James 1:3（KJV）Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

雅1:4（UCV）但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全完備，毫無缺欠。

James 1:4（KJV）But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:4（NIV）Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

雅1:5（UCV）【要憑著信心求】你們中間若有缺少智慧的，應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的　神，主就必賜給他。

雅1:5（NCV）你們中間若有缺少智慧的，就當向那厚賜眾人，而且不斥責人的　神祈求，他就必得著。

雅1:5（CLV）如果在你們當中有誰缺少智慧，他就應該祈求那位樂意厚賜給人，而且不苛刻責備人的上帝，就必定得著。

James 1:5（KJV）If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:5（NIV）If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

雅1:6（UCV）只要憑著信心求，一點不疑惑；因為那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被風吹動翻騰。

雅1:6（NCV）可是，他應該憑著信心祈求，不要有疑惑；因為疑惑的人，就像被風吹蕩翻騰的海浪。

雅1:6（CLV）他一定要憑著信心，毫不疑惑地去祈求；因為疑惑的人，就像海上隨風翻騰的波濤一般。

James 1:6（KJV）But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:6（NIV）But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

雅1:7（UCV）這樣的人不要想從主那裏得甚麼。

雅1:7（NCV）那樣的人，不要想從主得到甚麼；

雅1:7（CLV）這種人三心兩意，沒有定見，必不能從主那裡得到甚麼。

James 1:7（KJV）For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

James 1:7（NIV）That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;

雅1:8（UCV）心懷二意的人，在他一切所行的路上都沒有定見。

雅1:8（NCV）因為三心兩意的人，在他的一切道路上，都搖擺不定。

James 1:8（KJV）A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8（NIV）he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

雅1:9（UCV）卑微的弟兄升高，就該喜樂；

雅1:9（NCV）【富貴榮華轉眼消逝】卑微的弟兄應當以高升為榮；

雅1:9（CLV）卑微的弟兄被提升，應當快樂；

James 1:9（KJV）Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

James 1:9（NIV）The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position.

雅1:10（UCV）富足的降卑，也該如此。因為他必要過去，如同草上的花一樣，

雅1:10（NCV）富足的也不應該以降卑為辱；因為他如同草上的花，必要過去。

雅1:10（CLV）富有的弟兄被貶抑，也要抱著同樣的態度。因為富貴榮華都會像花草一樣衰殘；

James 1:10（KJV）But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

James 1:10（NIV）But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower.

雅1:11（UCV）太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，美容就消沒了；那富足的人在他所行的事上，也要這樣衰殘。

雅1:11（NCV）太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，它的美容就消失了；富足的人也必在他的奔波經營中這樣衰落。

雅1:11（CLV）當驕陽一出，熱風一吹，草就乾枯，花也凋謝，美麗就消失了。有錢人也要在他所經營的事業上如此衰殘。

James 1:11（KJV）For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

James 1:11（NIV）For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

雅1:12（UCV）【忍受試探的人是有福的】忍受試探的人是有福的，因為他經過試驗以後，必得生命的冠冕，這是主應許給那些愛他之人的。

雅1:12（NCV）【忍受試探的人有福了】能忍受試煉的人，是有福的；因為他經過考驗之後，必得著生命的冠冕，這冠冕是主應許給愛他的人的。

雅1:12（CLV）在試探中仍能持久站穩的人有福了，因為如果他經得起考驗，就必定得到主答應賜給那些愛祂的人的生命冠冕。

James 1:12（KJV）Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

James 1:12（NIV）Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

雅1:13（UCV）人被試探，不可說：『我是被　神試探』，因為　神不能被惡試探，祂也不試探人。

雅1:13（NCV）人被試探，不可說『我被　神試探』；因為　神不能被惡試探，他也不試探任何人。

雅1:13（CLV）當人被試探的時候，切不可說：「是上帝在試探我的。」因為上帝不受邪惡所誘，也不試探人。

James 1:13（KJV）Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:13（NIV）When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

雅1:14（UCV）但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。

雅1:14（NCV）每一個人受試探，都是被自己的私慾所勾引誘惑的。

雅1:14（CLV）其實，每個被惡誘惑的人，都是被本身的情慾慫恿誘惑的。

James 1:14（KJV）But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:14（NIV）but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.

雅1:15（UCV）私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來；罪既長成，就生出死來。

James 1:15（KJV）Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:15（NIV）Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

雅1:16（UCV）我親愛的弟兄們，不要看錯了。

James 1:16（KJV）Do not err, my beloved brethren.

