（NIV）They answered him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?"

約8:34（UCV）耶穌回答說：「我實實在在的告訴你們，所有犯罪的，就是罪的奴僕。

約8:34（NCV）耶穌說：「我實實在在告訴你們，凡犯罪的都是罪的奴隸。

約8:34（CLV）「我確實地告訴你們，所有犯罪的人，都是罪的奴隸。

John 8:34（KJV）Jesus answered them,Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

John 8:34（NIV）Jesus replied,"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.

約8:35（UCV）奴僕不能永遠住在家裏，兒子是永遠住在家裏。

約8:35（NCV）奴隸不能永遠住在家裏，唯有兒子才可以永遠住在家裏。

約8:35（CLV）奴隸沒有權永遠留在主人的家裏，只有兒子才可以。

John 8:35（KJV）And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

John 8:35（NIV）Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.

約8:36（UCV）所以天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。

約8:36（NCV）所以，　神的兒子若使你們自由，你們就真的得自由了。

約8:36（CLV）果上帝的兒子釋放了你們，你們就真正自由了！

John 8:36（KJV）If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

John 8:36（NIV）So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

約8:37（UCV）【伯拉罕的真子孫】我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，你們卻想要殺我，因為你們心裏容不下我的道。

約8:37（NCV）我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的後裔；但你們想殺我，因為你們心裏不能容納我的道。

約8:37（CLV）我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，但你們正在找藉口來殺我，因為你們心裏容不下我傳的道。

John 8:37（KJV）I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

John 8:37（NIV）I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word.

約8:38（UCV）我所說的，是在我父那裏看見的；你們所行的，是在你們的父那裏聽見的。」

約8:38（NCV）我所說的，是我在父那裏看見的；但你們所作的，卻是從你們的父那裏聽見的。」

約8:38（CLV）我所傳揚的，是我從父親那裏聽到的，可是你們卻照著你們父親的樣子去做。」

John 8:38（KJV）I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

John 8:38（NIV）I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father."

約8:39（UCV）他們說：「我們的父就是亞伯拉罕。」耶穌說：「你們若是亞伯拉罕的兒子，就必行亞伯拉罕所行的事。

約8:39（NCV）他們說：「我們的父就是亞伯拉罕。」耶穌說：「你們若是亞伯拉罕的子孫，就必作亞伯拉罕所作的。

約8:39（CLV）「我們的父親就是亞伯拉罕！」「不是，你們如果真是亞伯拉罕的子孫，就一定做他所做的事。

John 8:39（KJV）They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them,If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

John 8:39（NIV）"Abraham is our father," they answered. "If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus,"then you would do the things Abraham did.

約8:40（UCV）我將在　神那裏所聽見的真理告訴了你們，現在你們卻想要殺我，這不是亞伯拉罕所行的事。

約8:40（NCV）現在我把從　神那裏聽見的真理告訴了你們，你們竟然想殺我，這不是亞伯拉罕所作的。

約8:40（CLV）我把從上帝那裏聽到的真理告訴你們，你們反要殺我，這絕不是亞伯拉罕所做的事。

John 8:40（KJV）But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

John 8:40（NIV）As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.

約8:41（UCV）你們是行你們父所行的事。」他們說：「我們不是從淫亂生的，我們只有一位父，就是　神。」

約8:41（NCV）你們要作的，正是你們的父要作的。」他們說：「我們不是從淫亂生的；我們只有一位父，就是　神。」

約8:41（CLV）你們是在行你們父親所做的事。」「我們不是苟合生的！我們只有一位父親，就是上帝。」

John 8:41（KJV）Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
