約13:1（UCV）【耶穌為門徒洗腳】逾越節以前，耶穌知道自己離世歸父的時候到了。祂既然愛世間屬自己的人，就愛他們到底。

約13:1（NCV）逾越節以前，耶穌知道自己離開這世界回到父那裏去的時候到了。祂既然愛世上屬於自己的人，就愛他們到底。

約13:1（CLV）逾越節之前，耶穌知道自己快要離開世界，回到父上帝那裏了；祂既然愛世界上屬自己的人，就愛他們到底。

John 13:1（KJV）Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 13:1（NIV）【Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet】It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.

John 13:2（KJV）And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

John 13:2（NIV）The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus.

約13:3（UCV）耶穌知道父已將萬有交在他手裏，且知道自己是從　神出來的，又要歸到　神那裏去；

約13:3（NCV）耶穌知道父已經把萬有交在祂手中，並且知道自己從　神而來，又要回到　神那裏去，

John 13:3（KJV）Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

約13:4（UCV）就離席站起來脫了衣服，拿一條手巾束腰，

約13:6（UCV）約 13:6--挨到西門彼得，彼得對祂說：「主啊！你洗我的腳麼？」

John 13:6（KJV）Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

John 13:6（NIV）He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"

約13:7（UCV）耶穌回答說：「我所作的，你如今不知道，後來必明白。」

約13:7（NCV）耶穌回答：「我所作的，你現在不知道，以後就會明白。」

約13:7（CLV）耶穌回答說：「我這樣做，你現在雖然不明白，將來一定會明白的。」

John 13:7（KJV）Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

John 13:7（NIV）Jesus replied,"You do not realize now what I amdoing, but later you will understand."

約13:8（UCV）彼得說：「你永不可洗我的腳！」耶穌說：「我若不洗你，你就與我無分了。」

約13:8（NCV）彼得說：「不行，你千萬不可洗我的腳！」耶穌說：「如果我不洗你的腳，你就與我沒有關係了。」

約13:8（CLV）彼得堅持說：「你絕對不可以給我洗腳。」耶穌說：「如果不讓我洗你的腳，你我就沒有關係了。」

John 13:8（KJV）Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

John 13:8（NIV）"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered,"Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

約13:9（UCV）西門彼得說：「主啊！不但我的腳，連手和頭也要洗。」

約13:9（NCV）西門．彼得說：「主啊，那就不單洗我的腳，連我的手和頭都洗吧！」

約13:9（CLV）西門彼得聽了就要求：「主啊，那麼連手和頭也給我洗吧。」

John 13:9（KJV）Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

John 13:9（NIV）"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"

約13:10（UCV）耶穌說：「凡洗過澡的人，只要把腳一洗，全身就乾淨了。你們是乾淨的，然而不都是乾淨的。」

約13:10（NCV）耶穌說：「洗過澡的人，全身都潔淨，只需要洗腳就可以了。你們是乾淨的，但不是人人都是這樣。」

　耶穌說：「凡洗過澡的人，只要洗洗腳就完全潔淨了。你們是乾淨的，但不是每一個都乾淨。」

　Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

　Jesus answered,"A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you."

約13:11（UCV）耶穌原知道要賣祂的是誰，所以說：「你們不都是乾淨的。」

John 13:12（KJV）So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

John 13:12（NIV）When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place."Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them.

約13:13（UCV）你們稱呼我夫子，稱呼我主，你們說的不錯，我本來是。

John 13:13（KJV）Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

約13:14（UCV）我是你們的主，你們的夫子，尚且洗你們的腳，你們也當彼此洗腳。

約13:15（UCV）我給你們作了榜樣，叫你們照著我向你們所作的去做。

約13:17（UCV）你們既知道這事，若是去行就有福了。

約13:17（NCV）你們既然知道這些事，如果去實行，就有福了。

John 13:17（KJV）If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

John 13:17（NIV）Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

約13:18（UCV）【耶穌預言有人要賣祂】我這話不是指著你們眾人說的，我知道我所揀選的是誰。現在要應驗經上的話，說：『同我吃飯的人，用腳踢我。』

約13:18（NCV）我這話不是指著你們全體說的；我認識我所揀選的人，但是經上的話：『那吃我飯的，用他的腳踢我』，必須應驗。

約13:18（CLV）我這話不是指著你們每一個人說的，因為我知道我揀選的是誰。聖經說：『吃我飯的人，要用腳踢我。』

John 13:18（KJV）I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

John 13:18（NIV）【Jesus Predicts His Betrayal】"I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the scripture: 'He who shares my bread has lifted up his heel against me.'

