約14:1（UCV）【安慰門徒的心】你們心裏不要憂愁；你們信　神，也當信我。

約14:1（NCV）「你們心裏不要難過，你們應當信　神，也應當信我。

約14:1（CLV）耶穌繼續說：「你們不要憂愁，你們要相信上帝，也要相信我。

John 14:1（KJV）Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

John 14:1（NIV）【Jesus Comforts His Disciples】"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.

約14:2（UCV）在我父的家裏，有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了。我去原是為你們預備地方去。

約14:2（NCV）在我父的家裏，有許多住的地方；如果沒有，我怎麼會告訴你們我去是要為你們預備地方呢﹖〔下半節或譯： 『如果沒有，我早就對你們說了，因為我去是為你們預備地方。』〕

約14:2（CLV）因為我父上帝的家裏面，有許多的地方，不然，我怎麼會說是為你們預備地方去呢？

約14:2（KJV） In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

約14:2（NIV）In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

約14:3（UCV）我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裏去；我在那裏，叫你們也在那裏。

約14:3（NCV）我若去為你們預備地方，就必再來接你們到我那裏去，好使我在哪裏，你們也在那裏。

約14:3（CLV）我預備好了以後，必定回來接你們到我那裏去，讓你們和我永遠在一起。

約14:3（KJV）And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

約14:3（NIV） And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

約14:4（UCV）我往那裏去，你們知道；那條路，你們也知道〔有古卷作『我往那裏去，你們知道那條路』〕。」

約14:4（NCV）我去的地，你們知道那條路。」

約14:4（CLV）我去的地方，你們是知道的；而且你們也曉得怎樣去。」

約14:4（KJV）And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

約14:4（NIV）You know the way to the place where I am going."

約14:5（UCV）多馬對祂說：「主啊！我們不知道你往那裏去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」

約14:5（NCV）多馬說：「主啊，我們不知道你去的地方，怎能知道那條路呢﹖」

約14:5（CLV）多馬說：「主啊，你要去哪裏，我們還搞不清楚，又怎麼會曉得怎樣去呢？」

約14:5（KJV） Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

約14:5（NIV）【Jesus the Way to the Father】Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"

約14:6（UCV）【主為道路真理生命】耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去。

約14:6（NCV）耶穌對他說：「我就是道路、真理、生命，如果不是藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去。

約14:6（CLV）耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命，沒有人是不靠我而可以到父上帝那裏去的。

約14:6（KJV）Jesus saith unto him,I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

約14:6（NIV）Jesus answered,"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

約14:7（UCV）你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識祂，並且已經看見祂。」

約14:7（NCV）如果你們認識我，就必認識我的父；從今以後，你們認識他，並且看見了他。」

約14:7（CLV）如果你們認識我，也就認識我的父上帝。現在，你們已經認識了祂，而且也見過祂。」

約14:7（KJV）If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

約14:7（NIV）If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

約14:8（UCV）腓力對祂說：「求主將父顯給我們看，我們就知足了。」

約14:8（NCV）腓力說：「主啊，請把父顯示給我們，我們就滿足了。」

約14:8（CLV）「求你讓我們看看父上帝，我們就心滿意足了。」腓力要求祂說。

約14:8（KJV）Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

約14:8（NIV）Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

約14:9（UCV）耶穌對他說：「腓力，我與你們同在這樣長久，你還不認識我麼？人看見了我，就是看見了父。你怎麼說『將父顯給我們看』呢？

約14:9（NCV）耶穌說：「腓力，我跟你們在一起這麼久了，你還不認識我嗎﹖那看見了我的就是看見了父，你怎麼還說『把父顯示給我們』呢﹖

約14:9（CLV）耶穌說：「腓力，我和你們相處了這麼久，你還不認識我嗎？看見我就是看見父上帝了，你怎麼會說要看看父上帝呢？

約14:9（KJV）Jesus saith unto him,Have I been so long time with you,and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

約14:9（NIV）Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,Show us the Father'?