雅1:17（UCV）各樣美善的恩賜，和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

雅1:17（NCV）各樣美善的恩賜，各樣全備的賞賜，都是從上面、從眾光之父降下來的，他本身並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影子。

雅1:17（CLV）每一樣完美的恩賜，都是從天上，就是一切光明之源的天父那裡來的。祂永遠不改變，也沒有絲毫變動的跡象。

James 1:17（KJV）Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:17（NIV）Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

雅1:18（UCV）祂按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中，好像初熟的果子。

雅1:18（NCV）他憑著自己的旨意，藉著真理的道生了我們，使我們作他所造的萬物中初熟的果子。

雅1:18（CLV）祂按照自己的旨意，藉著真理，使我們成為祂的兒女；在祂所造的萬物之中，好像初熟的果實一樣。

James 1:18（KJV）Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:18（NIV）He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

雅1:19（UCV）【要行道不要單聽道】我親愛的弟兄們，這是你們所知道的。但你們各人要快快的聽，慢慢的說，慢慢的動怒，

雅1:19（NCV）【要作行道的人】我親愛的弟兄們，你們要知道，人人都應該快快地聽，慢慢地說，慢一點動怒；

雅1:19（CLV）親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們無論在甚麼事上，都應該快快地聽，慢慢地說，慢慢地動怒；

James 1:19（KJV）Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

James 1:19（NIV）【Listening and Doing】My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

雅1:20（UCV）因為人的怒氣並不成就　神的義。

雅1:20（NCV）因為人的忿怒並不能成全　神的義。

雅1:20（CLV）因為人的憤怒實在不能伸張上帝的公義。

James 1:20（KJV）For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 1:20（NIV）for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

雅1:21（UCV）所以，你們要脫去一切的污穢和盈餘的邪惡，存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道，就是能救你們靈魂的道。

雅1:21（NCV）所以你們應當擺脫一切污穢和所有的邪惡，以溫柔的心領受　神栽種的道；這道能救你們的靈魂。

雅1:21（CLV）你們要除去所有的污穢和剩存的邪惡，謙遜地領受那已經栽種在你們心裡的真道，這真道能救你們的靈魂。

James 1:21（KJV）Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:21（NIV）Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

雅1:22（UCV）只是你們要行道，不要單單聽道，自己欺哄自己。

雅1:22（NCV）你們應該作行道的人，不要單作聽道的人，自己欺騙自己；

雅1:22（CLV）你們務要把所聽到的道實行出來，不要聽過就算，那就成了自己欺騙自己。

James 1:22（KJV）But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:22（NIV）Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

雅1:23（UCV）因為聽道而不行道的，就像人對著鏡子看自己本來的面目，

雅1:23（NCV）因為人若只作聽道的人，不作行道的人，他就像一個人對著鏡子看自己本來的面貌，

雅1:23（CLV）至於那些聽道而不行道的人，他們好像人照鏡子一樣，

James 1:23（KJV）For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

James 1:23（NIV）Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror

雅1:24（UCV）看見，走後，隨即忘了他的相貌如何。

雅1:24（NCV）看過走開以後，馬上就忘記自己的樣子。

雅1:24（CLV）看過了，就走開，隨即忘記了自己的容貌是怎麼樣的；

James 1:24（KJV）For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

James 1:24（NIV）and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

雅1:25（UCV）惟有詳細察看那全備、使人自由之律法的，並且時常如此，這人既不是聽了就忘，乃是實在行出來，就在他所行的事上必然得福。

雅1:25（NCV）惟有詳細察看那使人自由的全備的律法，並且時常遵守的人，他不是聽了就忘記，而是實行出來，就必因自己所作的蒙福。

雅1:25（CLV）惟有不斷考究那全備使人自由的律法的人，才不是單單聽了就忘，而且能夠在生活上實踐出來，這樣做就會在他所做的事情上得福。

James 1:25（KJV）But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:25（NIV） But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.

雅1:26（UCV）【何為真實的虔誠】若有人自以為虔誠，卻不勒住他的舌頭，反欺哄自己的心，這人的虔誠是虛的。

雅1:26（NCV）如果有人自以為虔誠，卻不約束他的舌頭，反而自己欺騙自己，這人的虔誠是沒有用的。

雅1:26（CLV）又如果有人自以為虔誠，卻不謹慎自己的舌頭，就等於是自己欺騙自己，他的所謂「虔誠」也算不得甚麼。

James 1:26（KJV）If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

James 1:26（NIV）If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

雅1:27（UCV）在　神我們的父面前，那清潔沒有玷污的虔誠，就是看顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不沾染世俗。

雅1:27（NCV）在父　神看來，純潔無玷污的虔誠，就是照顧患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不被世俗所污染。

雅1:27（CLV）至於真正虔誠的人，在父我們的上帝看來，就是那些有實際行動，肯照顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且能潔身自愛，不染世俗的人。

James 1:27（KJV）Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James 1:27（NIV）Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