約13:19（UCV）如今事情還沒有成就，我要先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候，可以信我是基督。

約13:19（NCV）現在，事情還沒有發生，我就告訴你們，使你們到時可以信我就是『那一位』。

約13:19（CLV）這話快要應驗了。我在事情還沒有發生之前，預先告訴你們，待事情發生以後，你們就可以相信我是救主基督。

John 13:19（KJV）Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

John 13:19（NIV）"I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am He.

約13:20（UCV）我實實在在的告訴你們，有人接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待那差遣我的。」

約13:20（NCV）我實實在在告訴你們，那接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我的，就是接待那差我來的。」

約13:20（CLV）我告訴你們，人若接待我所差派的，就是接待了我，接待我的，也就是接待了那位差我來的父上帝。」

John 13:20（KJV）Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

John 13:20（NIV）I tell you the truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me."

約13:21（UCV）耶穌說了這話，心裏憂愁，就明說：「我實實在在的告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我了。」

約13:21（NCV）耶穌說了這話，心裏很難過，就明明地說：「我實實在在告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要出賣我。」

約13:21（CLV）這時，耶穌心亂如麻，便說：「我確實地告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我。」

John 13:21（KJV）When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said,Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

John 13:21（NIV）After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, "I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me."

約13:22（UCV）門徒彼此對看，猜不透所說的是誰。

約13:22（NCV）門徒面面相覷，不知道祂是指著誰說的。

John 13:22（KJV）Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.

John 13:22（NIV）His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant.

約13:23（UCV）有一個門徒，是耶穌所愛的，側身挨近耶穌的懷裏。

約13:23（NCV）門徒中有一個人，是耶穌所愛的，他坐在耶穌旁邊。

約13:23（CLV）西門彼得向耶穌所愛的那個門徒點頭示意，意思是叫他問耶穌，出賣祂的到底是誰？那門徒本來就靠近耶穌，

John 13:23（KJV）Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

John 13:23（NIV）One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.

約13:24（UCV）西門彼得點頭對他說：「你告訴我們，主是指著誰說的。」

約13:24（NCV）西門．彼得向他示意，叫他問耶穌是指著誰說的。

John 13:24（KJV）Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

John 13:24（NIV）Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, "Ask him which one he means."

約13:25（UCV）那門徒便就勢靠著耶穌的胸膛，問祂說：「主啊！是誰呢？」

約13:25（NCV）於是那個門徒貼近耶穌的胸膛，問他：「主啊，是誰呢﹖」

約13:25（CLV）於是他便乘機挨近耶穌，問耶穌說：「主啊，是誰呢？」

John 13:25（KJV）He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

John 13:25（NIV）Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?"

約13:26（UCV）耶穌回答說：「我蘸一點餅給誰，就是誰。」耶穌就蘸了一點餅，遞給加略人西門的兒子猶大。

約13:26（NCV）耶穌回答：「我蘸一小塊餅給誰，誰就是了。」於是他蘸了一小點餅，遞給加略人西門的兒子猶大。

約13:26（CLV）耶穌回答說：「我蘸一點餅給誰，就是誰。」耶穌就蘸了一點餅，遞給加略人西門的兒子猶大。

John 13:26（KJV）Jesus answered,He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

John 13:26（NIV）Jesus answered, "It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish." Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.

約13:27（UCV）他吃了以後，撒但就入了他的心。耶穌便對他說：「你所作的，快作吧！」

約13:27（NCV）猶大接過餅以後，撒但就進入他的心。耶穌對他說：「你要作的，快去作吧。」

約13:27（CLV）猶大吃了，撒但就進入他的心裏。耶穌對他說：「你趕快去做要做的事吧。」

John 13:27（KJV）And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, Thatthou doest, do quickly.

John 13:27（NIV）As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. "What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him,

約13:28（UCV）同席的人，沒有一個知道是為甚麼對他說這話。

約13:28（NCV）在座的人，沒有一個知道耶穌為甚麼對猶大說這話。

約13:28（CLV）同桌吃飯的人沒有人明白耶穌這句話的意思。

John 13:28（KJV）Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

John 13:28（NIV）but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.

