彼後2:1（UCV）【預言必有假師傅】從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速的滅亡。

彼後2:1（NCV）【提防假先知和假教師】從前在人民中，曾有假先知出來；照樣，將來在你們中間，也必有假教師出現。他們偷偷把使人滅亡的異端引進來，甚至否認那曾經買贖他們的主，迅速地自取滅亡。。

彼後2:1（CLV）以往曾經有不少假先知出現過，將來在你們中間也同樣會有假的聖經教師出現。他們暗地裡向人灌輸足以使人沉淪的異端邪說，甚至否認那用寶血買贖他們的主。這些人正速速地自招滅亡。

2_Peter 2:1（KJV）But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2_Peter 2:1（NIV）【False Teachers and Their destruction】But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.

彼後2:2（UCV）將有許多人隨從他們邪淫的行為，便叫真道因他們的緣故被毀謗。

彼後2:2（NCV）許多人會隨從他們的淫行，因此真理的道，就因他們的緣故被人毀謗。

彼後2:2（CLV）可是，有許多人卻會效法他們那種邪淫無恥的行為，以至基督的真理被人謗瀆。

彼後2:3（CLV）他們貪婪成性，想用花言巧語在你們身上謀利。這種人的刑罰，在很早很早以前已經判定了；而且很快就要受到滅亡的報應。

2_Peter 2:2（KJV）And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2_Peter 2:2（NIV）Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

彼後2:3（UCV）他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡，也必速速來到〔原文作『也不打盹』〕。

彼後2:3（NCV）他們因為有貪心，就用捏造的話，想在你們身上圖利；懲罰他們的，自古以來就沒有鬆懈；毀滅他們的，也不會打盹。

2_Peter 2:3（KJV）And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2_Peter 2:3（NIV）In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

彼後2:4（UCV）【行不義的必遭敗壞】就是天使犯了罪，　神也沒有寬容，曾把他們丟在地獄，交在黑暗坑中，等候審判；

彼後2:4（NCV）　神沒有姑息犯罪的天使，反而把他們丟入地獄，囚禁在幽暗的坑裡，等候審判。

彼後2:4（CLV）天使犯了罪，上帝也不寬恕，曾把他們丟在地獄，囚在幽暗的深坑裡，等候審判。

2_Peter 2:4（KJV）For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

2_Peter 2:5（KJV）And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

2_Peter 2:5（NIV）if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

彼後2:6（UCV）又判定所多瑪、蛾摩拉，將二城傾覆，焚燒成灰，作為後世不敬虔人的鑑戒；

彼後2:6（NCV）　神判定了所多瑪、蛾摩拉二城的罪，把它們傾覆，燒成灰燼，作為後世不敬虔的人的鑒戒；

2_Peter 2:6（KJV）And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

彼後2:7（UCV）只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。

2_Peter 2:7（KJV）And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

彼後2:8（UCV）因為那義人住在他們中間，看見聽見他們不法的事，他的義心就天天傷痛。

2_Peter 2:8（KJV）(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

2_Peter 2:9（KJV）The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2_Peter 2:9（NIV）if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.

彼後2:10（UCV）那些隨肉身縱污穢的情慾、輕慢主治之人的，更是如此。他們膽大任性，毀謗在尊位的也不知懼怕。

彼後2:10（NCV）尤其是那些隨從肉體，生活在污穢的私慾中，和輕蔑當權的，更是這樣。他們膽大任性，毫無畏懼地毀謗在尊位的。

2_Peter 2:10（KJV）But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

2_Peter 2:10（NIV）This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;

2_Peter 2:11（KJV）Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2_Peter 2:11（NIV）yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.

彼後2:12（UCV）但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們毀謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭遇敗壞。

彼後2:12（NCV）但這些人，好像沒有理性的牲畜，生下來就是給人捉去宰殺的；他們毀謗自己所不知道的事，必在自己的敗壞中滅亡。

彼後2:12（CLV）但這些假教師實在像沒有理性，天生給人捉去宰殺的畜性一樣，連自己不懂的事竟也隨口毀謗；他們在毀壞別人的時候，自己也同樣遭滅亡，

2_Peter 2:12（KJV）But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2_Peter 2:12（NIV）But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.

