彼後1:1（UCV）【問安】作耶穌基督僕人，和使徒的西門彼得，寫信給那因我們的　神和〔有古卷無『和』字〕救主耶穌基督之義，與我們同得一樣寶貴信心的人：

彼後1:1（NCV）【問安】耶穌基督的僕人和使徒西門．彼得，寫信給那靠著我們的　神，和救主耶穌基督的義，得著和我們同樣寶貴信心的人。

2_Peter 1:1（KJV）Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

彼後1:2（UCV）願恩惠、平安因你們認識　神，和我們主耶穌，多多的加給你們。

2_Peter 1:2（KJV）Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

彼後1:3（UCV）【當在各等德行上求進步】　神的神能已將一切關乎生命，和虔敬的事賜給我們，皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主。

彼後1:3（NCV）【信徒應當長進】　神以他神聖的能力，因著我們確實認識那位用自己的榮耀和美善呼召我們的，把一切有關生命，和敬虔的事，都賜給了我們。

2_Peter 1:3（KJV）According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2_Peter 1:3（NIV）【Making One's Calling and Election Sure】 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

彼後1:4（UCV）因此，祂已將又寶貴、又極大的應許賜給我們，叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞，就得與　神的性情有分。

彼後1:4（NCV）藉著這些，他把又寶貴又極大的應許賜給了我們，好叫你們既然逃脫世上因私慾而來的敗壞，就可以分享　神的本性。

彼後1:4（CLV）祂又將既寶貴又偉大的應許賞給我們，讓我們既可以脫離世上因情慾而帶來的敗壞，就得以與上帝的性情有分。

2_Peter 1:4（KJV）Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2_Peter 1:4（NIV）Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

彼後1:5（UCV）正因這緣故，你們要分外的殷勤。有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知識；

彼後1:5（NCV）正因這緣故，你們要多多努力：有了信心，又要增添美德；有了美德，又要增添知識；

彼後1:6（UCV）有了知識，又要加上節制；有了節制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬；

彼後1:7（UCV）有了虔敬，又要加上愛弟兄的心；有了愛弟兄的心，又要加上愛眾人的心。

彼後1:8（UCV）你們若充充足足的有這幾樣，就必使你們在認識我們的主耶穌基督上，不至於閒懶不結果子了。

彼後1:8（NCV）因為你們有了這幾樣，並且繼續增長，就必叫你們在確實認識我們的主耶穌基督上，不至於閒懶不結果子。

彼後1:8（CLV）如果充分具備了這些美德，你們對主耶穌基督就不會一無所知，以至沒有甚麼收穫。

2_Peter 1:8（KJV）For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2_Peter 1:8（NIV）For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

彼後1:9（UCV）人若沒有這幾樣，就是眼瞎，只看見近處的，忘了他舊日的罪已經得了潔淨。

彼後1:9（NCV）人若沒有這幾樣，就是眼瞎，只看見近處的，忘了他舊日的罪已經得了潔淨。

彼後1:9（CLV）缺乏上述美德的人，若非瞎子，就是近視的；忘記了他從前的罪已蒙潔淨了。

2_Peter 1:9（KJV）But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

彼後1:10（UCV）所以弟兄們，應當更加殷勤，使你們所蒙的恩召和揀選堅定不移。你們若行這幾樣，就永不失腳。

彼後1:10（NCV）所以弟兄們，要更加努力，使你們所蒙的呼召和揀選堅定不移；你們若實行這幾樣，就決不會跌倒。

彼後1:10（CLV）所以，弟兄姊妹們，你們要加倍努力，證明你們是蒙上帝恩召和揀選的人，不辜負祂的好意。如果你們過著這樣的生活，就絕不會失敗；

彼後1:11（UCV）這樣，必叫你們豐豐富富的得以進入我們主救主耶穌基督永遠的國。

2_Peter 1:11（KJV）For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2_Peter 1:11（NIV）and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