約13:29（UCV）有人因猶大帶著錢囊，以為耶穌是對他說：『你去買我們過節所應用的東西』，或是叫他拿甚麼賙濟窮人。

約13:29（NCV）猶大是管錢的，所以有人以為耶穌叫他去買過節用的東西，或是吩咐他拿點東西去賙濟窮人。

約13:29（CLV）因為猶大是管錢的，他們就以為耶穌是叫他去買過節用的東西，或者是給窮人送些甚麼去。

John 13:29（KJV）For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

John 13:29（NIV）Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor.

約13:30（UCV）猶大受了那點餅，立刻就出去。那時候是夜間了。

約13:30（NCV）猶大吃了餅，立刻就出去；那時是黑夜了。

約13:30（CLV）猶大吃過那塊餅以後，立刻出去，跟著就消失在黑暗裏。

John 13:30（KJV）He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

John 13:30（NIV）As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.

約13:31（UCV）【主賜一條新命令】他既出去，耶穌就說：「如今人子得了榮耀，　神在人子身上也得了榮耀。

約13:31（NCV）他出去以後，耶穌就說：「現在人子得了榮耀，　神也在人子身上得了榮耀，

約13:31（CLV）猶大出去以後，耶穌就說：「現在我快要得著榮耀了，上帝也要在我身上得著榮耀。

John 13:31（KJV）Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said,Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

John 13:31（NIV）【Jesus predicts Peter's Denial】When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him.

約13:32（UCV）　神要因自己榮耀人子，並且要快快地榮耀祂。

約13:32（NCV）（　神既然在人子身上得了榮耀，）〔有些抄本無此句〕也要在自己身上榮耀人子，並且要立刻榮耀他。

約13:32（CLV）上帝既然在我身上得了榮耀，也要把自己的榮耀賜給我，並且這事馬上就要實現了。

John 13:32（KJV）If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

John 13:32（NIV）If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

約13:33（UCV）小子們，我還有不多的時候與你們同在，後來你們要找我，但我所去的地方，你們不能到。這話我曾對猶太人說過，如今也照樣對你們說。

約13:33（NCV）孩子們啊，我跟你們在一起的時候不多了。你們要尋找我，但是我對猶太人說過，現在也照樣對你們說：『我去的地方，是你們不能去的。』

約13:33（CLV）孩子們，我與你們同在的時間不多了；以後你們要找我，但我所去的地方，你們不能去。這句話我以前曾經向猶太人說過，現在也告訴你們。

John 13:33（KJV）Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

John 13:33（NIV）"My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

約13:34（UCV）我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。

約13:34（NCV）我給你們一條新命令，就是要你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。

John 13:34（KJV）A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 13:34（NIV）"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

約13:35（UCV）你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」

John 13:35（KJV）By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

約13:36（UCV）【預言彼得不認主】西門彼得問耶穌說：「主往那裏去？」耶穌回答說：「我所去的地方，你現在不能跟我去，後來卻要跟我去。」

約13:36（NCV）西門．彼得對耶穌說：「主啊，你往哪裏去﹖」耶穌回答：「我去的地方，你現在不能跟著我去；但後來卻要跟著我去。」

約13:36（CLV）「主啊，你要到哪裏去？」西門彼得問耶穌說。耶穌回答說！「我要去的地方，現在你不能去，但將來卻必定跟我去。」

John 13:36（KJV）Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

John 13:36（NIV）Simon Peter asked him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus replied, "Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later."

約13:37（UCV）彼得說：「主啊！我為甚麼現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命。」

約13:37（NCV）彼得說：「主啊，為甚麼我現在不能跟著你去﹖為了你，我捨命也願意！」

約13:37（CLV）「為甚麼我現在不能跟你去呢？就是為你死，我也願意！」

John 13:37（KJV）Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

John 13:37（NIV）Peter asked, "Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."

約13:38（UCV）耶穌說：「你願意為我捨命麼？我實實在在的告訴你，雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。

約13:38（NCV）耶穌說：「你願意為我捨命嗎﹖我實實在在告訴你，雞叫之前，你必定三次不認我。」

約13:38（CLV）「你真的願意為我死嗎？我告訴你，雞啼以前，你要三次不認我。」

John 13:38（KJV）Jesus answered him,Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow,till thou hast denied me thrice.

John 13:38（NIV）Then Jesus answered,"Will you really lay down your life for me? I tell you the truth, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!
