雅5:1（UCV）【警告富足的人】嗐，你們這些富足人哪！應當哭泣、號咷，因為將有苦難臨到你們身上。

雅5:1（NCV）【警告不義的有錢人】你們富有的人哪，應當為那將要臨到你們的災禍哭泣哀號。

James 5:1（KJV）Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

雅5:3（CLV）你們的金銀就要生滿了銹，那銹勢必要指控你們。它必像火一樣，燒毀你們的身體。世界末日快將來臨的時候，你們還只知積聚財寶？

James 5:3（KJV）Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

James 5:3（NIV）Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.

雅5:4（UCV）工人給你們收割莊稼，你們虧欠他們的工錢；這工錢有聲音呼叫，並且那收割之人的冤聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。

雅5:4（NCV）看哪！工人為你們收割莊稼，你們竟然剋扣他們的工資；那工資必為他們呼冤；收割者的呼聲，已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。

雅5:4（CLV）農工替你們收割，你們卻扣押他們的工資；不獨那工錢發出不平的呼喊，就是工人的冤聲，也已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。

James 5:4（KJV）Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

James 5:4（NIV）Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.

雅5:5（UCV）你們在世上享美福，好宴樂，當宰殺的日子竟嬌養你們的心。

James 5:5（KJV）Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

James 5:5（NIV）You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.

雅5:6（UCV）你們定了義人的罪，把他殺害，他也不抵擋你們。

雅5:7（UCV）【忍耐候主】弟兄們哪！你們要忍耐，直到主來。看哪！農夫忍耐等候地裏寶貴的出產，直到得了秋雨、春雨。

雅5:7（NCV）【忍耐的人有福了】所以，弟兄們，你們應當忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫等待著地裡寶貴的出產，為它忍耐，直到獲得秋霖、春雨。

James 5:7（KJV）Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

James 5:7（NIV）【Patience in Suffering】 Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.

雅5:8（UCV）你們也當忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主來的日子近了。

James 5:11（NIV） As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

James 5:12（NIV）Above all, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.

雅5:13（UCV）【信心祈禱是大有功效的】你們中間有受苦的呢，他就該禱告；有喜樂的呢，他就該歌頌。