約14:10（UCV）我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信麼？我對你們所說的話，不是憑著自已說的，乃是住在我裏面的父做祂自己的事。

約14:10（NCV）你不信我是在父裏面，父是在我裏面嗎﹖我對你們說的話，不是憑著自已說的，而是住在我裏面的父作他自己的事。

約14:10（CLV）難道你不相信我是在父上帝裏面，父上帝也在我裏面嗎？我這些話，不是照我自己的意思講的，而是住在我裏面的父上帝要用我來做祂的工作。

約14:10（KJV） Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

約14:10（NIV） Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

約14:11（UCV）你們當信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即或不信，也當因我所做的事信我。

約14:11（NCV）你們應當信我是在父裏面，父是在我裏面；不然，也要因我所作的而相信。

約14:11（CLV）你們應當相信我是在父上帝裏面，父上帝也在我裏面，不然，也應該因我所行的神蹟相信我。

約14:11（KJV） Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very workssake.

約14:11（NIV） Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

約14:12（UCV）我實實在在的告訴你們，我所做的事，信我的人也要做；並且要做比這更大的事，因為我往父那裏去。

約14:12（KJV） Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

約14:12（NIV）I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

約14:13（UCV）你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。

約14:13（NCV）你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必定成全，使父在子的身上得著榮耀。

約14:13（CLV）你們以我的名義無論求甚麼，我必完成，好讓父上帝因兒子得著榮耀。

約14:13（KJV）And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorifiedin the Son.

約14:14（UCV）你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。

約14:15（UCV）【應許賜保惠師】你們若愛我，就必遵守我的命令。

約14:15（NCV）「如果你們愛我，就要遵守我的命令。

約14:15（NIV）【Jesus promises the Holy Spirit】"If you love me, you will obey what I command.

約14:16（UCV）我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師〔或作『訓慰師』，下同〕，叫祂永遠與你們同在；

約14:16（NCV）我要請求父，他就會賜給你們別一位保惠師，使他跟你們永遠在一起。

約14:16（CLV）我要求父上帝賜一位保惠師給你們，就是真理的靈，祂要永遠和你們同在。

約14:16（KJV）And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

約14:17（UCV）就是真理的聖靈，乃世人不能接受的，因為不見祂，也不認識祂．你們卻認識祂，因祂常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。

約14:17（NCV）這保惠師就是真理的靈，世人不能接受他，因為看不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因為他跟你們住在一起，也要在你們裏面。

約14:17（CLV）世人不接受祂，因為他們看不見祂，也不認識祂；但你們卻認識祂，因祂常與你們同在，並且住在你們裏面。

約14:17（KJV）Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

約14:17（NIV） the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

約14:18（UCV）我不撇下你們為弧兒，我必到你們這裏來。

約14:18（NCV）我不會撇下你們為弧兒，我要回到你們這裏來。

約14:18（CLV）我不會撇下你們，讓你們孤苦無依，我必到你們這裏來。

約14:18（KJV）I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

約14:18（NIV）I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

約14:19（UCV）還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我；你們卻看見我，因為我活著，你們也要活著。

約14:19（KJV） Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

約14:20（UCV）到那日你們就知道我在父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。

約14:20（NIV） On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

約14:21（UCV）【愛主的必遵守主道】有了我的命令又遵守的，這人就是愛我的；愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也要愛他，並且要向他顯現。」

約14:21（NCV）那領受我的命令，並且遵守的，就是愛我的；愛我的，我父必定愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。」

約14:21（CLV）接受我命令而又肯遵行的，就是愛我的人。愛我的，父上帝必定愛他，我也要愛他，而且向他顯明我自己。」

約14:21（KJV） He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

約14:21（NIV）Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

約14:22（UCV）猶大（不是加略人猶大）問耶穌說：「主啊！為甚麼要向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？」

約14:22（NCV）猶大（不是加略人猶大）對耶穌說：「主啊，你為甚麼要親自向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢﹖」

約14:22（CLV）猶大（不是後來出賣耶穌的猶大）問耶穌說：「主啊，你為甚麼只向我們顯現而不向世人顯現呢？」

約14:22（KJV）Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

約14:22（NIV）Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"