彼後2:13（UCV）行的不義，就得了不義的工價。這些人喜愛白晝宴樂，他們已被玷污，又有瑕疪，正與你們一同坐席，就以自己的詭詐為快樂。

彼後2:13（NCV）他們行不義，就得了不義的工價。他們在白晝縱情作樂，滿了污點與瑕疵，和你們一同吃飯的時候，就因自己的詭詐而沾沾自喜。

彼後2:13（CLV）真是自食其果。這些敗類整天狂歡作樂；一面和你們同席，一面以欺騙為樂，真是你們中間的污點。

2_Peter 2:13（KJV）And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

2_Peter 2:13（NIV）They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.

彼後2:14（UCV）他們滿眼是淫色〔『淫色』原文作『淫婦』〕，止不住犯罪，引誘那心不堅固的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被咒詛的種類。

彼後2:14（NCV）他們滿眼淫色，而且不住地犯罪。他們引誘心志不堅固的人。他們的心習慣了貪婪，是應當受咒詛的族類。

彼後2:14（CLV）他們眼中充滿淫猥，又不停犯罪，引誘那些意志薄弱的人。他們貪婪成性，實在是該死的！

2_Peter 2:14（KJV）Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

2_Peter 2:14（NIV）With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed--an accursed brood!

彼後2:15（UCV）他們離棄正路，就走差了，隨從比珥之子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工價的先知，

彼後2:15（NCV）他們離棄正路，走入歧途，跟從了比珥的兒子巴蘭的道路。這巴蘭貪愛不義的工價，

彼後2:15（CLV）他們離開正道，走入歧途，重蹈比珥之子巴蘭的覆轍；那個貪愛不義之財的巴蘭先知，

2_Peter 2:15（KJV）Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

2_Peter 2:15（NIV）They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness.

彼後2:16（UCV）他卻為自己的過犯受了責備；那不能說話的驢，以人言攔阻先知的狂妄。

彼後2:16（NCV）他曾經因著自己的過犯受了責備：不能說話的驢，竟用人的聲音說出話來，制止了這先知的狂妄。

彼後2:16（CLV）因為自己的罪受了責備，連他的驢也竟然像人一樣說起話來，制止他狂妄的行為。

2_Peter 2:16（KJV）But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

2_Peter 2:16（NIV）But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.

彼後2:17（UCV）【背棄主的景況將更差】這些人是無水的井，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有墨黑的幽暗為他們存留。

2_Peter 2:17（KJV）These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

2_Peter 2:17（NIV）These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.

彼後2:18（UCV）他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛才脫離妄行的人。

彼後2:18（NCV）因為他們說虛妄誇大的話，用肉體的私慾和邪蕩的事，引誘那些剛剛逃脫了錯謬生活的人。

彼後2:18（CLV）他們口出狂言，講的是絕不兌現的空話；以肉慾邪淫為餌，誘惑那些剛剛擺脫了荒謬生活的人；

2_Peter 2:18（KJV）For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

2_Peter 2:18（NIV）For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.

彼後2:19（UCV）他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏，就是誰的奴僕。

2_Peter 2:19（KJV）While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

2_Peter 2:19（NIV）They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity（NIV）for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.

彼後2:20（UCV）倘若他們因認識主救主耶穌基督，得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住制伏，他們未後的景況就比先前更不好了。

彼後2:20（NCV）如果他們因為認識我們的主、救主耶穌基督，可以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住、受制伏，他們末了的景況，就比先前的更不好了。

彼後2:20（CLV）如果他們因為認識救主耶穌基督，已經擺脫了世俗的污穢，後來又再被這些事情纏繞，又給制伏了，他們這時的處境會比以前更壞，後果真是不堪設想。

2_Peter 2:20（KJV）For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

2_Peter 2:20（NIV）If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

彼後2:21（UCV）他們曉得義路，竟背棄了傳給他們的聖命，倒不如不曉得為妙。

彼後2:21（NCV）既然認識了義路，竟又背棄傳給他們的聖誡命，對他們來說，倒不如不認識好得多了。

2_Peter 2:21（KJV）For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

2_Peter 2:21（NIV）It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

彼後2:22（UCV）俗語說得真不錯：『狗所吐的，牠轉過來又吃；豬洗淨了，又回到泥裏去滾。』這話在他們身上正合式。

彼後2:22（NCV）他們的情形，正像俗語所說的：『狗轉過來，又吃自己所吐的；豬洗淨了，又到污泥中去打滾。』

彼後2:22（CLV）俗語說得好：「狗轉過身來，吃自己所吐的；豬洗乾淨了，又回到污泥裡去打滾！」這些話應用在他們身上是最恰當不過的了。

2_Peter 2:22（KJV）But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

2_Peter 2:22（NIV）Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."
