約貳1（UCV）作長老的寫信給蒙揀選的太太〔『太太』或作『教會』。下同〕，和她的兒女，就是我誠心所愛的；不但我愛，也是一切知道真理之人所愛的。

約貳1（NCV）【問安】我這作長老的，寫信給蒙揀選的夫人，和她的兒女。你們是我在真理中所愛的；不單是我，凡認識真理的，

約貳1（CLV）作長老的我寫信給蒙揀選的姊妹和你的兒女，就是我誠心所愛的人。其實不單是我，就是一切認識真理的人，也都愛你們。

2_John 1（KJV）The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

2_John 1（NIV）The elder, To the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth--and not I only, but also all who know the truth--

約貳2（UCV）愛你們是為真理的緣故，這真理存在我們裡面，也必永遠與我們同在。

約貳2（NCV）也因為真理的緣故愛你們。這真理在失們裏面，也必與我們同在，直到永遠。

約貳2（CLV）這種愛是從那存在我們裡面，且要永遠與我們同在的真理那裡出來的。

2_John 2（KJV）For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

2_John 4（KJV）I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

2_John 4（NIV）It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.

約貳5（UCV）太太啊！我現在勸你，我們大家要彼此相愛。這並不是我寫一條新命令給你，乃是我們從起初所受的命令。

約貳5（NCV）夫人哪！我現在請求你，我們要彼此相愛。我寫給你的，不是一條新命令，而是我們從起初就有的。

約貳5（CLV）親愛的姊妹，我並不是要給你甚麼新的命令，只不過要勸你一件事：我們大家要彼此相愛，這乃是我們從開頭就已經領受了的命令。

2_John 5（KJV）And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

2_John 5（NIV）And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.

約貳6（UCV）我們若照祂的命令行，這就是愛。你們從起初所聽見當行的，就是這命令。

約貳6（NCV）我們要照著他的命令行事，這就是愛。你們從起初所聽見的那命令，就是要你們憑著愛心行事。

約貳6（CLV）愛就是遵行上帝的命令；這是你們從起初聽見又要行在其中的命令。

2_John 6（KJV）And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

2_John 6（NIV）And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

約貳7（UCV）因為世上有許多迷惑人的出來，他們不認耶穌基督是成了肉身來的，這就是那迷惑人、敵基督的。

約貳7（NCV）有許多欺騙人的已經在世上出現，他們否認耶穌基督是成了肉身來的；這就是那騙人的，和敵基督的。

約貳7（CLV）現在世上有許多騙子出來迷惑人，他們否認耶穌基督是成了肉身降世的事實；這些人是騙子，是敵基督的。

2_John 7（KJV）For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2_John 7（NIV）Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

約貳8（UCV）你們要小心，不要失去你們〔有古卷作『我們』〕所作的工，乃要得著滿足的賞賜。

約貳8（NCV）你們要小心，不要拆毀我們已經完成的工作，卻要得著美滿的賞賜。

約貳8（CLV）你們要提防他們，務要爭取得著完全的賞賜，謹守自己所做的工，免得前功盡廢。

2_John 8（KJV）Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2_John 8（NIV）Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.

約貳9（UCV）【越過基督教訓的就沒有　神】凡越過基督的教訓不常守著的，就沒有　神；常守這教訓的，就有父又有子。

約貳9（NCV）凡越過基督的教訓又不持守的，就沒有　神；持守這教訓的，就有父和子了。

約貳9（CLV）要是你們偏離基督的教訓，不常守著，就是離開了上帝。那些常守這教訓的人，父和子便和他們同在。

2_John 9（KJV）Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2_John 9（NIV）Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

約貳10（UCV）若有人到你們那裡，不是傳這教訓，不要接他到家裡，也不要問他的安。

約貳10（NCV）如果有人到你們那裏，不傳這教訓，你們就不要接待他到家裏，也不要問候他；

約貳10（CLV）若有傳道人到你們那裡，傳的卻不是這教訓，千萬不要接待他們，或跟他們打交道，

2_John 10（KJV）If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2_John 10（NIV）If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.

約貳11（UCV）因為問他安的，就在他的惡行上有分。

約貳11（NCV）因為問候他的，就在他的惡事上有分了。

約貳11（CLV）因為這樣做也算和他們同流合污。

2_John 11（KJV）For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2_John 11（NIV）Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.

約貳12（UCV）我還有許多事要寫給你們，卻不願意用紙墨寫出來，但盼望到你們那裡，與你們當面談論，使你們的喜樂滿足。

約貳12（NCV）【問候的話】我還有許多話要寫給你們，可是我不想借用紙墨，只是盼望到你們那裏當面談談，好讓我們的喜樂充足。

約貳12（CLV）本來我還有許多事要寫給你們，現在不想多費紙筆了。希望有機會到你們那裡，與你們當面暢談，那是多麼痛快啊！

2_John 12（KJV）Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

2_John 12（NIV）I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

約貳13（UCV）你那蒙揀選之姊妹的兒女都問你安。

約貳13（NCV）你那蒙揀選的姊妹的兒女都問候你。
