約壹4:1（UCV）【真理的靈和謬妄的靈】親愛的弟兄啊！一切的靈，你們不可都信，總要試驗那些靈是出於　神的不是，因為世上有許多假先知已經出來了。

約壹4:1（NCV）【怎樣認出　神的靈】親愛的，不要每個靈都信，總要試驗那些靈是否出於　神，因為有許多假先知已經來到世上了。

約壹4:1（CLV）親愛的啊，現在已經有許多假先知出現了！所以，不要輕易相信所有的靈，總要試驗他們是否出於上帝。

1_John 4:1（KJV）Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

約壹4:3（UCV）凡靈不認耶穌，就不是出於　神，這是那敵基督者的靈。你們從前聽見他要來，現在已經在世上了。

約壹4:3（NCV）凡是不承認耶穌基督是成了肉身來的，那靈就是不出於　神，而是敵基督者的靈；你們聽過他要來，現在他已經在世上了。

1_John 4:3（KJV）And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1_John 4:3（NIV）but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

約壹4:4（UCV）小子們哪！你們是屬　神的，並且勝了他們，因為那在你們裏面的，比那在世界上的更大。

約壹4:5（UCV）他們是屬世界的，所以論世界的事，世人也聽從他們。

1_John 4:6（KJV）We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1_John 4:6（NIV）We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

約壹4:7（UCV）【　神就是愛】親愛的弟兄啊，我們應當彼此相愛，因為愛是從　神來的。凡有愛心的，都是由　神而生，並且認識　神。