約14:23（UCV）耶穌回答說：「人若愛我，就必遵守我的道；我父也必愛他，並且我們要到祂那裏去，與祂同住。

約14:23（NCV）耶穌回答：「人若愛我，就要遵守我的話，我父必定愛他，並且我們要到他那裏去，跟他住在一起。

約14:23（CLV）耶穌回答說：「愛我的人必遵行我的道，我的父上帝也必愛他，並且我們要到他那裏，與他們同在。

約14:23（KJV）Jesus answered and said unto him,If a man love me, hewill keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

約14:23（NIV）Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

約14:24（UCV）不愛我的人就不遵守我的道。你們所聽見的道不是我的，乃是差我來之父的道。

約14:24（NCV）不愛我的，就不會遵守我的話。你們所聽見的道，不是我的，而是那差我來的父的道。

約14:24（CLV）不愛我的人，就不遵行我的道；其實，你們所聽見的道不是我的，而是差我來的父上帝的。

約14:24（KJV） He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

約14:24（NIV） He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

約14:25（UCV）我還與你們同住的時候，已將這些話對你們說了。

約14:25（NCV）「我還跟你們在一起的時候，就對你們講了這些事。

約14:25（CLV）我趁著還與你們在一起的時候，便把這些事情都告訴你們了。

約14:25（KJV）These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

約14:25（NIV）"All this I have spoken while still with you.

約14:26（UCV）但保惠師，就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈，祂要將一切的事指教你們，並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。

約14:26（NCV）但保惠師，就是父因我的名要差來的聖靈，他要把一切事教導你們，也要使你們想起我對你們所說過的一切話。

約14:26（CLV）但保惠師--就是父上帝因我的緣故，所要差來的聖靈，會把一切的事情，以及我對你們說過的話，教導你們，提醒你們的。

約14:26（KJV） But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

約14:26（NIV） But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

約14:27（UCV）我留下平安給你們，我將我的平安賜給你們；我所賜的，不像世人所賜的。你們心裏不要憂愁，也不要膽怯。

約14:27（NCV）我留下平安給你們，我把自己的平安賜給你們；我給你們的，不像世界所給的。你們心裏不要難過，也不要恐懼。

約14:27（CLV）並且我要把我的平安賜給你們，我所賜的平安，是世人不能給的，所以你們不必憂愁，也不用害怕。

約14:28（UCV）你們聽見我對你們說了，我去，還要到你們這裏來。你們若愛我，因我到父那裏去，就必喜樂，因為父是比我大的。

約14:28（NCV）你們聽見我對你們說過：『我去，但還要回到你們這裏來。』你們若愛我，就要喜樂，因為我到父那裏去，又因為父是比我大的。

約14:28（CLV）記得我對你們說過，我去了還要再回來。我快要到比我更偉大的父上帝那裏去，如果你們真的愛我，就應當歡喜快樂。

約14:28（KJV）Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

約14:28（NIV） "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

約14:29（UCV）現在事情還沒有成就，我預先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候，就可以信。

約14:29（NCV）現在事情還沒有發生，我就已經告訴你們，使你們在事情發生的時候可以相信。

約14:29（CLV）現在，事情還沒有臨到，我便先告訴你們，到了事情實現的時候，你們就會深信不疑了。

約14:29（KJV）And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

約14:29（NIV） I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.

約14:30（UCV）以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到，他在我裏面是毫無所有，

約14:30（NCV）我不會再跟你們講很多的事，因為這世界的統治者將到；他在我身上毫無作用，

約14:30（CLV）我沒有時間再跟你們談，因為世上的王魔鬼快要來了，雖然他根本沒有力量勝過我，

約14:30（KJV）Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

約14:30（NIV）I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me,

約14:31（UCV）但要叫世人知道我愛父，並且父怎樣吩咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們走吧。

約14:31（NCV）但這些事是要使世人知道我愛父，並且知道父怎樣吩咐了我，我就怎樣作。起來，我們走吧！」

約14:31（CLV）只是為了讓世人知道我愛父上帝，我還是要遵照父上帝的命令去做。起來，我們走吧！」

約14:31（KJV） But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

約14:31（NIV）but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. "Come now; let us leave.