彼後1:12（UCV）【使徒親眼見過主的威榮】你們雖然曉得這些事，並且在你們已有的真道上堅固，我卻要將這些事常常題醒你們。

彼後1:12（NCV）【使徒親眼見過主的威榮】因此，你們雖然已經知道這些事，又在你們已有的真道上得到堅固，我還要時常提醒你們。

彼後1:12（CLV）你們雖然知道了這些事，在真道上也很穩固，我還要不斷地提醒你們。

2_Peter 1:12（KJV）Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

彼後1:13（UCV）我以為應當趁我還在這帳棚的時候提醒你們，激發你們。

彼後1:13（CLV）因我知道自己離世的日子已經不遠，正如主所指示我的。所以，我要趁著還在世的時候，不厭其詳、

2_Peter 1:13（KJV）Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

2_Peter 1:13（NIV）I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body,

彼後1:14（UCV）因為知道我脫離這帳棚的時候快到了，正如我們主耶穌基督所指示我的。

彼後1:14（NCV）因為我知道我離世（『離世』原文作『離開這帳棚』）的時候快到了，正如我們的主耶穌基督清楚指示我的。

2_Peter 1:14（KJV）Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

2_Peter 1:14（NIV）because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

彼後1:15（UCV）並且我要盡心竭力，使你們在我去世以後時常記念這些事。

2_Peter 1:15（KJV）Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

彼後1:16（UCV）我們從前將我們主耶穌基督的大能，和他降臨的事告訴你們，並不是隨從乖巧捏造的虛言，乃是親眼見過他的威榮。

彼後1:16（NCV）【信徒和先知都為基督作見證】我們從前把我們主耶穌基督的大能，和降臨的事告訴你們，並不是隨從巧妙捏造傳奇的故事，我們卻是親眼看見過他威榮的人。

彼後1:16（CLV）我們從前告訴你們有關主耶穌基督的大能和祂再來的事，都是實在的，不是捏造虛構的，因為我們曾親眼見過祂的威榮。

2_Peter 1:16（KJV）For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

2_Peter 1:16（NIV） We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

彼後1:17（UCV）他從父　神得尊貴榮耀的時候，從極大榮光之中有聲音出來向祂說：『這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。』

彼後1:17（NCV）因為他從父　神得著尊貴榮耀的時候，在極顯赫的榮光中，有這樣的聲音對他說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。」

彼後1:17（CLV）當祂從父上帝那裡得到尊貴和榮耀的時候，我們也和祂一同在聖山之上。我們親耳聽見有聲音來自天上，從極大的榮光中對祂說：「這是我心愛的兒子，我非常喜歡祂！」

2_Peter 1:17（KJV）For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

2_Peter 1:17（NIV）For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

彼後1:18（UCV）我們同他在聖山的時候，親自聽見這聲音從天上出來。

彼後1:18（NCV）這從天上發出來的聲音，是我們和他同在聖山上的時候，親自聽見過的。

2_Peter 1:18（KJV）And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

彼後1:19（UCV）【預言如照在暗處的燈】我們並有先知更確的預言，如同燈照在暗處。你們在這預言上留意，直等到天發亮，晨星在你們心裏出現的時候，才是好的。

彼後1:19（NCV）【預言如燈照在暗處】我們還有先知的話，是更確實的。你們要特別注意它，好像注意照在暗處的明燈，直到天將破曉，晨星在你們心裡出現的時候。

彼後1:19（CLV）這使我更加相信先知的預言。你們最好是多多留意這些預言，在天破曉、晨星在你們心中升起之前，一直都要把這些預言看作在黑暗中照耀的明燈。

2_Peter 1:19（KJV）We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

2_Peter 1:19（NIV） And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

彼後1:20（UCV）第一要緊的，該知道經上所有的預言沒有可隨私意解說的；

彼後1:20（NCV）最要緊的，你們應當知道：聖經所有的預言，都不是先知自己的見解，

彼後1:20（CLV）最要緊的是記著：聖經的預言是不可以隨自己的意思解釋的，

2_Peter 1:20（KJV）Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

2_Peter 1:20（NIV）Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.

彼後1:21（UCV）因為預言從來沒有出於人意的，乃是人被聖靈感動，說出　神的話來。

彼後1:21（NCV）因為預言不是出於人意的，而是人受聖靈的感動，說出從　神而來的話。

彼後1:21（CLV）因為從來沒有一項預言是出於人意，都是人受了聖靈的感動，才講出上帝的信息。

2_Peter 1:21（KJV）For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2_Peter 1:21（NIV）For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
