John 12:3（NIV）Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

John 12:5（KJV）Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

John 12:5（NIV）"Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages."

約12:6（UCV）他說這話，並不是掛念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。

John 12:7（KJV）Then said Jesus,Let her alone： against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

John 12:7（NIV）"Leave her alone," Jesus replied."It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.

約12:8（UCV）因為常有窮人和你們同在，只是你們不常有我。」

約12:9（UCV）有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裏，就來了；不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死裏所復活的拉撒路。

John 12:9（KJV）Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there： and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

約12:16（UCV）這些事門徒起先不明白，等到耶穌得了榮耀以後，纔想起這話是指著祂寫的，並且眾人果然向祂這樣行了。

John 12:16（KJV）These things understood not his disciples at the first： but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

John 12:16（NIV）At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.

約12:17（UCV）當耶穌呼喚拉撒路叫他從死復活出墳墓的時候，同耶穌在那裏的眾人就作見證。

約12:17（NCV）那些和耶穌在一起，看見他叫拉撒路從墳墓出來，又使他從死人中復活的群眾，都為這事作見證。

John 12:17（KJV）The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

約12:18（UCV）眾人因聽見耶穌行了這神蹟，就去迎接祂。

John 12:19（KJV）The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

John 12:19（NIV）So the Pharisees said to one another, "See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!"

約12:20（UCV）【外邦人求助主】那時，上來過節禮拜的人中，有幾個希利尼，

John 12:20（KJV）And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast：

John 12:20（NIV）【Jesus Predicts His Death】Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the Feast.

約12:21（UCV）他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力，求他說：「先生，我們願意見耶穌。」

John 12:21（KJV）The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

John 12:21（NIV）They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. "Sir," they said, "we would like to see Jesus."

約12:22（UCV）腓力去告訴安得烈，安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。

約12:25（UCV）愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命；在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。

約12:26（UCV）若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在那裏，服事我的人也要在那裏。若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。

John 12:27（KJV）Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour:but for this cause came I unto this hour.

John 12:27（NIV）"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

約12:28（UCV）父啊！願你榮耀你的名。」'當時就有聲音從天上來說：' 「我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。」

約12:34（NCV）於是群眾對他說：「我們從律法上知道基督是永遠常存的，你怎麼說『人子必須被舉起來』呢﹖這人子是誰呢﹖」

約12:34（CLV）眾人驚奇地問：「我們從律法書上知道，救主基督是永遠長存的，你怎麼說`要被舉起來'呢？這是指著誰說的？」

John 12:34（KJV）The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever： and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

John 12:34（NIV）The crowd spoke up, "We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever, so how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this 'Son of Man'?"

約12:35（UCV）耶穌對他們說：「光在你們中間還有不多的時候，應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗臨到你們；那在黑暗裏行走的，不知道往何處去。

約12:35（NCV）耶穌說：「光在你們中間的時候不多了。你們應當趁著有光的時候行走，免得黑暗追上你們。在黑暗中行走的人，不知道往哪裏去。

約12:35（CLV）耶穌對他們說：「光在你們中間照耀的時候不多了，你們要趁著有光的時候走路。黑夜快來了；那時，在黑暗裏的人，根本就不知道何去何從。

John 12:35（KJV）Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you： for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

John 12:35（NIV）Then Jesus told them,"You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going.

約12:36（UCV）你們應當趁著有光，信從這光，使你們成為光明之子。」耶穌說了這話，就離開他們，隱藏了。

約12:42（CLV）雖然這樣，仍有很多猶太的官員相信耶穌，只是在法利賽人面前不敢公開承認，免得被革除教籍。

John 12:42（KJV）Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

John 12:49（NIV）For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.
